I wanted to love this place unfortunately I will not be back. The chicken tenders that my daughter received were not only insanely overcooked, you could line them up next to eachother and see where they had cut them in half in order to use less food.

Fourteen Mile Tap House has revamped the inside of the building and has made it a lot more open with some extra TVs. They extended the inside bar and expanded the seating area. They've got a pretty solid selection of beers, but I would have liked to see more sours and ciders, personally. They don't have a huge selection of bottled/canned beers, but between the draft selection, cans/bottles, domestics, wines, and even some frozen drinks, you're sure to find something you'll like! The pina colada was pretty decent. It is pre mixed, so it's not a hand crafted cocktail, but I was not mad at it one bit. The food menu wasn't too bad, but I think it could use some improving. The pretzels are not made in house and leave a lot to be desired. We got the Brie and mango chutney, which was good, but we definitely expected the Brie to be baked or broiled or warmed in some capacity, but it wasn't. The menu doesn't suggest it will be warm, we just assumed it would be. It wasn't bad by any means, but it was a little difficult to spread on thin crackers, so it got really messy. Nachos my friends got looked fine, but not overly impressive by any means. It's definitely bar food, not a fancy restaurant. Overall, we had a good experience. The prices were fair, the service was great, the establishment was clean, and there is a good variety of drinks to cater to damn near everyone. I will most certainly return to Fourteen Mile Tap House with some hope of the quality of the food improving.

Every single part of it (I honestly think the marrow in the bones would even have flavor lol) is full of robust flavor and is juicy. You can taste the expertly balanced spices and fruit juices in the marinade and rubbed on the skin. Large portion and the sides were delightful too. The owner/chef came out and introduced himself-so warm and kind. He is very active in the community which just makes it even better. Yall this place is a gem!!! Don't pass it by. Hands down some of the very best food in Lexington. Any other "normal" chicken will never be the same. .

Great food for such a small, local place! Our server was new but she was so pleasant and attentive…read more She did an awesome job! We ordered the garlic cheese curds as an appetizer and they were full of flavor, and not too garlicky. I had the grilled Salmon with grilled asparagus and sweet potato fries. The asparagus was perfectly seasoned, not soaked in sauce, the sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside and the salmon was flaky and delicious. My husband had the fried shrimp with southwest hush puppies which were both fried to perfection. The banana cream cheesecake was the perfect takeaway dessert and it was so rich and creamy. We will definitely be back!

It's spacious and clean. I also learned they have a separate event space, which is something worth keeping in mind. Customer service was outstanding. I really commend the quality of service that was provided throughout our entire dining experience. I was really impressed. They bring a very cute butterfly fruit plate for kids, which I thought was really beautiful and very on target. We tried the Japanese fried chicken appetizer with the sauce on the side. They came in chicken nugget form, and they were really good with a very subtle flavor and fairly crispy. The wedge salad was also tasty along with the garlic bread. We enjoyed the brussels sprouts as well. I ordered the flank steak with mashed potatoes and the corn. The dish was so delicious. Their fries were also really good. The food and the entire dining experience were very pleasing. I love the flavor, and everything tasted fresh. When we return we will try one of the boards.

The cocktails are AMAZING -- seriously some of the most unique and delicious drinks in the area. They're creative, flavorful, and beautifully made. Nikki, the bartender, is an absolute gem. She is so kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful when I'm feeling indecisive. I can tell her what flavors I'm in the mood for, and she'll make something off-menu that ends up being perfect every time. The fact that she remembers me and my boyfriend even though we've only been 3 or 4 times says so much about the level of care and attention she gives her guests. The food is pretty good overall, but for us it doesn't quite match the price point. That said, we happily sit at the bar because the drinks and service make it completely worth it. If you're going, grab a seat at the bar and let Nikki take care of you -- you won't regret it!

Such a cute area with boutiques, bakery/coffee shops and restaurants. I was excited for, craving and hoping for fish and chips and they did not disappoint! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Now mind you there were a lot of empty tables with "reserved" on them at that point. Fast forward an hour later, because we didn't get a txt from them, we went in to see what the story was. They proceeded to tell us it would be another 30 minutes. Also the seats that had "reserved" on them were still empty! They said they would take care of us, and walked us over to the bar side, and told us we would have to stand at the counter to eat! I was fuming. The other three from my party walked out, while i proceeded to tell the manager this was extremely poor service! All he could say was they were busy. I pointed out the empty tables that were empty when we first walked in an hour ago and are still empty! They finally gave us one of those tables. We were out in an hour and guess what ...... there were still empty tables with "reserved" on them! Would NOT recommend this place to anyone! My suggestion is to go someplace else!! Like I said, our waitress was extremely nice and couldn't apologize enough.
