10/10! When the birria craze first came out, we went nuts and tried every shop. We felt a little fluffy and OD'ed. So we took a 2 year hiatus. Then we tried Senor Birria. Wow - I dunno how they made it so juicy while making it feel clean. My hands didn't have oil dripping down and yet, YET! it had the best flavor and the consommé was chef's kiss. Also, you MUST get the birria crunch wrap. Not much knocks our socks off these days but this was insanely good. I go about once a and everytime I've gone the food is fantastic. But they really gotta train their staff on customer service. I always feel like an inconvenience to the ladies in the front everytime I go. Went yesterday ordered about 12 tacos and I accidentally said "plate of birria" and at the end i apologized and asked for it to be taken off the check (I hadn't paid yet) she looked so irritated roller her eyes. Took my pay gave me the receipt and turned around to talk to her coworker When I got my order I didn't get my 2 large horchatas went to the front to ask for them. She thought I was lying and went to go check my table. I mean she should know they aren't there since she was to busy to give them to me in the first place. Finally tried this place and I don't know why it took us so long. We got the birria bowl - one with chicken and one with beef. Both were SO GOOD! Generous portions; the bowl was enough for two meals! I just got turned on to this restaurant! AMAZING FOOD ~ SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF I met a friend for quick meal and I am blown away at the amazing taste of the meat prepared "birria" style. The meat is tender, lean and savory. The staff is very friendly and easily explained the attributes of the "birria" cooking tradition, even giving us samples. The portion to price ratio is fabulous! The tacos are totally stuffed and fantastic! My friend got the quesadilla and it was enormous; 2 meals easily, and absolutely delicious! I'm from Fresno and I am particular when it comes to Mexican food. I'm more of a home cook meal guy than a corporate restaurant dude. Wow! Great food at a great price! I went for their Taco Tuesday deal and got three crunchy tacos with the beef birria meat. It was so delicious. The hard taco shell was done just right, and the meat with all the delicious spices were just like out of Grandma's kitchen. The Salsa bar was acceptable, and had two selections of salsa. The deep red Guajillo style or the orange hobeñero (I assumed anyway). Watch out if you don't like spice!!! Both salsas were hot but so flavorful and made the tacos amazing. Great little spot. The Birria plate is such a generous helping of juicy meat, beans and rice was perfecto cooked and seasoned! Their salsa and pickled red onions were so good! Disappointing experience yesterday. First, the good: Clean and new interior, with prompt counter service. Self-service accoutrements bar was well stocked and contained delicious salsa, lime wedges and onions. Tasty house agua fresca (Jamaica). The rest: Senor Birria was quite busy, with all but a few tables full, which we took as a good sign. After we ordered, my wife went to scout out a table while I waited standing by for our drinks. It was at this point that I heard a seated couple ask the woman who just rung us up how much longer it would be for their food. She told them "one hour." They were flabbergasted, and actually thought I must've misheard what they were told, so I asked them kindly, "Were you just told what I think you were told?" They confirmed that I had heard correctly. The attendant who had just taken our order overheard us talking, said something unintelligible and I asked if it was going to be an hour for our food, too. She replied "No, only 30 or 40 minutes." Now, we're understanding restaurant patrons -- often to a fault. We understand how restaurant employees can get screwed when someone calls off, or maybe they just get in the weeds with big orders. But this didn't appear to be that type of situation -- no excuses were given, and no explanation why they didn't say something before we ordered, which would've been a basic level of courtesy and professionalism. Friends, before you ask, this was takeout-quality birria, and a small, uncomplicated order, at that: one crunch wrap, two tacos, small consommé, a bottle of Jarritos and one agua fresca (nothing weird or off-menu). It's not like we ordered the soufflé at a fancy restaurant in advance so we should've known to expect a long wait. Hell, most everything this place sells is largely prepared in advance. What happened? No heads up upon ordering, no explanation after we asked, no apology for the inconvenience, nothing. For the record, it took us around 35 minutes to receive our food, and some other patrons who didn't appear to have received their food left in frustration, including the customers who were told they'd have to wait an hour. Ridiculous. As for the food, I had the crunch wrap, which was... fine. Good portion size, nicely crisp on the outside and hot on the inside. The meat itself was juicy, but not particularly well seasoned or umami. The consommé was similarly middling. If the food were tastier, we might've considered giving them another try and chalk it up to a bad early night, but it wasn't good enough to be worth the risk. Thanks for playing, Senor Birria. Delicious! Rocio was super friendly and provided great service. The horchata is made in house and you can really taste the quality. The tortillas are also super soft and crispy at the same time. Visited on Sunday morning at 10 a.m. We ordered the chilaquiles with eggs over easy and Birria, two quesatacos and consome. The chilaquiles were perfectly cooked, the tortilla chips are thick and crunchy (not soggy like other places). They also add beans at the bottom. If you like chilaquiles really spicy add some salsa from the salsa bar. To drink we ordered a michelada (great michelada mix, not too salty), Mexican Coke and Mandarin Jarritos. The service was quick and the ambiance was nice as well. Very clean restaurant! We will definitely be back. read more

I saw a TikTok video raving about the giant chilaquiles and I LOVE chilaquiles so we went the next day. It was so underwhelming. They were insanely dry and we asked for extra sauce and was charged. We already paid almost $40 for this dish and it wasn't enjoyable. We also ordered the papa loca with birria and it wasn't very flavorful. We saw this place on IG, and decided to give it a try. We walked in and the place was very clean. The girl that took our order was nice. When the food arrived, the tacos were on the small side. They were very flavorful. We also ordered the Birria fries, which were packed. My suggestion would be to skip the tacos, order the fries and get tortillas on the side and make your own tacos and save some cash. We were a party of Three, and our bill came to $68.00! We finally decided to give this place a try. We went in with high hopes of finding a local taco place. Don't bother!! We walked in and the place was empty. Should have taken that as a hint and left. The two girls at the counter didn't even say hello. Usually when a place opens that is new to a community, the workers will ask if you have been there before and if not, ask if you have any questions. The two girls just stood there as if it was a bother for us to be there. We ordered the Birria Tostado Bowl and 3 tacos. We have had Birria before so this wasn't the 1st time having it. I can definitely say that we have had way more flavorful Birria and consome. It actually was quite bland, especially the consome. And I would also like to add that if you want consome to dip your tacos in, you have to purchase a cup of it for $5. I really don't need an entire cup for 3 tacos. The tostada shell was good and freshly made. The portion was generous but again, the Birria lacked flavor. The salsa at the salsa bar had salsa that we have not had before. There was one that was orange and puréed. I believe this was their mild salsa. It lacked flavor that salsa should have. The other salsa was their hot one and that it was. I like spicy and though this had heat, it again lacked flavor. Senior Birria was a disappointment and unfortunately due to the service and lack of flavor in their food, we won't be back. read more

Yummy! I must say, this food excels when fresh. Initially we did delivery and it was good but not amazing. Today we finally came into the restaurant and tried it - awesome! So savory and delicious. I have had a lot of good birria (both Billy goat & beef) tacos & consome in the past, but my experience here was disappointing. The birria and consome was bitter, greatly lacking in flavor and even the salsa, though spicy, had no flavor. In addition, the girls working the counter and dining area seemed disinterested in their customers. It felt like they didn't want to be there and by the time I was done, neither did I.
