I work in town square and frequent this location. The customer service at this location is pretty poor. Seems they've recently realized their poor customer service and put a manager at the door to greet you? Or maybe he's their for security? Either way they are awkward. I've been in there dressed up, dressed down, make-up done, and make-up not done. It's true, you're treated different with a face on. Sampling products are rough at this location, products are often empty, destroyed, or just straight up disgusting. Weekends are insanity at this location little to no help - forget samples. All and all I will always continue to go here as the alternative is Ulta and I will rank Sephora higher. read more

This is by far, the busiest Sephora I've ever been to. It's constantly jam packed with people making for a more chaotic shopping experience. I've noticed at this location that the staff on the registers aren't always aware of promotions and deals available via the Sephora app so it takes awhile to check out while they ask other staff about how to do this or that. While I'm not a fan of the layout of this store, you MUST take a free beauty class with Pedro. If you're a Beauty Insider (free loyalty card member) you can sign up to take all types of beauty classes, for free. I took a lash class, which is the only class where you either need to purchase lashes at Sephora, or bring your own, to class. Pedro is FANTASTIC. Search him out, he's a good teacher. read more

I come here and another beauty store at least 2-4 times a year to get make up done. So very worth it and you feel pampered when someone else's is doing it. For the most part, they what you're looking for but my last service I had she was spot on with what I wanted my look to be. The only down fall was about 3 hours into my night my nose are was sliding off my face. She did add setting spray and a bunch of primer and lotion and gel on my face. Went to T-mobile and it was freezing out so I was not even sweating. My whole eye area looked so awful. I looked like I was in my seventies. All that make up and all you can see is the lines on my face. Tried adding powder to pat it and fill it in but it was too late. Another lady across who was doing her make up looked the same and I just thought maybe she was just older I think it was what they use to prep out face. A week ago I went to Sephora to look for a foundation of my color of course, but every employee did not bother to ask customers or even me if everything was okay or if I needed help finding a shade. Two employees were busy at the register and that's understandable, I was looking around to see if anybody would help me; but all I saw was two other employees that were talking beside the door standing and not doing anything. One of the employee with black and blonde hair I'm pretty sure she had piercings. I asked for her help on finding a shade and while that she did not match my shade very well she went a little darker to my skin; which is not what I asked for, she seemed to be very judgmental and not enthusiastic. I was just denied entry because our masks were not creating a tight enough seal around our noses even though we expressed that we did not need to sample any products. I hope you sit there and explain this to your sales representatives who are not receiving a commission on our potential $300 sale. I think it's ridiculous to continually impose restrictions like this on people who are complying by wearing a face covering according to direction from our governor who stated a face covering including a scarf was realist and acceptable. This has gone on far too long. More people die of many other diseases every day. Estetitians and cosmetologists undergo so many sanitization standards upon certification and if you do not feel as if those can be upheld than you should not keep this location open. read more

I met Mehling earlier this year & we both shared stories about our lives with one another. Each time I've come in after our first meeting, she remembers me and always goes above and beyond helping me. She is 100% authentic and genuine which is what I love most about her. I always leave feeling grateful for our interaction. Today I mentioned that I was a college student. She then asked me if I went to UNLV. We began talking about the recent tragedy that occurred on campus and I became emotional. She gave me the biggest hug & made me feel so comfortable during a vulnerable moment. I've been to this location five times and not one associate has ever greeted me, yet they all stand near the door. They pick and choose who they want to assist and out of all of the associates, I've only had one ask if I needed help. The location is the only thing that's convenient. read more

