This is one of the best Sephora's I've been to. Everyone is so sweet and helpful. I literally felt like a 10 year old finding her mother's make-up for the first time. They have a great selection of products and brands. Only thing, they didn't have the OPI collection, it may be a Sephora thing, or just this store, but I'm not a big fan of their new nail polish selection. #BringbacktheOPI. 5 stars mainly because Bonnie that works at this location was so amazing and sweet! She was so thoughtful and was the true meaning of good service! She made sure to tell me about my free birthday gift and gave us some free samples, but basically was all around pleasant to talk to made me leave with a smile on my face. Wow. Really. I'm so impressed. Spacious and airy store. Parking is not a problem at all. Shenny and Suzana are two of the BEST Sephora employees that ever helped me in the States. They were so friendly, vastly knowledgeable and JUST on point with their attitude and communication. Shenny knows a lot about sunscreen which helped me as it was my only reason I'm in store. Then she so smoothly transitioned me to Suzana who helped me with another detailed skin concern. I know stuff about skin care, beauty and perfumes, and these guys validated that and elaborated more on it, which is always appreciated and expected in such businesses. This is my favorite Sephora, and I'm in their stores a lot. The people working here are very friendly. And will always help finding a shade or helpful tips. I feel like at other locations, they rush you out. You can leave looking horrible but they say oh that color looks great on you. This was my first time at this Sephora and ever having a makeover, and I must say that I was very impressed! Everyone was super friendly and professional. I must say that Nikki did an amazing job! As a WOC, I was not sure what to expect. However, Nikki introduced me to all these new products I was not familiar with and she really did a wonderful job with my makeup. We received so many compliments during and after her application. She also gave me very detailed step-by-step instructions to recreate the same look. First of all, I came in with a list of items I needed & had questions about. Item #1 was written as "moisturizer for mom". Item #2 was "setting spray". Item #3 was "blush". I'm very open to trying new products. Vee approached me in such a welcoming manner, I immediately felt comfortable to trust that she was going to help me with whatever questions I had. Little did I know that the turn out was above and beyond. I wasn't expecting to have an outstanding experience in the end after a long day at work considering how exhausted I was. To start with, I was torn between two setting sprays, she helped me choose based on my skin type. On to blush, she recommended her personal favorite (Tarte - Captivating - 12-hr blush) or the other based off popular sales (I forgot the name). She tested both on each cheek and I chose Tarte. It's a great color, plus its vegan. Then came my questions about moisturizer for mom. I expressed my mom's concerns about her own skin, and Vee had quite the recommendations. I didn't choose one only because my mom tends to be picky but Vee gave me 3 samples. Now I can help my mom figure out what she likes best and will be back to make a purchase after she chooses. I too tested the moisturizers and am interested in trying out Drunk Elephant for my next moisturizer. Last minute, I learned just by looking around that Sephora has hair products. So I asked about a good pomade. I'm new to the pixie cut, always had long hair. So I'm happy to discover that Sephora has pomade. I sampled OUAI Matte Pomade. LOVE it. Unfortunately the store is out. I was informed about ordering, but I'd rather finish the pomade I currently have and plan to go back for the OUAI brand when that time comes. VEE was so attentive, friendly, professional, and sweet. Almost felt like I was talking to a friend. Our conversations were very cool and smooth. She made this experience for me better than I expected. I had to let someone know. Belem is a goddess in the skincare section!! She talked with me for probably 15-20 minutes, walking me through some products and recommended the perfect moisturizer and foundation for me. My skin is ridiculously soft and so much healthier and I really feel like I now have the perfect mix of healthy skin with just enough coverage to even in out, without feeling like I need to layer on a whole new face. I love this store mostly because of Shenny the make up artist. She is very very good at was she does. I have seen her at least 5 times now and I keep coming back. She has a great style and ability to make me look amazing for every occasion that i need make up done. She always very informative about every product that i need and also she have an ability to introduce me to the new products that I was not aware of. This is my favorite Sephora yet! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable here. It's in a bit of a crazy shopping center so maybe avoid lunch time. Once you walk-in, it's set up like a normal Sephora but being a new store, everything looks shinier and new. There always seems to be plenty of staff around to help and their suggestions have been awesome. Frankie called another store to see if they received the samples with the special offer and they did not. Come to find out it was an online only thing. As I was checking out Frankie, said to wait right here by the cash wrap. She surprised me with a bunch of Dr. Brandt and AmorePacific deluxe samples. She made my day! read more

