This company for the past month keeps it ambulance parked 24/7 on 6th ave between 11th and 12th streets with its motor idling relentlessly polluting the air w/o regards to the residents. I have contacted the operations manager who states they are "on a job" and cannot reveal the nature of the job. This is their response: In the interest of addressing your concerns, we will use several alternative locations in the area. However, this unit will be in the area for several more days, and the unit will remain idling. If I could put a zero for their score, I, would do so... I had an extremely disturbing and dangerous experience with SeniorCare EMS Ambulance during what should have been a safe medical transport following major surgery. The driver assigned to my transport was a trainee, and shockingly, so was the attendant in the back with me. During the ride, the driver was speeding, following an incorrect GPS route, and completely disregarded both my concerns about driving so fast and my attempts to provide correct directions. Despite asking her multiple times to slow down and adjust the route, she refused. There was one trained personnel in the ambulance with me, and she was in the driver seat in the front of the ambulance. The situation escalated into a serious accident when the driver drove up a jersey barrier median, causing the ambulance to tip and slam back down violently. As a post-surgical patient, this was terrifying and physically and emotionally traumatic. To make matters worse, the attendant in the back was not properly secured and was thrown onto me multiple times during the incident. Following the crash, a second ambulance transported me back to the emergency room. Even those professionals expressed serious concern and stated that trainees should not have been in those roles under these conditions. Of the three people in the ambulance with me when the accident occurred, not one of them expressed empathy or concern for me. They did call the supervisor who came to the scene a short while later. Senior Care EMS Ambulance has failed to take any meaningful accountability for this incident. While I did receive a refund for the $300 charge, that does not begin to address the severity of what occurred. This was not a minor issue--this was a dangerous failure in patient safety and protocol. I continue to experience physical discomfort and emotional distress from this event, and I am deeply concerned about potential long-term effects. I will be formally reporting this incident to the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Health, as this type of negligence should never be treated as acceptable or routine. I was an employee at Senior ride/Senior Care. I drove the amulet because I'm not EMT qualified. EMS and EMT come get you when things go very wrong, I come get you from the hospital and take you home when you starting to get better. I did my best to give the absolute top-notch care and encourage these people on the way back to getting their health together. As a former motorcycle racer, trust me when I tell you I know pain and I know broken bones in the body that's needs healing, so the encouragement I gave to my passengers all of them except for two people in the 3 years that I worked for senior ride literally fell in love with me. Have had people as old as 85 and a little boy 8 years old tell me you're a good driver. The other drivers I know are careful but what made me special was I come from a racing background, that's like a fighter pilot flying a big old jumbo jet, nothing in the bigger vehicle is going to catch me off guard and I'm thinking three steps ahead so the ride is always better smooth. So yes I would still recommend Senior Ride and Senior Care. For 3 years they were my family. read more

If you value punctuality, look elsewhere. Original pick up time started at 12, then changed to 1 because we were told there were delays. Then at 1:15 I had to call for status which then was told 20 min. Fast forward to 2 still a no show. Called at 2:30 and was told at 3:00 because of heavy traffic. All this time, my elderly father lay in his hospital bed without any food because we were suppose to be discharged at 12. I wish I can give 0 stars but ... On July 8th 2024 I contacted senior care EMS in regards to my elderly mother, and it was the worst mistake I can make Three unhinged ems people show up there names are as followed Natavia lucky Suarez Teena salib mekhael they were completely unhinged inhuman and deranged so has natavia and teena entered my mom room they said to me they're not strong enough to lift her up and to put her on the longboard My mother only weighs like 100 pounds and is 5.5 At that point natavia and Teena Tell me that I have to put my mother on the longboard by myself if you want her to be taken to the hospital for her fractured neck so I had to Put my mother on the longboard while natavia and Teena stood there alongside salib and watched Unbelievable as am helping my mother on long board natavia and Teena complaining in background that to hot that room my mom in to small for them to do their jobs Outrageous as My mother is on the longboard we get into the living room and teena and natavia We can't bring her down the stairs because we can't lift up a 100 pound elderly woman but yet there's three of them on The scene natavia teena and salib At that point natavia and teena put the long board on living room floor this point my mother yelling screaming in pain cause long board very stiff hard uncomfortable me my mother begin requesting stretcher as natavia and Teena they run out my apartment supposedly request more units so as I am on floor with my mother trying help her salib is standing nice quietly in hallway watching standing up against wall finally within the hour Another crew shows up two males, and they carry my mother The stairs onto the stretcher with no help from natavia no help from Teena ofc no help from salib But now here comes the We got to the ER at that point Natvia and Teena forcefully put neck brace on my mother neck which was not needed at all cause when natavia and Teena entered apartment all way In ambulance no neck brace soon as we enter er neck brace they did it make them selves look good natavia and Teena should be highly ashamed of themselves cause pain discomfort elderly patients make them selves look good is Inhumane and disturbing As I removed neck brace cause all it was doing was causing pain and discomfort to my mother natavia when ahead forcefully and aggressively smacked my hand hard said what are you as I try find nurse or doctor help with situation I hear natavia yell towards back of my head bye in very aggressive demanding tone As I am getting a nurse help me my mother I witness natavia and Teena laughing at my mother as she was yelling in pain from neck brace that Teena and natavia used as weapon it absolutely disgusting disturbing way natavia Teena behaved after I had stare down with natavia teena they left doctor came over removed neck brace my mother stopped yelling then she was not in pain anymore natavia and Teena should not be wearing uniform they do not represent ems at all they are aggressive violent they treat elderly people with no respect as far as salib he couldn't stop teena and natavia they over powered him they were dominant force in crew I will not be using senior care ems at all after this incident I will recommend anybody boycott senior care ems your better of calling 911 or any other private emergency services I hope that natavia lucky and Suarez teena are stripped of the uniform they abuse on day to day basis and are fired and have there emt license terminated natavia lucky and Suarez teena are inhumane sick disturbing individuals read more