This Sephora is pretty good....it's the most convenient for me since it's the closest to where I live. Most products I need/want to buy they will have in stock. I don't really need someone weighing on me hand and foot so it doesn't bother me too much if a sales associate isn't asking me a million questions. I always get acknowledge when I first enter though. I'll tell you this, the customer service here is a heck lot better than the MAC store down the block. Sephora is always busy...no matter what time/day you go. Even on a Monday night...there was a long line at the check out counter. But everything was still processed smoothly. Also, I much prefer Sephora over Ulta. Staff are friendly and usually pretty quick to assist me. I use a few different name-brands but have to recommend Sephora's own face masks. They always leave my skin so soft, especially the coconut one. Only negative thing is the line can be long and there aren't always enough cashiers on the weekends. I wish this location would work more on customer service. I usually don't need help so I never really noticed, but I came in yesterday looking for Bite Lip Lab products and had some difficultly trying to find the display. I tried to approach several sales associates for help only to have them pivot and walk the other way before I could say anything. One sales associate literally walked passed me when I tried to ask for help so she could compliment another customer on her hair and ask if she could help her (to which the customer replied this SAME woman had already helped her earlier). Eventually I was able to ask someone for help and the sales associate seemed annoyed that he had to walk me over to the display. The samples were in shambles and many of the products were not restocked. I didn't find the color I was looking for in the Bite lipliner I wanted, so I left without purchasing. Worst Sephora I've been to by far. I'm a Las Vegas local, and I went into the store many times before. But I went twice today and both times when I entered, they welcomed me. But both times I walked out upset. When I went in the first time I was looking for a gift for my mother as it's her birthday today. But when I was walking around these ladies just kept coming around me even after I made it clear I didn't need help. I even went to a random area to look and a few seconds later an employee came up and pretended to fix the perfectly laid out wall, but would try to sneakily look back and keep an eye on me. It made me feel uncomfortable and honestly offended. It was like a target on my back. The second time I went in with my mom. It was the same day. just an hour difference. My mom asked an employee to help, and these employees look so miserable. They even sounded miserable when my mom was trying to get some help and on top they were short with her almost like they didn't want to even help. Then when we got to the register I tried to pay with a gift card that even came with the gift receipt. The lady was having issues getting it to swipe so she tried to look at the numbers and she claimed she accidentally scratched off two of the numbers. So she tried to figure out the last two and came up with some but it still wasn't working. Then she lied about calling right in front of me, then said she couldn't help. So I looked at the card and told her the right numbers and she still said it doesn't work... when the card was in my hand. She didn't even try. Had a wonderful experience here on 3/30/3019 I came in around 6pm and wanted someone to just do my eye shadow for me, The girl working at the front told me she would walkie somebody and ask what the wait time was because she had allot of appointments because it was prom weekend out here, I walked around and was looking at some things found a few things to purchase and got a few perfume samples, Another associate came up to me with an iPhone and took my information she stated that it would be a few minutes and then an artist would find me and do my makeup. It ended up being the girl I was talking to at the door, I stated that I wanted a heavy Smokey eye since I would be going out at night, and she nailed it and did and amazing job! She had great conversational skills and didn't make it awkward at all and with the experience I didn't mind the wait either, just wished she would have been allowed to take a tip, that would have been awesome because she deff deserved it! Went in with my African American friend. We're working with a sales rep who was amazing. We were ready to buy products, however the manager told our rep she must help other customers. This white, blonde haired manager was not interested in us getting the help we needed. She told our rep there was no time or space for us to get the make over (which is offered when you spend $50 or more) however 20 minutes afterwards another walk-in was sat for the mini make over. Lots of people were helped while we waited for our rep to come back to us- which never happened. We later asked a diff rep for a sample brush. She didn't have it and could not leave her section (understandable) so she radioed over to the other reps if someone could help us. The above listed manager heard and continued to stand around and do nothing. I have never felt so disregarded and unimportant. I am a VIB and always get helped out in every other location. Being there with a person of color showed me a COMPLETELY different side to the customer service at this location, specifically that manager- she was truly awful. Barking orders left and right to her employees, only helping those she felt or "looked" like were going to spend $. This was supposed to be a special night for my friend. Her birthday was coming up- she wanted a new look to bring in her new year. We left EXTREMELY disappointed. I will not be back to this location and I will continue to warn others of the discrimination this manager perpetuates. read more

Wow, what amazing customer service! Came to pick up a few beauty essentials b/c a girl's job is to look beautiful every second of every min of every hour. Sephora has everything a girl could ever need in the make-up department. I was greeted by several very good looking girls, who were super friendly but not pushy and gave me plenty of space to look up and down the aisle myself. I love not being hassled but around in case I have a question. The check-out line was super short and the pretty girl at the checkout counter was friendly and very helpful and even gave me a few free samples. 12/2016 OH MY a woman's heaven! I love the smell when walking in! That is my heaven! I am a perfume fanatic! It is my obsession. I can never resist!! This store carries so many fun and exciting things to see and try! Whenever walking the strip this is one of those must walk through places. I am always checking out the new Perfume they have. It is nice they have the sample bottles to just about everything they have which is really nice. I am always finding something new I want. This must be one of their busiest locations but I have to say the customer service is great. If you need help looking for anything just ask someone close by who works there and they are always happy to help you out. I would normally give Sephora 4 stars, but this recent visit is a 2 star for the lack of customer service and product knowledge. I came in this week to get a perfume that I always buy here and when I went to the section they only had 1 of 6 scents. I talked to a sales rep and she said they didn't carry them any more as she looked at her list, but she stated that it looked like they still had them in the store. Okay, so which one is it? I wanted to be sure if that was accurate, so I asked if I could talk to a manager and she reluctantly walked me to her. The sales rep showed the manager the inventory list and the manager who didn't seem one bit interested in investigating further said; No, it's discontinued... we don't have it and you'll have to go online. Honestly I would have accepted her answer as truth, but I had just been in the week before and all the perfumes were on display. I even asked the sales rep at that time if they were being discontinued and she said no it just happened that they moved them to another section of the store. So in a nutshell I was about to walk out without buying anything and remembered I needed concealer. So I got in line to purchased it and what do you know... what do I see, an entire fully stocked display of the perfumes I was looking for. Wow, really? This is the best Sephora sales rep and manager can do for customers? I eventually bought what I needed, but if I hadn't bothered getting in line I would have never got my perfumes and Sephora would have lost out on a sale. This is my favorite makeup store (and favorite location) The staff is always friendly and helpful. I used to be exclusive with Mac and Clinique, but Sephora lured me with their huge selection. I love the eyebrow pencils from Anastasia and the BB cream from Boscia (self adjusting shade for all skin types), but my two all time absolute favorite items are Buxom lip gloss - it will change your life. I use Dani most often but I've flirted with other shades. And Givenchy Rouge Interdict. I'm not sure if that's the color name.. It's kind of a glittery white/pinkish color, at $25 per tube it is very, very expensive, but it has lasted me quite a while. read more