I LOVE LOVE this location. It's a stand alone store with plenty of parking. It's makes it very convenient to get to instead of getting through the maze of stores at the mall. I really appreciated Lili's service. Her color recommendations are always great especially when I'm trying new products. I was really excited to get sephora in MDR. I am highly allergic to dogs and this place on multiple occasions has allowed a lady with a small white dog to enter the store--whereupon her dog starts licking and sniffing the makeup. This is highly unsanitary. I have repeatedly complained about this to the sales rep who then accused me of not liking dogs?!?!?? I do not think the health dept would see it that way! If you go in this store, I recommend not using the makeup samples on the bottom 2 shelves. read more

I love Sephora and I usually like this location. I scheduled an appt to get my makeup done for an event. To start with I still don't know the guys name that did my makeup because he never introduced himself. He never smiled and every time I asked for his opinion since he is the professional, his response was "it's really your preference". He actually seemed like he knew what he was doing but because he literally had the worst attitude he put no effort into my makeup. When he was done he said is there anything you want me to change and when I said no he walked away and that was it. Why on earth would I tell him to change anything when he acted miserable to even be helping me? When I went home I ended up washing my makeup off and just doing it myself because I had weird unblended brown splotches all over my face. Thank you for wasting my time Sephora next time I'll just stick to actual professionals when it comes to doing my makeup. read more

the BEST sephora on the west side! so big and open and the workers are extremely friendly! they'll definitely help you out if you need it but will back off if you say you're okay and give you your space unlike other sephora's i've been to. i'm a younger girl and i'm assuming some may think i don't quite know what i'm looking for, but here it's much different. the samples are placed nicely and stay in relatively good condition although they're swatched constantly throughout the day. i'm assuming they replace them quite often. if you find yourself frustrated with the sephora they have in the fox hills mall, come here instead and you definitely will not be disappointed! only downside is the parking situation, but you'll be fine. thanks waterfront marina sephora for your awesome service read more

My friend got me a gift card for my birthday. I was looking online for things that I wanted. I realized you can make an appointment online for them to do your makeup in store. I HAD SUCH A GOOD EXPERIENCE! I unfortunately forget the girls name who put helped take my make up and prep me for the makeup. She was super nice and helpful! Marcia is the one who did my makeup. We talked about what I wanted in the beginning and it was mostly just to help me find good foundation and find the right make up for me. I had so much fun during my session and she went above and beyond to help me out! We just went with an everyday look. It was my first time wearing fake eyelashes and she was patient with me while teaching me how to put them on. I'll definitely be back for other appointments. She was so sweet! I highly suggest her! I walked in for some skin wipes and Jacqueline recommend a variety of things. It felt like she was my personal beauty advisor. She recommended so many fragrances for me since I am very picky about smells. I learned that there are such things as hair mists which I was not previously aware of. She took her time to get to know a bit about me and shared which products she likes. I will defiantly come back and look for Jacqueline for my beauty needs although there is a Sephora next to my house. It is worth the drive to get treated the way she treated and cared about my needs. Clean, fairly new, beautiful store. This sephora location is larger than the store in the Fox Hills mall. The associates are kind and helpful and the artists who do the makeovers are very talented. Every time I've gone in for a beauty service they've pampered me like I'm in a day spa rather than sitting on a stool in the middle of a sephora.
