I had an extraordinary experience at Sen Wellness House. The whole experience was so well-designed and the Nourish Headspa was honestly my favorite spa service I've ever had. The receptionist and technician Junie were both professional, knowledgeable, skillful and kind. They both seemed very excited about the business and invested in its success. Technician Junie was so thoughtful and passionate and had such great energy throughout my time there. I loved all the small, but meaningful touches before, during and after my service. Before my service, the lovely receptionist helped me customize my experience and had scent samples for me to smell and choose from, which I thought was unique, fun and surprisingly helpful. I really enjoyed the pre-service foot soak and tea served in beautiful ceramic cups and being given a pair of spa slippers to wear throughout my time at Sen Wellness. The Nourish Headspa with Technician Junie was perfection! The "Nourish" package adds a mini facial and hydro halo massage to the Purity Headspa. My scalp feels so soothed and my hair feels so fresh after the thorough massage, cleaning and rinse. The facial felt very in-depth, not mini at all, and made such a noticeable difference for my skin. The neck massage was especially amazing; one of those massages that feels like it healed years of tension and made me feel taller. One of my favorite smaller touches was the heated herbal compress on my abdomen. Just as I was arriving for my appointment, I noticed some menstrual cramps coming on. I was a little worried about dealing with discomfort during my appointment, but the heated herbal compress immediately relieved the cramps and I didn't give them a second thought! I definitely recommend the Nourish Headspa and I think it was the perfect first service. After my service, my technician gave me a cup of water (always appreciated post-service) and escorted me to the Salt Room for a free mini-session. Sen Wellness House's Salt Room is very cool. The floor is covered in about two inches of pink salt and walking on the "sand" feels awesome. My technician set me up with two fresh herbal compresses for my eyes and my abdomen and turned on the salt air. The Salt Room is smaller than other salt rooms I've experienced, and I actually liked this because the salt air filled the space more quickly and I was able to enjoy it more. I would love to experience the Salt Room again, and think it would be especially nice to do with a friend. After my mini-session, my technician did a quick demonstration of the sound bowl therapy, which I really liked. I like feeling the vibration in my ribcage and the way my technician moved the sound bowls felt very similar to binaural therapy, which I love! My technician said that Sen Wellness plans to offer different meditation experiences as they exit their soft opening period and I think those will be great! I definitely recommend Sen Wellness House and plan to return. I'd like to bring my sister and do the Salt Room again or get a mani/pedi at Nature Love Salon followed by a headspa at Sen Wellness. I'll definitely be back for the Nourish or Unwind Headspa around my birthday. We had such a wonderful experience! We tried the 80-minute Balance treatment during their soft opening and it was honestly one of the most relaxing experiences we've had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful and personalized. We each got to choose our aromatherapy scent -- I chose eucalyptus and my husband chose lavender -- as well as the mask we wanted to use during the treatment. The service started with a foot soak, followed by warm slippers and a heated pad placed over our stomachs while we relaxed. The treatment included an incredible scalp massage along with neck, shoulder and arm massage, a deep-conditioning hair masque, and the hydro halo treatment. My hair felt incredibly clean and soft afterward, and they even blow-dried it for me before we left. The salt room was another highlight. There is Himalayan salt on the floor and walls, along with Tibetan singing bowls and other sound-healing instruments. Our practitioner even used the singing bowls directly with both of us, which made the experience feel even more special and relaxing. The entire space is beautiful, spotless and brand new, and everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They're currently in their soft opening, but you would never know it based on the level of service we received. Truly a 10/10 experience. I selected the "Relax" facial and it certainly delivered its name. Thi did a great job because at the end I felt relaxed. I appreciated that Thi checked on me during the facial, asking if I am tolerating the massage pressure and feeling comfortable. The spa felt cozy, very clean, and zen. Also, I want to thank Jen for explaining the process and spa products before my appointment when I checked-in; also for asking my preferences regarding products in advance. She was very kind, friendly, and courteous. The only things I would recommend for possible changes in the future is massaging the temple and base of skull more, and using a pillow to lift the heels from the bed during the facial because it can add more comfort and less pressure on the heels. Also, I suggest performing the sound healing in the room rather than in the salt room because lying down while hearing the sound bowl sounds more relaxing. But other than that the staff are great and the experience was cozy and relaxing. To me, it's obvious the staff and owner put a lot of effort and intention into ensuring a relaxing spa experience and selecting high quality ingredients for customers. If you are looking for a re-treat, this is the place. I got the Headspa - Balance (80-minute service), and it was easily one of the most intentional self-care experiences I've ever had. They began with an herbal soak and sound therapy. It wasn't a sound bath; instead, they used two singing bowls right at the headspa station. It was incredibly and really helped me reconnect with my "inner self" before the treatment even fully began. I've had headspas elsewhere, but I usually leave with a headache because the scratching is too intense. Sen is different. They start very gently and adjust the pressure per your request. They check up on you frequently to make sure you are comfortable, which I really appreciated. After the service, they moved me to a drying room to blow-dry my hair, leaving me feeling completely refreshed. Will definitely be back! FYI - they're having a 10% off for soft opening right now. I have been going to Nature Love Salon since they opened and when I heard they were opening a wellness spa, I had to check it out! Sen Wellness House did not disappoint! You start with a nice foot soak which sets the tone for your service. I had a scalp treatment with Junie and wow, just wow. She was absolutely fantastic throughout the treatment. I love the small but effective touches with the warm bean bags on your feet and a warm compress for your belly. My scalp has never felt more nourished and clean!! This was the most amazing experience! My daughter and I loved the "Unwind" package because it had everything. We started with a short foot soak while we relaxed for a few minutes in the beautiful front area. Then we had an incredible session that started with aroma therapy then included heavenly face and scalp treatments, along with a customized upper body massage. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep :). After that treatment, followed by a blow dry, we enjoyed a peaceful sound bath and meditation experience in their unique salt room. so happy i found this place. i booked my friend and i head spa's to celebrate her birthday. upon walking in, we felt very welcomed. they offered us tea prior to our head spas. the space is very clean, asthethically pleasing, and a vibe! the head spa itself was very relaxing. i had lots of tension in my neck/shoulders and they were able to address it too. afterwards, my scalp and hair felt so clean and soft. can't wait to come back again! read more
