Wow. If only there were 10 stars. This is by far THE best Mexican food I have ever had. It was fresh and delicious. I live in miami and I'm saddened because there isn't a Mr.Tequilas here. Not a Fan at all! All I wanted was to sit outside, have a yummy frozen margarita and some nachos n salsa. Well I should've went elsewhere. The $7.99 Cadillac margarita was tasteless and very unsatisfying.The chips were not fresh and the salsa seemed to be made of old tomatoes. So foolishly I though a menu item might be better. Wrong! Veggie Fajitas were made with frozen vegetables. No lie. I bit into a steaming veggie to find a frozen center. The rice and beans were good and the guacamole was acceptable. Completely unsatisfied I decided to give them 1 more chance or to at least drown my disappointment in tequila, I ordered their lime house margarita. Well that sealed the deal for this bad review! It tasted horrible! I couldn't drink it! I did tell the server about the bad margarita but I now wish I would've spoke to the manager about the poor food quality as well. Ordered takeout from here. Having never before eaten at this establishment there was a bit of a stickershock. The prices are high, but the food is very good. The spices are what sets this place apart.This won't be one of my regular places because of the cost, but when I am in the mood to splurge on pretty good mexican food, we will be back. read more

My co-worker and I decided to stop here for food and we were blown away. The meal was reasonably sized and tasted amazing. This for coming in at the last minutes of it being open is incredible. Time out was quick and plating was on par. I do give much respect to the staff as when we were there they were dealing with a rather disgruntled customer who's requests seemed rather upscale for the manner of food he requested. However no matter how unfavorable the customer was even to making rather racially discriminatory comments to the on duty manager, she and her staff handled the situation respectfully. The food is ok although I will say the first time I went I had the caldo de res and it was delicious and quite a large portion. The service is a bit slow which is why I don't frequent too often. The portions of all the dinner combos are quite large which is nice. read more

Ambiance is nice, but prices were higher than I would expect for Mexican food and the food was so so. I grew up in Southern California, so maybe my standards are high or just different. The chips seemed purchased, not made in house, but the salsa was fresh and one had a nice heat and flavor. The guacamole was not impressive - seemed to be made with avocados and something else - sour cream or some filler. The ceviche tostada was good sized, but was just ok flavorwise. Service was nice, but a bit on the slow side. Also happy hour did not have any food specials and their beer specials didn't include any Mexican beers, only Bud products which was a bummer. Other tabled did seem to enjoy their margaritas. There are some other options in town that offer a more diverse menu, better quality, and better prices. read more

I am a very honest reviewer. This place is priced as a 5 star mexican restaurant $18 for 2 fish tacos, but they were the worst tacos ive had. The fish was basically fish sticks in between two tortillas. Save your money and go somewhere else, trust me, if you know good mexican you will not enjoy this place. read more

We went on a Monday night, caught the tail end of happy hour (3-7pm) and the house margaritas were tasty BOGO! For dinner we ordered the Chipotle Enchiladas and Chicken Fajitas. Both came out in a short time. The Chipotle Enchiladas were fully of flavor and the plate was cleaned! I had the fajitas and they were perfect! The chips and pico were the highlight of the meal and the rest was downhill from there. Very expensive for what you get, although the portions were good size. Just didn't get great flavor in two of the three entrees (arroz con pollo and chimichanga) while the enchiladas suizas were good. We won't go back anytime soon. read more

Food is ok salsa is good, but be very very careful when ordering drinks.We ordered what we thought were regular margaritas. However, what we thought was a regular "gold margarita" and one with an extra shot of tequila were approximately $19.00 each. We paid $129.51 for a dinner for 4 before tip. We had 2 beers, 2 margaritas,1 appetizer and three dinners. Are you kidding me for Mexican Food !! We are new to the area and tried Senor Tequila's because of a coupon in the Naples Daily News. I unfortunately left the coupon at home and they refused to honor it. Not a good business decision in my book. Their lunches are definitely worth it! By no means am I a Mexican food connoisseur, but man do i love their food! They have a wide variety of dishes. The salsa was on the spicy side but it's definitely really good. I've never dined in so I can't say much about the service but every time I've put an order to go, they've been more than friendly! Overpriced crap. The plate came out hot but the food did not. Enchiladas were barely warm and had nothing inside except chicken. They put lettuce and sour cream on the side but was very bland. The rice was ok but the beans had a very weird taste to them. To top it all off, it was $15.50 for 2 small bland enchiladas. Wouldn't recommend. There's a lot of better tasting Spanish food for a much more reasonable price. How on earth someone can charge those prices for such bad quality meals is beyond explanation. read more

I found the portions small and the price high for a "combo" (which should be MORE, not less) and most other things on menu seemed same of high price small portions. Food was good! Ordered combo steak and shrimp fajitas and carnitas bravos. Service was just okay. Joel was our server. He came by to check on us once after we received our food. I love Señor Tequila's. Did you know the furniture was imported from Mexico and the paintings on the walls are of the owners family back in Mexico? Pretty Cool! The atmosphere is great. So are the chips and salsa bar. However, everything else that we ate was so salty! There is no reason why refried beans should be this salty. Also, I had chili rellenos and while the chili pepper itself was good, again, the filling was so salty that it distracted from the taste of the pepper. The best service I have had in a very long time. We ordered fajitas for two and my WORD the portions are huge. The food was absolutely delicious, the portions lasted us two meals (had the left overs for lunch the following day), and the service was spectacular. Wait staff has changed but is better and friendlier. I got the chimichangas . One shredded beef and one chicken. I liked the chicken way better. I've never cared for the rice or refried beans. They taste flat and unflavored but my 2 year old likes him. My husband had the menudo soup and he liked it a lot. But he didn't care for the tortillas that came with them. Also I miss the other chips you would get when you first sat down. The new ones taste like an off brand of tostitos. If you do go you must try the queso dip it is really good but eat it fast because once it starts to cool it gets very thick and not dippable. read more

First of all ...this is the worst Mexican I have had and I just moved from Virginia but have lived around the country. . There are servers who don't speak Spanish or English ( Russian) so very hard to get what u order. The food tasted ok but I paid 70 dollars for my meal , my fiancés meal , two beers , a margarita and a cheese dip appetizer. By the way ,..I asked what the drink specials were and the waitress told me a specific margarita ....well I thought it was a special ....like a deal ...apparently not .....it was 13.00 for a margarita that was terrible (took me the whole dinner to drink it ) and was priced almost the same amount as my dinner was. This same thing happened to me a few months ago! I gave this place the benefit of the doubt but again they fell subpar. I will drive the long drive to the place off 41!!! Never again !!!! Just went there for lunch . What a horrible experience. Ordered the lunch special for 9 dollars. The food was as well as dissappointing as the service. Ordered taco with enchilada. The beef was from the can. It Was so disquisting that I felt like throwing up all day. The food was tasteless and I will never put my foot down in that joint.
