Me at the wedding, in pink. Clear arms, full heart, can't lose.

Need to do a major shout out to Amber, the esthetician, and Kayla, the MUA. I came in literally in tears a couple of days before a wedding, worried that I would be the blotchy bridesmaid ruining all the pictures. Amber and Kayla stayed calm and guided me through a billion product recommendations like a skincare SWAT Team. It was incredible. I didn't ruin the wedding and my skin is definitely on the way to looking incredible. Thank you so much ladies!!

I'm pretty surprised at the low star rating for this location. Nonetheless, I had a great experience and found the workers to be very helpful and friendly. I'm visiting the area from out of state and my skincare products were tragically damaged from my trip so I needed my products ASAP! The workers made sure to check to see if they had the products I needed (Laneige) and I was surprised to see their wide selection of products. I feel like other locations are hit or miss in carrying the Laneige line but this one had it all! They offered to give me samples (to last me for my weekend visit) which was very kind of them. I opted to just buy the full products since I needed to restock anyways. Thanks soo much to all the lovely ladies that helped me out. From when I first walked in, to when I checked out and exited, you guys made it a very personable and great experience.

I adore stand-alone, brick and mortar Sephoras. I feel like a kid in a candy store whenever I visit. There's no shortage of makeup, perfume, face, or hair products to try. Each time you visit you are allowed up to three samples. I've been here several times and the staff are typically polite and friendly. Some are hit or miss as far as their ability to match shades are concerned, but that's okay. Last time I visited I had a great visit. The makeup artist recommended I step outside with a mirror she supplied to check my foundation against my skin. Had I not done that I wouldn't have realized I was wearing the wrong shade! Cray! I also love the Sephora brand. So many affordable essentials from tools to makeup. They have the best travel size makeup items in the aisle as you wait to be checked out. My fav part of shopping at Sephora, in addition to the amazing selection, is the VIP beauty awards. You earn points for each dollar you spend and the points accumulate. When you reach certain thresholds you can redeem them for 100, 300, or 500 point rewards. And, you get a cute lil bday gift. Sephora = awesome.

Sephora is one of my mother ships, so when I needed to make a stop nearby, I of course, went here first, as sampling a new brow product superseded my need to have a wonky laptop checked out. I walked in and was almost immediately greeted by a friendly staffer, who offered me assistance, perfect! I just really wanted to sample the Kevyn Aucoin brow pencil, so I just beelined in that direction, and was disappointed that two samplers of the brunette colors were out completely. I went to find the friendly face that greeted me, but encountered two other staffers who just stared at me. Hmm... This immediately struck me as one of those dichotomous locations where some staff are friendly and others are wrapped up in their own conversations. Not the worst, not the best Sephora either. Batting .500 is great for a fantasy team, not the best for a Sephora though So the store is nicely organized, and offers a nice selection, but based on my first visit, I would come here again, but not with high expectations. Still a nice place to sample products, and I overheard a makeover at the studio, and the artist at the station was awesome. I still love this brand and will give it another shot. The beauty insider program has nice perks, so if you're not already a member and come here a lot, definitely recommended. Mini makeovers/ lessons are free with a appt.( TY Sephora!), more in depth makeovers with purchase requirement.

Joanna you are a freaking makeup Goddess! I urged a friend to convert from MAC just once to have out makeup done for the Margarita Ball and this was the closest one to her. I deducted a star because the girl doing my friends makeup was not listening to her at all- we wanted full coverage, hard core drag dramatic make up, we even brought pictures. We had to have a coming to Jesus with her. With that said- my girl, Joanna was amazing. She's super adorable and really knows her makeup. I don't wear a lot of it, but I ended up buying almost everything she used on me. She educated me while she was doing my make up, explaining all the techniques and why she was doing it. Definitely request her, weather you want natural or drag. I really love the selection here. I shift back and forth from MAC only because MAC doesnt have glittery shadows. On my last visit I fell for the Kat Von D line- mega full coverage and super sparkling shadows.

