Awesome place to eat! I always get the enticer and it never disappoints! You can make your sandwich any way you want. Plus I like all the cool pics hanging on the wall. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Only thing I don't like is the fact I don't live closer to it. read more

Since 2012 review. Not a great deal has changed. New location has nice decor but is located by Army surplus store. Parking at both locations not ideal. Great bread, sandwiches are okay, except Spicy Enticer is excellent. Fun contest for anyone willing to eat a 24 inch sub. Salads are horrible. Sensuous clientele is loyal, but there are and soon will be better options in Utah county. read more

Great sandwich - way better than Subway. My only complaint is they aren't wrapped very much so I spilled a ton of toppings when I opened it...but don't worry I ate every single bit that fell on my lap or the table. Sorry about everything that was on the floor. :( read more

The restaurant was not open when we got there on a Sunday. Yelp said it was open. This needs to be fixed. I have no idea if the restaurant is any good or not, regrettably. read more

Very underwhelming. Not a bad sandwich, but definitely not great. Try Zubs or Firehouse instead. Much better alternatives in my opinion.

From the outside appearance you shouldn't be expecting a fine dining experience, but the food is good enough for the price that it is definitely a place worth checking out. I love the spicy enticer sandwich, but they a variety of options. The meat is great, but the vegetables can sometimes be less than stellar. The people that work there are nice and helpful, and if you're lucky, they'll play great music. It's a good price for a decent sandwich, but it is something that won't necessarily amaze you. Sandwiches here are very very sub-par. Bad bread, filling is no good. This is the kind of place you order from because it is cheap and they have a massively long sandwich you can order for a ward activity or something else where you need to feed a crowd on a budget. Wanting to try a sandwhich shop that is not subway, I saw this little shop. The place looks small but the inside is long. The walls and place remind of mom and pop shops from the 80's. The staff is super friendly. And the food...you get to pick how long and what type of sandwhich you want from 4 inches to 24 inches. The bread was soft and fresh, the meat was a plenty. I got the beef dip type sandwhich and had to get one to go for later. From the welcoming staff to amazing food I highly suggest this place. read more

I used to visit this sandwich shop pretty regularly, They always had a good selection and pretty good prices. Last time I ordered here, I was greeted with a giant pubic hair in my turkey sandwich and needless to say I have not been back since and don't have much motivation to go back. read more

This place is always hit or miss. Sometimes the sandwiches are great, and sometimes I wish I just drove up to Ernies sports deli. Employees have always been nice, but the environment isn't super appealing...It's in need of an update badly. read more

The bread is not great the sandwiches is not put together that while. Yes and toasted they just heated up in the microwave. Looks very rundown needs a little bit of a make up. But it is nice and cheap for pricing. read more

I'm surprised at all of these positive reviews. I stopped here on my first trip to Provo (after moving to SLC almost two years ago) with my mother who was visiting from out of state. We were both sorely disappointed. In fact, I thought this might be the worst food I've had so far since moving to Utah. (And that's saying a lot as I generally find the food here to be mediocre.) I got the "Satisfier" (chicken breast with pepper jack). I left anything but satisfied. The roll had no flavor and was too soft - so soft that it literally fell apart while eating. Hoagie/sub rolls need some amount of heft to them and are not to be devoid of flavor. The sandwich would have been better on some Wonder Bread - it would have at least held together. The cheese and meat were fine, but nothing to write home about. The lettuce was bargain iceberg shredded lettuce, was soggy, and tasted like it had been sharing a surface with onions for quite awhile. (I did not order any onions on my sandwich, for the record.) My mother got a "salad". Now, a salad here is not actually a salad. It was simply a deconstructed hoagie. The lettuce was soggy and flavorless. The meat and cheese were again passable, but when you order a salad you might expect to have some kind of a crunch or flavor from the base greens in that salad. Not so with this place. How you can just throw the insides of a sandwich in a Styrofoam container and call it a "salad" is beyond me. Now, mind you, I am originally from the Greater Philadelphia area where you can get a solid hoagie from your local Wawa for less than $5. My standards for sandwiches might be a little higher than out here in the Mountain West. But, I don't consider myself a food snob and I am generally a big fan of sandwiches. I mean - really, it's bread and limitless options for fillings...what's not to like? I'd recommend anyone who actually enjoys eating sandwiches to steer clear of Sensuous Sandwich. Surely there has got to be a more satisfying lunch experience elsewhere in Provo. read more

