After we all had trouble finding the correct protocol for the manufacturer warranty they very kindly offered to let me swap it out for the 8in1 at no extra cost. That was a huge upgrade that honestly has made my life better. I was so touched by their kindness. The 8in1 works great too! It is so quiet and has so many great attachments. The diffuser left my curls looking amazingly frizz free.

This location is tiny. It explains why when I look online to do a bopis they never have anything in…read morestock. I finally went in to have a root touchup and tape ins moved up. I had an appt and still waited 30 mins for my stylist. It was my first time there because I go to another Ulta stylist in another state, but my hair had grown out too much. I had a stylist assigned with the initials MM, I won't put her full name out there, because she did me WRONG! She yanked the hell out of my hair. I kept telling her it hurt, and she'd spray more alcohol in it without letting it soak, and yanked it some more. I told her before she started that my scalp is super sensitive and 45 minutes for a root touch up is way too long to sit to process. No acknowledgement. Then, she left my color in for almost an hour while she washed, dried and styled some other employee's hair. When she blowed out my hair she put in volume mousse with alcohol in it before taping my extensions back in. Once my hair was dried I told her where the placement normally is and not to be too high, especially since I wear glasses sometimes. She did Her, not what I asked, and went at it. My extensions were literally sitting on the top right and left sides of my head between the crown and my temple. Ugh. It was impossible to hide them if a hair fell out of place. When I got back to my regular stylist she was like that lady in Texas did you duurrttyy, the placement was soooo bad. She couldn't stop laughing. I had paid $200 and had them removed 10 days later. PS. One had already fallen out on day 3 when I washed my hair. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!! Maybe extensions aren't her thing and she only had the in house 1 week training and follow up. I could've placed them just as poorly myself without having to had spent money moving up four sandwiches. It wasn't an intense install. My hair is cut to my shoulders. Just needed to put few pieces in because I don't bleach my hair for highlights. Never again. Drive to the Ulta in Frisco near Stonebriar. Their extension girl there yanks your hair out too, but at least she knows what she's doing.

When I checked out, I let them know and the girl was like awe sorry, as she was charging my card.

Unfortunately, I had an emergency situation that came up and didn't show up for my appointment. I received a phone call letting me know that the salon would not refund my credit card for the $185.00. I was told that they would only refund $45.00. I will NEVER go back to them and will definitely spread the word to friends and people who live in Watters Creek and surrounding areas in Allen TX. In all my years of going to salons, not ONE had a policy to ask for payment before the procedure was done much less not refund the money.

They maintain pretty busy but even then when I needed help I just asked and someone is always able to help out or asked me to wait a moment while they finished up with another customer. As far as returns, I've never had an issue returning items I didn't like. Store is clean and their merchandise stock is usually good given the circumstances we are currently living in. I will say I've never tried the hair salon so I can't comment on that. Sorry maybe I just see the world differently. I could find a million plus reasons to complain but I chose to wear different eye glasses if you know what I mean :) Thankful to have an Ulta nearby

Yesterday I had the WORST hair service of my life. The stylist was told to do a blonde full foil…read moreand I left with orange/brown roots and green ends. I've never been so upset. She didn't process the top long enough but put a toner on to cover her errors, a toner that was left on far too long and turned my hair dark. I was mortified. The manager was apathetic and didn't address that the stylist messed up. The stylist kept saying "she agreed on the toner color." Yes I agreed to toner but didn't agree to orange highlights and toner all over, and left on too long. Deeply upset. On top it this, the stylist was incredibly rough and left my scalp in pain. I will never go back to this location for any reason ever again. Now I have to spend a lot of money to get a blonde specialist to fix all these errors.
