The staff are always welcoming and there is plenty to peruse while you await your order (the flower essences are made on demand upon arrival). If you re-use your glass bottle and dropper you get a refill discount. From baby needs, locally made bitters, in house made tinctures and makeup, to eco conscious feminine hygiene products this store has something for everyone on your shopping list. They also have lots of great books, sweet grass & sages to smudge, and classes before. Offerings I've been tempted to attend include making my own lotions, as well as a course on making tinctures. Beautiful welcoming woman owned business. I highly recommend you visit, snag a cup of tea, and take it all in.

Falling back on the ol' trusty 3 stars seems somehow wrong, but I guess there's no more accurate way to do it. Here are my plusses and minuses: + My favorite body lotion comes from here - it's the only one I use. Satsuma Body Butter. Smells fantastic and citrusy, not perfumey at all (perfume gives me headaches) and doesn't linger all over my hands and make it impossible for me to open doors. It both moisturizes AND soaks in. - It costs like $20 for this tiny little tub. And since I use it mostly as a massage lotion, that little tub doesn't go very far. + The Body Shop doesn't use animal testing and supports community trade, so I can feel good buying their products. - For some reason they make all their employees wear at least... 5?... 6?... uh, I think 5, visible makeup items, or at least they did last time a friend of mine worked there, which pretty much guarantees all their employees look like trollops. I am not of the old fashioned view that ladies who paint their faces are common whores, but 5 visible articles is way, way too much... and it does nothing to convince me that their makeup might look good on me. + They have frequent sales. - Their sales are always on stuff nobody wants. For example, they just created this new body butter called 'Amber' that seriously smells like old perfumey rocks. Nobody bought it, naturally, so now it's on sale for half off, naturally! + All the employees at this location are genuinely nice and helpful. You can chat with them like friends - they don't have the fakeness that is renowned in Body Shop employees everywhere else.

As soon as I walked in the store I knew I would want to buy everything in every cut, and every color. Everything I tried on fit amazing and felt amazing, although I know I'm going to want to hand wash everything so that might not be super awesome but, all of the clothes are really well-made and the fabric is just so soft. All of the clothing I picked fit me great and then when I went to the counter to check out the woman gave me discounts on everything because I was buying so much. I still spent well over $200 on clothes but I think that the fabric is going to be really great and I'm going to want to wear the clothing all the time. I didn't buy one, but they have a really really really great selection of utility belts leather and otherwise. Utility belts look really cute and they're really well priced. Overall some of the clothes are a tad bit expensive, but everything is really freely and soft and pretty and all the colors go really really well together so you can mix-and-match almost everything in the store. It's also really cool that they sell individual people's goods and local artists crafts. I will be back here many many many times in the future.

It is located in the back and is so cool! An entire Mead bar, complete with flights to try. Every pour was delicious and refreshing. I had forgotten how much I enjoy Mead. The Meadtender was super friendly and cute. I didn't get his name, but he was very personable, explained each Mead and recommended some to try. How fun! Sometimes fun is all you mead.

There was not even a wisp of personal help though I could see people standing around the walls. Perhaps they were security surveillance and not sales? It was too far away to tell and we knew we were in the right department and the products were stacked so haphazardly we felt we could look as well as they might, if we could even get one to come over. We have no intention of. Using again as the online suggestion that this store had the brand we wanted was out of date or just wrong. If you are intending to browse on a whim in the past you might find something you like. But know that Target has much more personal help with the friendliest people and their online stock status is much more reliable.

That being said, it is a real shame they have not followed the lead of a major national competitor and removed the sale of cigarettes from their supposed health oriented business plan. They have filled all three levels of this former bookstore facility. The basement level is the vitamin, supplements, first aid and quasi medical supplies that you would find in other chains, offering both national brands and private store brands. Plenty of sizes available which seems to be a failing of the big groceries and discount box stores. There is no prescription pharmacy at this location. Being adjacent to campus, they are serving a population that generally receives University healthcare which includes their own, and very affordable pharmacy. The main level still sells CU gear as before along with school supplies, tech accessories and gift items. There is a grocery section including refrigerated and freezer cases of convenience foods. The upper mezzanine level includes beauty, personal care and household cleaning supplies. On opening day, there was plenty of staff and checkouts on the main floor and the mezzanine. I doubt they will maintain so much staff unless they attract a larger number of customers. The prices are higher than you would find at a destination big box but if you sign up for rewards membership, it becomes far more competitive. This is true of all such health chains. Today my member savings was over $8. Get rid of the cigarettes and I will go up a star!

Parking immediately north of the building, but limited. Easy access from campus via a nearby pedestrian underpass and adjacent to a RTD stop (Broadway & College). Freezer and fridge contains a lot of beverage and food options. Any of your usual needs at a Walgreen's are available, but there is no pharmacy on-site. Clean and very organized. Thankful for Karen, who was so helpful when i was shopping on the top floor.