I love this place! Don't come here if you are expecting fancy, pretty, subs. This place is gritty ,basic fare. The sandwiches come in a plain paper sack that doubles as the order checklist. But, their food is delicious! read more

This is a nice, chill sandwich shop. I go here when I don't need anything all fancied up, no exotic sauces or experimental combinations, no vegetables I've never heard of, just tasty subs. I come here when I could just use some time to kick back with friends and enjoy a straight up, American-style submarine sandwich. You can order by the inch, so no matter how hungry you are, rest assured you'll find something. If you find yourself in the mood to go out and prove your carnivorous prowess, you can tackle the 24 incher sub. If you can finish it in under a half hour you get your photo taken for the wall of fame, and also receive a T-shirt that entitles you to free drinks whenever you go there. Prices are reasonable at about 5 or 6 dollars for a medium size sandwich and a drink. To top it off, all of the tables have comics all over them! Under plastic, of course, to avoid inevitable sauce-splashing. So even if you're there all by yourself for lunch or whatever, you'll be plenty entertained. I think it's a good date place - chill, casual, and with plenty of conversation starters. In fact, my very first kiss resulted directly from a olive and cream cheese sandwich purchased here. (Um, long story.) So anyway, yeah, give em a try. read more

I don't usually give one star reviews, but when you earn it I gotta be honest. I ordered a sandwich not a salad and when I reached into my bag all I pulled out was a handful of lettuce. It was very poorly made, ingredients just thrown on the bun like they gave up half way through. The quality wasn't very good and I had to eat it with a fork because it kept falling apart. I'd always been curious about this place, but luckily I found out that I don't need to go back again. Try somewhere else. P.S. The fart and sex comics/posters on the wall didn't really do it for me either. Not very tasteful I thought. read more

One the one hand, their food is absolutely wonderful. It is a wonderful New-York-style deli. The veggies are always fresh and the bread soft. The sandwiches are highly customizable, and available with all sorts of delicious meats. Here are my two complaints: 1) When ordering your sandwich it's hard to tell which options cost extra, so you never know what it will cost until they ring you up. 2) The place is a dump. The floor is bumpy and the tables and chairs are bent and sagging. The tables are sometimes sticky too. Other then that - the food is great and I keep going back. I came here on a whim. I'm fond of sandwich shops, they tend to have a lot of personality and I've been to a lot of different chains: Gandolfo's, Red Deli, Firehouse, Subway, Potbelly's, Which Wich. The shop here doesn't disappoint personality-wise: interesting, hip decor and upbeat music. Love the newspaper cartoons as part of the table setups. Sensuous also scores points for having a variety of sizes in sandwiches: 4",6",8",10",12",16",24" with respective prices. Their bread was also noteworthy; I actually noticed how soft and fluffy it was, where typically I just overlook it. However, the variety of sandwiches is rather average. Its setup is similar to Subway and Which Wich, where you choose a meat/cheese base and add your veggies, but the meats are, from what I could tell, your basic/standard cold cuts, and all the bases are just that: cold cuts and cheese. I didn't see any bases with avocado or speciality meats, for example. Another bummer was that there are only four types of cheese: American, jack, Swiss, and Cream Cheese. No pepperjack or cheddar. The sandwich I ordered was fine. It was their most popular item and the namesake of the store. But it was a stereotypical/average sandwich, aside from the bread which I mentioned earlier. Yes, it was something I customized, but the options available were not as varied as other shops I've been to. Ultimately, I had hoped for base or topping options that would set apart Sensuous as a unique shop rather than a run-of-the-mill. Personality in the store atmosphere helps, but ultimately what will bring me back to a shop (and not back to this one) is whether its food is above the average; its combinations are, if not unique, then at least have a wide variety in flavor and style; and I can get or do something (Red Deli's House honey-mustard; Gandolfo's cheese fries; Bianca's Kro-Nuts; even just the general sharpie-your-own-bag experience at Which-Wich) that sets it apart from a sandwich made at home and other sandwich shops. Unfortunately, Sensuous Sandwich checks none of these boxes for its most popular sandwich option, so while it was an okay and overall neutral experience, I don't have a reason to be coming back. read more
