I experienced restoration of my well being through water and heat at Asha. The soak was nourishing and relaxing. This was my first cold plunge experience and I really enjoyed it. I felt awake after! The sauna was great. It was my first time doing that too. It was soothing and my skin felt so great after this whole experience. The customer service is great when you check in and out. I wasn't the only newbie and it was wonderful to have the kind staff tell us about what to expect with the lockers, changing rooms and showers. I'd happy go as far as performing a polygraph to prove the fact that the draping was pulled all the way down to my thighs. I don't care what the employee claims to reject. I'd also like to highlight to any potential customers that it should be a huge red flag that instead of addressing a serious and industry-wide boundary violation, they are dismissing my experience. Yes, Deep Tissue Massage can hurt, initially; if you can withstand a few minutes of that minor "pain" you will find that the pain that brought you there has been alleviated. What this session made me realize was that our bodies are like cars. We get it brand new off the lot, and as time progresses our tires get bald, our alignment gets thrown off, we need recalibration, etc. One thing that he said is that this tension is not new, it's not months old, this tension has accumulated since birth, and that hit so deep!
