We notified them on 6/12/24, on 6/24 George himself came out to look at the pan and measure the closet to see if a new appropriate drain pan would fit because not all comply with current codes. He ordered the new drain pan, scheduled to have it installed but also commented on the review I left, he asked if he could come by. We said he could come verify our statements when the pan was installed but his team Brian and David were well aware of a number of issues prior to our final payment. Today, August 2nd the new drain pan was installed as George did acknowledge that is the proper installation for the set-up we have. He also reviewed a number of items, offered to fix what he could. While it was a nice offer/gesture, our experience with the team (Brian & David and all the sub contractors) made it impossible for us to accept. George indicated he was not aware and that a number of these items could have easily been punch list items to be taken care, but that option was never given to us. George did in fact reimburse us for a different issue. I'm grateful George stepped in and that he was willing to at least look into it. I'm more grateful he acknowledged and did correct the drain pan and I appreciate his offer to correct what he could. The crew that was here did an excellent job (from what we can tell as of today). It's unfortunate it had to be escalated but I can confidently say, when it was, George did everything he could to get taken care of appropriately. When it got time for me to get the bathrooms done I had the tough task of finding someone I could trust to do the work; as a single girl in the city I didn't want to get taken advantage of. Luckily, my handyman got me in touch with Tim at LA Remodel. Tim and his partner Mike are great. They came out, we talked about what I needed done and gave me an estimate. The work they did was excellent and completed quickly. Since they knew I was on a budget they consulted any time something unexpected came up that would cost more or let me know if there were ways I could save some money, which is why I decided to paint the bathrooms myself and save some cash. I felt like Tim was psychic, I told him what type of look I was going for and all of the samples he brought for me to choose from were spot on. He even picked the faucets that I would've chosen myself. They were also really neat and clean; you get to one bathroom through my bedroom and you could hardly tell they'd been there they cleaned up so well on a daily basis; my rug was cleaner than it was before they started! Tim even called so he could return my cat's favorite toy, which they accidentally took when finishing the job. I thanked him from avoiding a potential crisis since watching her diligently search for it was pretty sad. You almost forget she easily has about 50 other toys she could play with. Tim and his partner also did some work for my parents. They too were thrilled with the quality of work they did for him. He also helped design the space so it functions like three different rooms while still feeling like one connected, open area, which completely changed how we use it. They put down protective matting as they went in and out of the basement, swept the floors daily, cleaned up debris as they worked, and treated our home with real care. That level of pride and follow-through is rare. They painted the ceiling black and were meticulous--no missed spots, no shortcuts. Everything was done with care. We agreed on a timeline, and they started when they said they would, finished on time, and left the space spotless when the job was done. To make things even easier, we simply picked out samples from Home Depot, and Chris and his team handled all the materials. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. All we had to do was make one call, do a little planning, and enjoy our new basement one to two weeks later. And honestly, our basement is now one of our favorite parts of the house. It's peaceful, quiet, and truly enjoyable. What we expected to be just a more functional space turned into a place we actually love spending time in. The whole experience felt exciting--almost like Christmas morning--watching it come together. The results completely exceeded our expectations. My husband and I checked contractor reviews on line, and got several quotes . AMG Builders gave us a competent quote, and its owner Greg Lesiak very clearly explained the project, the amount of work, and time it will take to do the work. The job started on time, and all the workers: electrician, plumber, drywall personnel were courteous, professional and very competent. But what exceeded our expectation the most was Greg Lesiak. He listened attentively to our bathroom remodeling vision, and made suggestions. Because of his experience, his contribution was invaluable and spot on. Needless to say we are extremely happy with the end product. However, it would be unfair if we didn't again mention Greg. It became clear early on that he took pride in his work, and was very attentive to customer service. He quickly responded to text messages and emails. His personality, communication, and interpersonal skills are second to none. Additionally, he willingly, and at no cost, made some other minor repairs in the house. Because of supply chain issues, some of our fixtures didn't arrive on time, and we had to install temporary fixtures. Once the permanent fixtures arrived weeks later, Greg, again with a smile on his face, came to the house and replaced the temporary ones. They built our home which we paid a lot of money for and they cut corners, put in damaged cabinets,…read moredrywall cracking everywhere, calk cracking; wood floor is piping up, now we are replacing the entire master bath. The tile and grout was cracking and coming loose. As we went to replace the tile, moisture and mold was found under the tile during demo; the entire sub floor is wet and the whole bathroom has to be pulled up to replace the sub floor. House is only 7 years old. Pretty house, very poor construction. Also when we asked to address some of the really obvious things that were wrong they were very rude to us.