Sephora is great whether online or in store. This is the most convenient location in town for me. Good experiences. The people always are willing to help me find what I want. They also give you a sample tester to take home of any product you want in store. They are able to do your makeup if you are a VIB and you get large samples if earn VIB points. The selection of brands is extensive and the Points program is free so why not!?!?!? From the app on your phone you can make your shopping list and see if they have the products in store before going. I used to only do Clinique and MAC, now I do a little bit of lip gloss or eye shadow from different brands. Still mostly those two but gives me options in one place depending on what looking for. Also has the clarisonic and devices like that in store! The big thing for me that it didn't get 5 stars is no MAC products and the VIB perks are good but not great. read more

I was first not into it, because I use high end makeup brands, but let me tell you I was totally SHOCKED how long they last and how vibrant the colors are. I don't understand why this Sephora location doesn't have a 5 star rating. I've shopped at a ton of different Sephora locations and I think it deserves 5 stars all the way. And not just because Sephora is my absolute favorite store. It's because I've always found it extremely easy to find help if I needed it here. All of the employees are all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. And while this may not be as big a location as the one at the Venetian but it certainly doesn't qualify as a small store either. My latest discovery at Sephora has been the classes that they offer in which you can learn skills like how to put fake eyelashes on, to how to do winged eyeliner and contour. There's even a few classes on skincare. I highly recommend taking advantage of this. I took the Smoky Eye class with Emily the other day and she was great! I plan on taking more classes soon. All in all, this Sephora gets my vote. I could spend hours looking around at everything and never get bored and the employees never make me feel like I've overstayed my welcome. read more

Disappointed at the treatment I recently received at this location. My cousin came down from Scottsdale and purchased over $100 worth of products. She asked the makeup artist to give me a mini makeover, but needed to ask her manager to get his ok. I have NEVER been to a sephora where a manager asked "how much" the customer spent and products to approve. I planned on purchasing the products that would be used, but apparently the manager must meet a certain sales quota, because he told the makeup artist that she couldn't work on me for another 15 minutes. I don't really know how to do my makeup other than the basic foundation, eye liner, and mascara, which I was able buy at from this location over a year ago thanks to the help I received then. Since I want to improve my skills and try something new, I was ready to buy eye shows, contour, concealer, eyebrow, and lip products, etc and was hoping I could get some assistance again. After walking the store for about 40 minutes, not once did I get asked if I needed assistance, although other customers around me did. I picked 8 items not knowing if they would work out for me, but I was willing to try them at home. When I got to checkouts and let the cashier know I was not assisted after she asked me, she then radioed someone to come over a provide assistance. When Michelle got close, she decided offer assistance to the people next to me who were not at checkouts. When the cashier told her she called her over to help ME, she was not apologetic, kind of made an "o well" gesture, and walked away. At that point I was done with them. There's a gentleman who works here who wears full makeup and is actually extremely helpful with suggesting products and general makeup advice. If it was possible to give no stars I would! I never write reviews but my experience was so terrible at this location I had to! There was no greeting from anyone, no one asked at any point if I needed assistance! There was no one waiting at check out when I got there and the employee at the register didn't even acknowledge me. I must have stood there for a good 2-3 minutes and she walked away with out ever asking if I needed help. I continued to stand there when another employee came and I asked if I needed help. I told her I was waiting to check out when she proceeded to tell me In the rudest way possible I had to get in line to check out when there was originally no one there when I got there!
