Use to eat here A LOT. But took a break..... came and got the BREAKFAST HASH BROWN BURRITO this morning and I have forgotten what I was missing! Oh my gosh...... one of the best breakfast burritos ever. My pictures don't do it justice. It has everything you could possibly want it in. Sausage, crispy ass bacon, eggs, cheese, creama, and of course a crispy perfectly cooked hash brown- one of the best tortillas anywhere. PERFECTION! I think this place is great to get burritos. The California surfin is what I usually get, but I've tried the fish, the California and one of the breakfast ones and they were all good. Prices are reasonable for the size of burrito and they have a salsa bar as well. read more

This was a big disappointment. I got a carnitas burrito and honestly the flavors were good but my burrito was filled with huge chunks of fat. It was so bad that I had to open up my burrito and pick out piece after piece before I could eat my food. I'd say about 1/3 of the meat was pure fat. It was absolutely disgusting. The other burrito we got wasn't as bad as mine but still had a decent amount of fat. The photos provided are from just my burrito, which shows just how much was in there. I gave it two stars because again the flavors weren't bad, the salsas were actually very good, but serving a burrito with this much fat is simply unacceptable. read more

Fantastic food and service. We LOVE this place. Their chilaquiles are insanely good and have completely ruined all other places for us. We have been coming here for about 6 years or so, starting when we lived in the area. Now, we've moved about an hour away and make the drive to Fountain Hills, for our cravings and definitely worth the drive. Awesome staff and service-all around a great find. I'm from Prescott and came to FH to visit my mom, we ordered Senor Taco because I've had it before and I think it's great. My mom always gets a shredded chicken taco bowl, my mom and I didn't realize it was on their menu anymore and they went out of they're way to make it for her and my mom was very happy and grateful. We ate there recently for the first time. I was curious because there is always a huge line there when I go for coffee at Starbucks next door. It was very good. The interior is no frills kinda place, but sometimes those are places that have some tasty food! The tacos I had were very good- I had two tacos one chicken and the other beef. The ingredients were fresh and prepared well. My hubby enjoyed his burrito as well. The staff was very focused on getting food prepared. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we will return again sometime. read more

I have been to the STs on 87th st Scottsdale and Scottsdale and Pinnacle(Express). I rated both 5 stars. This one serves great food too at low prices. My bean & cheese burrito was huge, very tasty and best bean and cheese burrito I ever had. Congrats ST. The award plaques are well deserved. It also has a busy drive thru. Note: There is also a very busy Starbucks next door. So drive slowly(and carefully) folks to avoid accidents and running over people walking in the lot. Service was excellent by the hardworking staff. The condiment bar is outstanding with delicious fresh salsas, pickled carrots and onions. Highly recommended. Senor Taco achieves 3 for all 5 stars. Well, I don't get to go to Señor taco very often. I do enjoy their breakfast hash brown burrito. It is huge and weighs at least a pound. Most the time I can only eat half and save the rest for the next day. The last time was when I was flying out of town and I cut it in half. I happen to be sitting next to a young boy who appeared to be Alone and he saw me eating my half of a burrito. He was Spanish-speaking not sure where he was going nor did I care and I looked at him and I said in Spanish, are you hungry and his eyes just got huge so I gave him half of my burrito and he inhaled it so now we have two people that say that the burrito is the best. I would love at some point to try their fish tacos and I may do that sometime. Order a parade at any time of the day and it'll be ready in five minutes or less, and the clerk is very efficient and nice read more

When I see carnitas tacos I always order them. Mexico, California and Arizona to name a few. Senor Taco's carnitas are excellent. The first thing I noticed is the juicy texture and lack of any greasy aftertaste. Pile on the Pico de Gallo, Guacamole and finish with your favorite salsa and ice cold cerveza. I just paid $12 for a burrito that was half beans! I measured it, it was 6" in length and looked like a child's portion. They've started putting their burritos in clam shells and camouflaging them with chips to hide how small they are! Tacobell, with all the franchise fees and advertising the owner's have to pay out, does better than this. I understand inflation's gone up, but I can still buy a fully cooked chicken with sides, at most of the local grocery stores for about the same price. I will NEVER go back. read more

