I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this establishment...I was expecting to just grab something that was just "Ok" and when I tell you that my tune Changed once I saw those Chesapeake Oysters come out and took that first fork full of LUMP CRAB meat and took that bite which is just full of FLAVOR...and then we had Lemon Pepper & Honey Old Bay wings which were SCRUMPTIOUS and had me wondering how I've never been here...I will definitely be returning for sure! My significant other and his friend frequent this place all the time. A few days ago, my significant other ordered a Caesar salad without the dressing with blackened tuna. He is allergic to eggs and he asked the waitress if the Caesar dressing is store bought or homemade. The waitress said it was homemade and he mentioned he is allergic to eggs so he doesn't want the salad to come with the Caesar dressing. He did get his Caesar salad without the dressing and blackened tuna. He took a few bites of the salad and had a full blown anaphylactic reaction. He went to his car to get his Epipen and shot himself with it. Didn't work so he shot himself again with the second Epipen. He walked back to the restaurant and spoke to the manager that there is cross contamination and her response was she will comp his lunch. I mean he almost died and that was her response. I am writing this review to let you know if you have a food allergy to let the waitress know and hoping the chef/cook staff know not to use the same utensils since cross contamination can happen. read more

3 of us visited O'Loughlins for the first time today for lunch and to catch a football game, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Our waitress, Eryn, was amazing and made great recommendations for us. We tried the pickle fries, honey-baked Brie, wings, snake bites, roast beef on weck, and the mud pie - every dish was delicious! The bar was pretty packed, so we opted to sit outside. It was a little chilly, but they turned on the heaters for us and put on the game we came to see. Later, when a table opened up inside, the staff was kind enough to move us indoors, where the atmosphere was lively, with plenty of TVs to catch all the action. Overall, O'Loughlins provided great food, a warm environment, and outstanding service. We'll definitely be back! read more

I went here last night, and it was the first time in several years. The menu is very large, and there are TVs everywhere. It was a Friday night, and the restaurant was very crowded and loud. I do enjoy that this restaurant turns on music instead of the TV sound where you hear the commercials on full blast. We probably eat here or get takeout every month and we never run into issues. Started dinner with chicken tenders appetizer that was good, dinner included 27.00 Crab cakes with nothing but chunks of crab, much better than anything you can find in Jersey which is typically just mush. Large portion of 22.00 Ribs that were average. Sat outside in a little bubble with its own heater, servers were nice unfortunately carry out was priority and it took a hour to get dinner. Came in randomly while in the neighborhood with my wife on a Friday for lunch. Sat at the bar and noticed all the Buffalo, NY memorabilia so I had to try the wings...the hottest ones, namely, SUICIDAL. So, gotta love it when the wings are as hot as advertised! I just love this restaurant. It's a local community restaurant. The owner is very present and is certain to say hello to all customers as he walk through. His employees are the best, always friendly, great service. It's a comfortable place to go and have a nice meal, watch a game and just relax from your day. Everyone needs their Cheers. O's is ours. From the owner to the bartenders to the wait staff, the best there is in hospitality. The old bay and butter wings are amazing. The specials are pretty much the roadmap of what to order. From wing night to seafood and Irish nights to prime rib on the weekends and falling off your ribs Sunday, so many choices, so little time. A great place to watch football, baseball or any other sport. Lots of TVs in the bar. And there's an outdoor area for those who need to be outside on those evenings. The regulars are friendly so you will always feel welcome. As an aside, these guys know how to do take out. It's one of the things that kept them busy during Covid. The one of the managers Helen is an absolute nightmare when it comes to customer service!! A couple of her staff members were bad mouthing another worker calling him uneducated and a highschool drop out for having a dishwasher job. They were also being very racist towards that staff member because that staff member doesn't know english well. These staff members were having this conversation so loudly that I couldn't believe that most people were ignoring them. The person who I was eating with finally got fed up from all the disrespectful things that these staff members were saying and told them to get their manager. The manager comes over and ask what the problem is and we told her that the staff was being disrespectful by having this conversation out in the open and blatantly being racist towards their other staff member. She's like "oh okay what do you want me to do about it" managers are supposed to ensure customer satisfaction and supervising their staff. She just gave us a nasty look and she's like I'll go talk to them. The two staff members obviously tried to lie and try to play off their racist comments as jokes. Absolutely horrible. Those two staff members then glared at me and the person I was eating with, trying to act like they just didn't get caught and called out. The food experience was not that good. The soups was way to salty and overpowering taste of old bay was added into the soup. The eggs they had were flavorless and overcooked. The texture was like rubbery cottage cheese. I order a Roast beef on a "wek" Roast beef was cold "did they take it off the all you can eat bar" juice ah ju was nice, the fries were cold and very salty. The pickle was good though. MAJOR FACT. Lunch on 2/6/24 and only 1 server. We placed our uncomplicated sandwich orders...40 minutes later we are asking about our food. With only 3 people at the bar and a family of 4 we were the only other customers. I ordered the Ruben sandwich. Finally our food arrived. Grilled bread was cold and hard as a rock. The only item on the ruben was a few slices of corn beef. No cheese, sauerkraut no dressing. I had to ask for it which took another 20 minutes! WORST meal ever! I really enjoy coming here and have been doing so for years. I really like their burgers. My favorite is the California burger. It's done with American cheese, avocado and bacon. It combines my favorite things into one delicious burger. I've also had the chicken wings, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders and a bunch of other menu items and all were good. The ambiance here is right up my alley. Irish pub that's not too fancy but yet has tons of tvs to watch sports. They even have Natty specials every time the O's are playing. Me, I like Blue Moon or one of the many other beers they have on tap. Nice and ice cold and not over priced. The staff here is very friendly and attentive as well. I'd recommend giving them a try if you're in the neighborhood. Oh and I almost forgot, my daughter loves that the kids meals come with those sticky sticks lol read more

