This restaurant has a huge menu and so far everything we've had has been absolutely fantastic. I purposely ordered the Ground Beef Burrito again, to ensure it had the same huge amount of Ground Beef as the first one. They did not disappoint. This is by far the largest ground beef burrito I have found in the greater Phoenix area. Being from the Midwest, and retiring here I had to work hard to find ground beef burritos anywhere as everyone here prefers steak. I was always lower middle class, and we could not afford steak, therefore my lifelong obsession with ground beef. So not only was Ajo Al's a fine Mexican restaurant, it is a fine Mexican Restaurant with a glorious, delicious, massive portion of "Ground Beef." My wife had a chicken burrito, which was equally massively filled with chicken. She could barely eat half of hers along with our chips and salsa and Polo Con queso appetizer. After eating as much as we comfortably could. We decided we had just experienced by far the best Mexican Restaurant that exists in the greater Phoenix area. This is our now "Go To Mexican Restaurant" for all time. Next time you're craving Mexican food don't make the mistake of bypassing this awesome restaurant. Not only is the food plentiful and absolutely delicious, but the Resteraunt is adequately staffed evidenced by the very short wait time for the delivery of our appetizers and meal.