One area that remains the same is the area surrounding the movie theater. I remember my first theater experience here watching the motion picture Aladdin. I'm glad the mall remains open and has kept some of its original charm. Sadly, many malls are having a hard time staying afloat. During my two hour visit, I experienced quite a bit. First I'll start with the least enjoyable parts. When I first walked in, I immediately noticed a woman at the lower-level sports bar and grill wearing a thong and a shirt. Not a short skirt, like her coworker only a thong. It's definitely not what I expected to see after returning for the first time in five years. She quickly moved out of view when she noticed my reaction, but it still left a strong first impression. As I headed up the escalator, I was approached by staff from La Perla handing out menus and trying to guide me into their restaurant. The same thing happened as I walked through the food court. I wouldn't call it a bad experience, but it did feel a bit overwhelming as my first encounter upon entering the upper-level of the mall. From my experience working in a mall, I've noticed food court staff often offer samples, which I think is a more inviting way to attract customers. A small taste can go a long way, when a restaurant wants to acquire new customers and grow their clientele. I read reviews regarding the food court establishments beforehand, and many mentioned rude service, overpriced and subpar food. It would have been nice to try good authentic Mexican cuisine rather than the usual Tex-Mex I tend to eat. I did stop by Mr. Churro, where I enjoyed a cup of ice cream fully loaded with toppings of my choice. Next, while shopping at Burlington and Ross, I noticed loss prevention stationed at the entrances. Having my bag checked and showing my receipt felt a bit uncomfortable, but I understand it's become a common practice to prevent stealing. Another unexpected moment happened while I was shopping. A young toddler suddenly balled up his fist hitting my shopping bag like it was a punching bag. His mother told him to stop but didn't apologize. Later, I saw him hitting his mother repeatedly while she did nothing to correct the behavior, which was uncomfortable to witness. On a more positive note, I really enjoyed the vibrant cultural atmosphere of the plaza. The beautiful quinceañera dresses, crowns, bouquets, and accessories are stunning. The cowboy boots, hats, and western attire also stood out to me. There's a center stage for performances, a creatively designed Dino plaza, and several eye catching displays that make for great photo opportunities. Overall, I had a great time and would come back on a weekday when it's less crowded to enjoy the many food court options and shops.

I tried to purchase the bag, employee asked me three times if that's all I'll purchase, which I responded three times yes, she rang me up, I then i asked nicely could I please have some white paper that they put inside when you complete your purchase, she told me it's only for customers, to which i was surprised it may not be my usual purchase there, but $6 for a gift bag is $6 more for inventory sold, i didn't know that's there was a certain limit I needed to spend to be considered a customer, I left without the bag, I won't be coming back, I ended spending half of what I would spend there, gift bag and paper with way better customer service somewhere else. If you get bothered for a customer only buying a gift bag then don't have them on display as an option to purchase. Negative good noodle stars to you mean lady at the register.

Put a negative sign in front of that 1 star. Prior to going in I had spoken with the supposingly Manager (I won't put her name on blast due to an ongoing issue) about an hour after the store opened and informed her of my issue. She was to contact me right back after doing her research. A little after 4 I called back and was told she had left. Now in diva mode I stated to the woman on the phone of my concern and disappointment than informed her I was seconds way from the store. Arriving I was provided every excuse possible. Waiting in store for this so called Manager to call back on what to do that the key-holder couldn't I totally went into to lock down diva-wood and made a legal contact call for results immediately and that's what this diva got. Left with my new undamaged fragrance....CLUCK and CLUCK!!! SIDEBAR DISCLAIMER: This was the first time that I made a purchase from Perfumania Inc or any place like this other than a major department store retailer. After being referred based upon the department stores discontinuing carrying one of Poppies favorites that he was out of and I wanted to suprise him with for Father's Day. Based upon the scents smelling so orginial and cost I will probably do business with them again. "A few bad apples don't spoil the bunch"...
