I had been looking and talking with different companies for almost two weeks when I came across Anish from Sen's. I appreciated that he was able to give me a firm quote the same day. We were able to make sure we were on the same page with what I needed done and expectations. He even said they could get started immediately with the sprinkler system...it was about an hour later they came back with materials and tools to start. The job was close to 4,000 square feet to lay sod as well as almost 400 square feet of decomposed granite and a drip system to our planters. We did have an issue with the sprinkler timer box as our brand new house was not wired for enough stations. Anish was able to take care of all of my concerns and have a beautiful new lawn to go with our brand new house in 6 days. He and. I had a very positive experience with Sen. My irrigation and drip system was a complete mess and parts were not working, so I needed someone to help me make sense of it all. I found Sen on Craigslist and he came out the next day to diagnose the issue. Once we figured out what needed to be done, he was available to do the work that day. Ultimately, it was a big job so he had to come back 2 days later to finish, but everything is now in tip top shape and most importantly, I now understand the complicated irrigation system. Fast, Fair prices and quality work. I called on Monday and had an appointment for Friday. He works fast and called me Thursday asking if he can look a day sooner. After walking through the items needing to be done, we agreed on a fair price and he asked if he could begin working that same evening. Yes! Unbeknownst to us, our pool fill valve had been leaking for some time resulting in a huge water bill. We called Sen's Landscaping on Saturday and Anish and crew came out the next day and replaced 4 broken valves, programmed sprinkler system, and installed pathway lighting. I gave him many second chances but he made my sprinkler system worse. - Several no shows and I had to call to reschedule. - Replaced two sprinkler valves...which now leak. Returned to fix it but they both still leak. - After "completing the job", all sprinklers came on at the same time and could not be controlled with the main controller. After he returned and assured me everything was fixed, I just checked and my drip system is now running continuously and one of my sprinkler heads isn't working. I've got someone else coming on Friday to fix this after I've paid him around $700 bucks so far. I'm done with this guy. Read the one star reviews...they are accurate. read more

Very Poor.. Service - Save your money! This company will rip you off and do a TERRIBLE job. I have a house in Elk Grove. He charged me money/fee at upfront to start the service that he agreed to spray weed/grass killer in backyard, cut tree branches since leaves were falling in the pool and mow grass at front. All he did mow the grass and nothing else was done. Then, the following month he never showed up to maintain the landscape. We called him several times and left him a VM, no call back. Be aware of it - It appears to be he makes money by charging customers upfront startup service fee or in advance. Do not pay until you verify his work in person. read more

Hands down one of the WORSE contractor experiences I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. This guy NEVER showed up on time. Charged me for sprinklers he never installed, left my property a muddy mess, broke my lawn perimeter wire, among other destruction to my property. He completely no-showed to finish his shoddy work and clean up my property, then refused to answer my call. I ended up paying an ACTUAL professional to fix his mess. He then pops up on my property UNANNOUNCED, like he just didn't dissappear leaving my property a mess. I asked him to stop and explain what happened. He began to act inconvenienced, said he "f'd up and his bad" bit he had other jobs. Then proceeds to dig and turn on sprinklers when he CLEARLY sees that I have untreated lumber covered in tarp to protect it from the elements on the lawn. The lumber gets soaked, more mud gets tracked all over my property. He still can't finish his work, then promised to arrive at 7am the next morning to complete the job. Of course, he shows up late again, with two more dudes and completely RUSHES a half done job. My fence is till down, I have leaning, sprinklers that still haven't been touched, leaning and poorly functioning. I explained to him that it's clear he's in a hurry, as he mentioned he stopped by to finish this job on the way to an estimate in El Dorado hills. I told him he doesn't have to half fix the sprinkler he's currently working on, and we can talk about what's fair to settle out the remaining balance. He starts crying about "just keep the money, u should have been honest that you weren't gonna pay". Completely irrational. I told him I never said I wouldn't pay, but I surely won't pay for sprinklers you never replaced in addition to the cost I had to pay to have a real pro come and fix his messes. He stops talking walks out and states he's gonna call the cops! I told him don't bother because I'll do it. He wastes his time, and the officers time and accepts $100 less of what was owed. He charged me $120 for materials he never used, and had me out another $150 to get someone here to fo his job. Times are hard for everyone ESPECIALLY business owners. Called Sens Landscaping to have our sprinkler system fixed and moved inside the fence line. They came out on short notice and worked until nightfall to get the job done. They were diligent, very hardworking, and also willing to negotiate a fair price, which I really appreciated. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because they left large mud spatters in several places (and very high up) on our brand new fence, and we also had to spend a lot of time cleaning up the sidewalk after they left. read more

7/30/2020 Anish left job sprinkler repair incomplete, constantly late, and lies about completing the job. I have texts and pictures: I will upload them later when I have time. Let's start from beginning. He quotes repairing my sprinklers for $600 in one day, I agreed. Then he wanted $200 for supplies and I gave it to him. He left to Home Depot and texted asking for $800. I called him and we agreed to $700. Needless to say, he did not finish in one day. He said he would come the next morning, then in the morning he said he will come in the afternoon... he came at 7:30pm. Didn't finish, said he will come back the next morning. Didn't show up then finally talked to him in the afternoon and he said he will come after the weekend. Monday morning Anish shows up and we go through everything that needs to be finished. After working on it, Anish tells me that he's finished and he has another deck job in downtown to go to so we take a quick look. I ask him he will come back if there are any issues and he said he would. After he leaves, I run my sprinkler system and go inside assuming everything works. When I go outside to take a closer look at everything, I noticed that Anish did not cover holes and trenches, left a bunch of broken sprinkler debris, did not adjust sprinkler heads properly, did not cap a couple sprinklers correctly. I was willing to let some things slide so I called Anish to help fix a couple of the caps and look at a couple of the spinkler heads. Anish picked up the phone and said he would come in the morning, he never showed up. Anish, if you are reading this, I don't appreciate you constantly lying to me and doing such a poor job. I was hoping I could hire someone and pay them a reasonable amount to do a job correctly. There are far more options, I don't recommend Anish. read more