SeniorCare sent me a bill for the total exorbitant charge (to transport me about 1 block). I sent the bill back twice giving my insurance information. They never submitted a claim, according to my insurance. Eventually, it became too late to submit a new claim, so SeniorCare reported the outstanding balance to credit bureaus. If you want your credit ruined for emergency transportation of 1 block, I highly recommend them. read more

Recently needed transport from hospital to nursing and rehab center. I do not know what the driver had programmed into his GPS. but it could not have been the rehab I was going to. I had to give directions several times which he only half way followed. I live in the area of the rehab and know how to get there. After threatening to call the police the driver finally listened!!! read more

I've never personally used them however my moms doctors office called them to pick her up and transport her to the hospital. She is a cancer patient whose numbers were extremely low so they wanted to ensure safe & secure transport. 5pm the patient is ready for transport. 5:30 passes, 6:00 passes, 6:30 passes, 7:00 passes, still no ambulance/car. 7:05 we get notice that the driver is 5min away. Wait, there's more.. 7:30, still no ambulance. I get the name of the company from the nurse and proceed to call them, the young lady at the desk initially sounds nice, then proceeds to seem annoyed at me that WE'VE been waiting 2 and a half hours and have the nerve to call to ask questions. I will definitely be speaking with the doctors office should a need arise again I will refuse the service for my mother. read more

I have to give a star to write this.I was driving on Sunrise Hwy in Rockville Centre and a family of Goose's were walking across the street in a line as they do.I slowed and stopped as did everyone else coming around the bend.They were 150 ft or so from the bend.Everyone stopped except for the Senior Care EMS truck who went right at them sending one of them tumbling and injured.I chased them and got the phone # and truck #.Went back and the Goose somehow got to the grass.he didnt go with his flock but sat there injured.I called an AMAZING Sanctuary in Massapequa.I waited 45 min until he arived and he used a net and they were able to take the Goose back and save him.Dont Use these Awful people EVER for your loved ones.I called twice and they said they would review the camera in the truck and get back to me.They didnt.Dont use this company. read more

DO NOT USE. If I could assign 0 stars it would still be too much. It's the day after a storm so understandably things are slowed down. However, it's unacceptable to stuff a vehicle with multiple passengers leaving a 92 year old man in a freezing vehicle for an extended period of time to drop them off. In addition to this complete disregard for these passengars the operator was incredibly rude over the phone. Roxanne mistook me for a different family member aggressively saying she had already told me all this information. Seeing as I had never called before she clearly had not. I'm sorry Roxanne that after an over an hour of not knowing where my grandfather was I wanted an answer. Excuse me for my concern over the 'care' he was under. I have never written a yelp review before but after speaking to my grandfather upon arrival to his destination, hearing the pain in his voice as he described the disgusting service he received, about how cold he was, I had to make sure no one else's loved one has to deal with this. It's clear why they ask for payment in advance since no-one would pay after such 'service'. A more appropriate name would be senior lack of care as they can't be bothered with doing their jobs in a reasonable or appropriate manner. Shame on them. read more
