This was our first time at this restaurant. It was packed, they served complementary chips and salsa. The salsa was mild, but very flavorful. I got the Baja tacos, it was sooo goood, my mother got three types of tacos and she enjoyed the fish and chicken tacos more than the shrimp taco. The server kinda leaves you alone until you call for them. The drinks were ok. I got a pineapple margarita and it wasn't good, they swapped it out for the berry margarita which was better. I could feel it about half way through the replacement for sure. I'll be back for sure. read more

I'm really not crazy about Mexican food I like chips, salsa and guacamole but as far as all that other stuff, I really can't eat it. It all looks the same to me. It's a nice atmosphere. The place has very loud music hard to have a conversation I go back with friends that like to eat that slop, but I just eat chips and salsa. read more

Went here for a birthday celebration. It was crowded and loud on a Thursday night. All our standard expectations were met; free, flowing chips and salsa, heavy pour margaritas, and a good assortment of your typical Tex-Mex/south of the border fare. The staff was smiling (a trait which seems to be going extinct), and although they were busy, they were attentive and considerate. Food was served in a timely manner, the plates were delicious, and they even brought out the birthday sombrero to wear while the staff sang happy birthday. Not really a stop off every day after work for a quick bite type of joint, but would definitely go back for a semi-special event. read more

This is the second time going to Senor Chile on Benfield Rd. Both times the food was delicious. This last time (29 Apr 24) my wife had the Sombrero Salad which was loaded with plenty of chicken. She really loved it. I had the Tacos Birrea which were fantastic. There were 4 tacos and I could only eat 3. Unusual for me not to finish at the restaurant what I order. The dipping consomme was so delicious I finished it with a spoon. Definitely authentic food NOT Tex-Mex (although I also like Tex-Mex). The Peoples Margarita was very fresh tasting - pineapple juice and lime juice. The service was excellent, our server was attentive without being a pest. Possibly the only downside to this restaurant is the size - very small. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Had dinner here with friends a few days ago. The food was good, the chips and salsa was amazing. However, it took forever to get water. We asked at least 4-5 times if we could please have water and we were halfway done with our dinner when it finally arrived. One of my friends ordered a soda and it was the same thing. Not sure what the deal was, usually water is something that gets served before anything else. I felt like SpongeBob out of water by the time it finally arrived. read more

Second time to this place, and it was a hit. We had a nice bartender and some delicious homemade food. The house salsa is very flavorful and unique, and the chips are thin and crispy. Hot sauce is homemade and compliments any dish. Flavorful tender al pastor, delicious nachos, with loads of seasoned chicken, guacamole that is limey and creamy. Good draft beer as well. Excellent authentic Mexican. I thought the only place we'd ever be able to get a decent taco in Severna Park would be a food truck. This place has a great menu and we look forward to coming back and trying more. Like others have said it is a small space and that's only a problem because it's so good that you wont be the only person in the place. I got traditional tacos (they call them Streets there) - carnitas and Al Pastor - both super good. Best Al Pastor I've had maybe ever. The free chips and salsa are actually really good and the Horchata was great. Five stars in a two star town. Best restaurant by a wide margin in this area. The Severna Park location is quickly becoming one of my favorite hang outs! The food is so delicious and I receive great service. We recently decided to have them cater a party at our home with for 30 people. They set up a taco cart and made customized tacos with ALL the fixins. The employees on site at our home were so accommodating and friendly. And once again, the food was outstanding. I would highly recommend using them for house or neighborhood parties. read more
