Food was fast and good. Salsa was really hot even thr mild had some spice but the other salsa was . We were pleased. It's not my favorite in the area but still very good. Simple and fast. Ordered at the counter.

Traveling out of town and seen this spot down the street from my friends house. Came in for taco Tuesday. Got the 2 taco special with some chips and salsa. Was very tasty with a few different salsas from hot to mild. The staff was very friendly and the location was very clean. Will for sure stop by again when in town.

Idk how this place isn't a 5 out of 5 Best street tacos I've had in the US. Beans and rice are amazing too. You can't beat this. Great Mexican food! Wanna come back to try the rest of the menu

We stopped in for a late lunch (2 pm)and there was only one other person dining, but shortly after we ordered several other people came in too. Our food arrived quickly and the salsa bar was fully stocked. My beef taco was great and I was glad that it was a crunchy shell, I mean sometimes you just want that satisfying crunch! I also enjoyed the cheese enchilada and the refried beans. The rice was meh. My husband enjoyed his carne asada soft tacos, but I saw him eyeing my crunchy one too! He especially liked the salsa and condiments bar, which really is his thing. All in all I recommend Senor Taco on Shea. Clean, quick and simple good food.

We tried this location since we were very hungry and it was nearby. It is located in a strip mall area adjacent to the Circle K. Parking is limited due to the gas station. When you walk in, you must walk to the back to order at the counter and pay. They will bring the food out to you when it's ready. As far as value, the prices seemed a bit high for what I'm used to. They have beer on ice at the counter and a variety of food choices on their menu. I ordered the shrimp enchilada. They were different than I was expecting and consisted of cheese enchilada with grilled shrimp and salsa on top. There was a side of ranch-style sour cream as well. They have a salsa bar if you want to add a bit more flavor. I'm a bit of a wimp regarding spicy stuff, so I enjoyed the tomatillo green salsa best and of course added the fresh limes as well. I would likely stop by again if in the area.

Would have been 5 stars except they would not honor the 10% discount for Yelp check in. They said that the burrito was already on special so the discount can't be used. This time I tried the Diablo shrimp burrito. It was nice and spicy with a fresh made warm tortilla. Nice Salsa bar wiith a good variety of choices. The food here has always been good. It's not an elegant type place. It is very casual. Better than any fast food place

Horrible! Nothing authentic about this place. The beans taste like there from a can. Gross! Taco and tostadas were soggy.

I point this out because some places don't have that authentic feel when they describe their location as "authentic" We were greeted immediately by the hostess who was extremely kind. When he asked where we wanted to sit, we opted for the patio. It looks like an enclosed patio from the front but it was so nice inside of it. The back portion is open for the fresh air. It was a semi chilly morning so they did have heaters out and the hostess said if we wanted we could have the closest to us turned on. But we didn't because they had one above our table that made the patio environment so pleasant. Daniella, our server, immediately brought chips and salsas and water to our table. 3 different styles, guacamole, mild, and spicy. My favorite were the guacamole and the mild. Tasted fresh and flavorful. The chips were really good and tasted so fresh. *tip - ask for a spoon if you want to add salsa on your food later as one is not offered. We ordered the green chili relleno con pollo with rice and beans and the carne asada tacos with rice and beans. My order was the carne asada tacos, the tacos come wrapped which was nice to keep them warm. When I opened one up it had a larger amount of onions than expected and not so much carne asada. Which was a disappointment. So basically eating tortilla with onion and a sprinkle of meat. I could only eat one. My rice was crisper than my friend's rice, almost like it sat under the warmer too long. Disappointing. Now my beans, those were delicious. My friend said the food was good, the relleno was not stuffed (which is usually how they usually come) and it was just sliced open and laid on top of the chicken. But the black beans on the plate my friend really enjoyed. And the rice on my friend's plate was not crispy and looked like it was freshly made. Our servings of rice were definitely not from the same pot/pan. The environment was nice, our server was ok, she got busy as more people started to come, and the food was good enough but for what I paid for my plate ($20) I'd rather not have crispy rice. It's a nice place and I will go and try it again. Hopefully my food will be better.

It's the kind of locally owned place that has a lot of character. Our waiter recommended the avocado dip and chips, which ended up being one of the best things we ordered. The portion was generous, fresh, and perfect for sharing. We also split the $19 bread board, which is similar to Postino's concept with four breads and different toppings. The hummus was easily our favorite, followed by the BLT. Unfortunately, the salmon and caper spread had a strong odor and tasted off, so none of us enjoyed it. The drinks were good--our friends enjoyed a coconut cocktail while we opted for wine. Overall, I'd give Sofritas 3/5 stars. The atmosphere, drinks, and avocado dip were enjoyable, but the bread board was hit-or-miss for our group.

The guac has little chopped tomatoes, cotija cheese and pumpkin seeds. The salsa is perfect. The chips and thick and crunchy and perfectly salted, everything was delicious. We also got the potato wedges with savory mustard aioli. So tasty. The potatoes cooked perfectly. I got the ginger soda which was refreshing. Husband got the sangria. We sat on the cute shady patio. Everything was amazing 10/10.
