There's bugs right by the booth walls, our waitress had no hospitality and slid a random plate of beans on our table with no explanation

With a large group of 18. The food is awesome, had the pizza Mexicana. The service is amazing our waitress Alicia was quick, friendly and professional answered all our questions. The atmosphere is great, plenty of lights, tvs if you need a sports fix, a wonderful Mexican feel, great family atmosphere. I will be back again. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Let me begin by saying the food was pretty good. I got chicken fajitas and asked them to hold the pico de gallo. They were sizzling hot and had good flavor. My husband got Enchiladas Supreme. He said they were okay. I wish they would get real glasses or cups because the plastic disposable cups were small and flimsy. The straws were already in our drinks when he brought them out. I prefer to open my straw myself but I have a feeling these weren't wrapped separately to start with. The service was adequate. You can't tell this is a Mexican restaurant from the inside. Some of the tables are folding tables. There is carpet on the floor. The place seems to be very clean and there are a few Christian wall hangings which is nice. If I was local I would probably get take out from this place regularly but if you're looking for the full Mexican restaurant experience, this doesn't quite have that atmosphere.

Found this Mexican Grill in Tellico Plains Tn. If you haven't tried it out.. then you're missing out. Great prices. Great menu and a pleasant staff. Food came in a timely manner. Chips and Queso/Salsa excellent! Stop in and help out this newer business.

Stopped here for a bite to eat on a road trip. Nice restaurant and very friendly staff. Felt like eating with family at a relative's house. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered the Steak Lopez and the Chile Verde pork plate. Some of the best Mexican food I've had (and I'm from California where there is plenty of good Mexican food). The owner has a heart of gold - inviting anyone hungry in to eat even if they can't afford a meal (see photo attached). This restaurant is definitely a favorite when in the area.

There there is motorcycle parking and live music at different times. We decided to eat inside with a wonderful view of the river and birds that would come quite close to the windows. They have a bar and the ambiance was relaxing and refreshing. The food was really, really good! Our server, Hayley, was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful!! We wished we had a server like her wherever we went! Yes, she is that good! We ordered hamburgers with pork rinds. DH's hamburger was a barbecue burger, but we ordered it without a bun and mine was bacon and cheese without a bun. The pork rinds were fresh and delicious!! The burgers were moist and cooked perfectly! Sorry, we were hungry, and we forgot to take pictures of the menu...

I had stopped in to Iron Works Grille for lunch on my last trip to the area in 2019, and my positive experience at the time encouraged me to make it a stop on this recent trip with friends. There has been a recent change in ownership, but the new owners seem to have maintained the previous regime's solid execution of casual tavern cuisine while adding some innovative options to the menu--which focuses on casual dishes including smashburgers, sandwiches, salads, tavern appetizers, and simple platters featuring local specialties. We sat in the open seating area located underneath the main dining room. It offers an excellent view of the Tellico River, which runs behind the restaurant, though I was mildly spooked by the multiple signs along the river's edge warning visitors about snakes. I spent much of the meal checking under the table for unwanted guests. Thankfully, the food at Iron Works Grille was tasty enough to distract me from my reptile anxiety. We started with a dozen of the "Almost Famous" Bacon-Wrapped Fried Pickles ($18), an unexpected combination of two of my favorite savory flavors, and the Smashed Brussels ($12), served perfectly crispy and topped with a delicious balsamic drizzle and a dusting of parmesan cheese. I had the Tellico Trout Sandwich ($15), a generous, hand-breaded filet of fried trout served on a hoagie roll with pickles, lettuce, and house tartar sauce. My sandwich also came with my choice of side .. and I opted for the fried okra. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside while tender on the inside, and I thought it was excellent and paired well with the fried okra. My friends really enjoyed their sandwiches as well. The only minor downside was a small service quirk. I asked if I could get the trout in a wrap. Our server had to check with more experienced staff, who ultimately said no. It seemed a bit odd for a flexible tavern, but the food itself was so good it didn't ruin the meal. Overall, it is a fantastic, scenic spot for a pre- or post-drive meal, and the new management is keeping the kitchen firing on all cylinders.

The service provided by Sergio was exemplary, and we just cannot say enough good things about him. Hard-working, always attentive without ever being over-bearing, kind, respectful, and very knowledgeable about every menu item we asked about. We know we can sometimes ask a lot of our servers, and Sergio never hesitated or faltered in providing some of the best service we have EVER experienced. Kudos to Sergio! Not to leave out the rest of the staff - the manager and everyone else we were in contact with were exceedingly warm and welcoming. And the food! Wow! Everything we ordered (soups, lobster, steaks, and desserts) was perfectly prepared and also among the best meals any of us have ever had. My wife and I have spent a lot of time in Southern Carolina and have become huge fans of She Crab soup and we didn't think we would ever have soup as good as we get there, but we were wrong. The She Crab soup at Foothills Milling Company was better than any we've ever had, anywhere. The steaks were cooked to the perfect temperature and were seasoned just right, and the lobster was amazing. This was seriously among the best dining experiences any of us have ever had, and we will happily recommend Foothills Milling Company to everyone we know. We cannot wait for our next visit. Thank you to Sergio, the chef(s), and the rest of the staff for making our Mother's Day celebration so special.

I decided on the Orechiette Mushroom Pasta, with a nice South American Malbec. So happy with both...the pasta was delicious, with the mushrooms and tomatoes cooked and spiced to perfection.