This has been our go-to takeout Mexican restaurant forever, and this time we needed to order for pickup. We ordered (thru the app) Fish Tacos, Carnitas fries, a side order Chile Relleno, and a couple of churros. Our food was prepared in the time frame promised, picked up from the drive through window, and was still hot when we got it home. I've been living in Fountain Hills for a year the first month I was out here I visited Señor taco. I was told great things about it from the locals and I can say the food was "OK" a year later going to both of the locations here and Fountain Hills I can say that it definitely does not live up to the hype. The food is very subpar, bland, quick, and not worth the price. I've had better food off off Uber Eats 10 miles away that was located in Mesa Fuego Mexican Food (Eh Guey Birria Y Tacos) both of these Mexican food places sell the same thing however definitely different prices and different quality and food and this is coming from somewhere 10 miles away, However in Fountain Hills Filiberto's ranks higher than the Senior taco. Maybe in the past when they were first open the quality of food was really great but now I can't see that being a possibility. I ordered one of the chicken chipotle burritos it's extremely oily and has a whole bunch of pre-cut chicken in there and the taste was worth the price. I don't think that their prices match the quality of food that they serve if you truly want great Mexican food. I don't recommend Señor Taco they base their quality of food on location and accessibility. No hate on the employees they are very nice and dealing with the cards they are handed. I think maybe they need to take a look at what they're providing for the customers at the prices that they have it and reevaluate. read more

The food is good overall. Today I had the Diablo Shrimp burrito and my mom had the carne asada quesadilla. She loves the quesadilla and always has leftovers from it. My burrito tasted good, I just personally wish there was some more vegetables inside of it (I think some of the other burritos have that and I will look towards them next time). Very good food! My son and I stopped in for lunch after a round of disc golf and had our famished tummies happily filled. My son ordered a plate of two chipotle fish tacos and I ordered the plate of a shrimp burrito and two rolled fish tacos. My son's tacos looked great and he said they tasted great. He did wipe a little of the sour cream off and said that it was a bit too much. He wolfed it down, though, and said he'd like to return to try their other menu items. As for me, the shrimp burrito was HUGE. They did not skimp on the shrimp, either. It was filled with shrimp, rice, sour cream and some other things. It was really tasty. I think the tortilla was freshly made. I ate 3/4 of it and on of the rolled fish tacos, basically a fish taquito, so I had some left over burrito and another rolled fish taco for eating at suppertime. There is a salsa bar and we tried the Diablo salsa, which was flavorful but not that hot, and the tomatillo salsa. The tomatillo was the best I've ever tried. Most tomatillo salsas are flavorless to me, but this one was flavorful and I enjoyed it on bites of my burrito. We both had horchata, it is is delicious. I love señor taco. The one on the west side, in surprise. This one isn't quite as good. The salsas at the salsa bar were missing spoons and tongs. Some of the choices were never refilled and empty. Such as the hot carrots and onions with serranos. I had tacos this time. One with shredded beef and one with shredded chicken. The beef was pretty good but I'd never order the chicken again. Also, the señor taco in surprise sprinkle Mexican cheese on the chips. I wish this one did. Anyway. I'll be back to try my favorite señor taco item, carne asada burrito!! read more

ZERO stars!!! Can't post zero stars or I would have. This place was recommended to me by a friend. I ordered two shrimp tacos and guacamole. The tacos came with their white sauce which happens to be mayonnaise . The guacamole is nothing more than puréed overripe avocados BLENDED in lemon juice and salt. The whole meal cost me $18.75 and was absolutely disgusting! To top off the disgusting meal, when I called to inquire about my order, the manager told me I didn't know what I was talking about because I don't know about Mexican food. I have lived in Mexico and I absolutely know what I'm talking about when it comes to Mexican food. She was rude and disrespectful, and clearly didn't give one iota. Trying out a fast food restaurant like this was a stretch for me but I decided it was worth a try. Big mistake!!! Ate here 11/19/23 at 3pm. Wish I knew the guys name that was running the drive thru. He was really polite, helpful, and had excellent customer service skills. The food was excellent I was really surprised actually. I just had refried beans and cheese cuz I wasn't super hungry but holy s*^% they were amazing haha. I know it's so simple but I've had a lot of refried beans from places and these were so good and cheesy. My husband had a chicken quesadilla.