Whoever made this salad must have been joking, A whole bag of Frisée, lettuce (which isn't even salad lettuce - no Iceberg or Romaine), 2 slices of cucumber, 4 grape tomatoes and a few croutons! I didnt even bother to put their dressing on it. Just munched on the veggies and nibbled on the greasy wings. $20 for this? We just moved to the area, and had heard many good things about O'Loughlins. We ordered their nachos as an appetizer, and I thought they were only okay. However, I did appreciate that they put a layer of "goods" under the chips, rather than pile everything on top. Smooth move that didn't go unnoticed. I'm a big fan of cream of crab soup. I judge a place on their version of it, sometimes it's unfair, but I just can't seem to help it. Often, places over salt, or it's too thin, blah blah blah. However, O'Loughlins was dynamite. Seriously. The only qualm we each had with it was that it came out cold. Granted, it was a very busy Friday, but for a soup with such stellar taste and consistency, the temperature was a bummer. Finally, we each ordered wings: Thai, Buffalo, and spicy garlic. I would not suggest the buffalo, it's generic, and if you're into that... go to BWWs. The Spicy Garlic was out of this world though. Like, salivate the second you smell them kinda good. The menu has a wide variety of foods to try, and I look forward to trying it! All that's missing is the darts When my uncle lived in London, folks in his neighborhood would walk to the local pub at night where they'd have a pint or two, watch some "football" or cricket, and catch up with their friends. O'Loughlins is that kind of place. It's unusual to go and not see people that you know. As you enter, there's a bar on the right that also has some booths. You can order off the full menu, not just appetizers. There are always some sporting events on the televisions. I've never seen the place not full in the evening, even on week nights. It's noisy, but in a gregarious sort of way and everyone looks like they're having fun. On the left side there is the restaurant with two large rooms. The place has a nautical décor of sorts which one would expect in the Annapolis area. You can't make reservations, but they do have call ahead which is nice. It's kid-friendly, and you'll see families there, especially after youth sports. The food is reliable and predictably good. The servers take your drink orders and bring warm rolls to your table. Darling wife had the French onion soup, a side Caesar salad, and some steamed shrimp. I had the blackened, seared ahi tuna appetizer as an entrée. Although billed as 4 oz, I think the portion was more like 6. It was a really a nice piece of fish. I've put a picture up of my plate. Our server, Janie, was a bit business-like until I asked her if she waited full-time or was also a student. At which point she lit up and told us about the nursing program that she was enrolled in. Bottom Line: An A-OK local pub good for bar food, a little booze and carry out. O'Laughlins is a local place located in the Bay Dale Shopping Center along with Rite Aid, Fresh Valley Marketplace and some offer eateries and stores. What I like about O'Loughlins is that it is close to home and they have a diverse menu of bar food when I'm ready to indulge. The full menu is served in the restaurant and a limited bar menu is served in the bar, or perhaps the bar menu is limited after a certain hour. They have 10+ beers on tap and a full bar. O'Loughlins is currently building an outdoor patio which should be open in time for the summer. read more

The wiiiiiings!! I'm from the Arnold area and although I didn't move too far, I never really thought about grabbing lunch or dinner off College Parkway. When I'm in the mood for wings, they have to be from O'Laughlins. Hot, crispy, flavorful - go for the "Chesapeake" which is Old Bay (and butter?) with Hot Sauce. I've always received good service and I really appreciated their creativity and flexibility in offering carry out options to your car during this pandemic. I would say the other traditional menu items (burgers, fries, etc) are good but not amazing. Dem wings, doh. If I could give 3.5 stars I would. Went on a very busy Saturday night. Service was good and wait staff was responsive. Started with some apps. Good wings and steamed shrimp were good as well. But the main course fell short - cake sandwich was lame. Crab tasted kind of weird and it was on the smaller side. We also had a tuna wrap which was bland.
