I stopped in really quickly to look for a new foundation. I know that's not really a quick undertaking. Upon entrance I was greeted right away and set up with a consultant. Liam came to find me in the store. He was awesome. Understood right away what I needed and showed me the perfect products. He was really sorry they were out of my shade but helped me order it so it would be waiting on me when we returned home.

Im on vacation, and we happened to find this Sephora while out shopping, so I stopped in to get my eyebrows waxed. The very friendly lady that greeted us gushed about how good Mickey was, and made me an appointment to return after her break. I won't lie, at first glance it seemed that they were right, I didn't have on my glasses, my fault. I asked what she was putting on my eyebrows when she was done, she told me it was wax conditioner something or another. When I got to my car and examined them up close, all I could do was say DAMN! She got me, that wax conditioner was more like camouflage for what I could have done myself. What makes me more mad than anything, is that I tipped $20 for a $21 service, because I believe fully in tipping, but my goodness it wasn't deserved at all. Lesson learned, I won't step foot in another Sephora that's for sure.

On vacation from California and since my eyeliner is low I decided to pop in. So it's my first time visiting Sephora and it's conveniently located in the French Quarters next to H&M. It's a huge store that was pretty much empty. Plenty of people to help you which is delightful. I usually purchase eyeliner from MAC but decided to switch it up and go with the Sephora brand eyeliner. Thank you Sephora

Stopped in to grab eye primer. I knew what I was looking for and found it pretty quickly. I didn't need help, but can't say anyone offered to assist me either. The only interaction I had was with the cashier and she was nice. Store seemed to be well stocked and was like most Sephoras.

I normally don't wear makeup however I wanted to get my makeup done for a wedding that I was attending. Being African American I was very hesitant to just book with anyone. However, I saw a review for Mickey and took a chance. I was not disappointed. I went in there with pics of what I wanted and she did not disappoint. She did an excellent job. She was very professional, knowledgeable and personable. Book her and you will not be disappointed.

I've been desperately needing to come to a Sephora to pick up a few things and hardly ever have a chance, so when I was in the area, I came in. There was a security guard at the front playing on their phone. Everything was neat, clean and well organized. I was tired and couldn't find what I was looking for, so the gal working walked me over to where the item was. She just knew. And she did not point and say over there. She took the time to actually show me. Now that is amazing customer service. If I am in the area and need my stuff restocked, I will come in here.

Mandy is professional and so knowledgeable. Every session I've had I learn something new about my skin, taking care of it, etc. Her studio space is so calm and inviting. The services I've done with Mandy have all been customized to my skin- it's never steps 1-3 like facials I've had in the past regardless of skin concerns or types. She evaluates your skin and goals from the get go to inform the overall experience. Mandy has also helped me get into a regular routine with my home skin care. I didn't know where to start and she did an incredible job of helping me select the most important places to start, even if they weren't the products she carries. I felt she truly appreciated different price points and helped me not feel overwhelmed. Lastly, she's just a good person. I have felt so safe during COVID with her services and protocols. Knowing she's protecting herself allows me to feel more relaxed as well. I also love supporting a local, woman owned business on top of it all.

She has truly TRANSFORMED my skin and because of her, I was able to get my confidence back. Initially, when I came to her, I had the WORST breakout of my life. Cystic, blackhead, whitehead, you name it (pictured below). I had it all. The breakout lasted over a several month period before I saw her (approx. 3 months or more) and showed no signs of stopping, just getting worse. At the time, I was a sophomore in college and this gave me extreme social anxiety and insecurity as I was worried that people were constantly looking at my acne and not my face. Looks definitely don't mean everything to me, but I was tired of other people being so distracted by my face that they were treating differently. It was a very challenging time for me, but luckily my mom found this exact Yelp page when she was doing research and so we agreed to try her out. I was at the end of my rope -- so ready to give up and just accept the infected, acne-ridden skin I had. I didn't think it was possible to change it. I originally didn't have high expectations when I first saw her and I thought that this was going to be a dud, like all of my other efforts had been to fix my skin. Prior to Mandy, I had a dermatologist, had been on at least 3 different acne medications, including Acutane (many of which actually made me physically sick or ill -- almost hospitalized) as well as having tried so many face washes and masks that I truly thought that I was maybe cursed with acne for life. Since day one, Mandy has been kind, compassionate and extremely helpful when assisting me with my skin. I go see her anytime I possibly can to get my skin treated or when I have a question about a new product or skin regimen. I trust her 110% and she has more than delivered, over and over again. She treats all of her clients with the utmost professionalism and care, as well as personalizes her care to YOUR specific skin. Over the summer in college, when I went back to California, Mandy also did research for me and temporarily referred me to an acne specialist she trusted. In the meantime before I got back, they helped me. I have never gone back to anyone else about my skin -- not even a dermatologist -- because I have never needed to. Mandy knows her stuff and I have been able to fix my acne problem just with her. My face is living proof that what she does works. It might as well be magic to me, because I couldn't have done it by myself. All of the time and investment I've spent on my skin with her has been totally worth it and I would do it again if I ever needed to. Today, I still have acne trouble, but that is mostly due to hormones. Either way, Mandy has been there by my side to help me figure it out and make it manageable. Soon, I'm going to be working on clearing up my acne scars with her and I can't wait. Thank you Mandy, for all you have done for me and so many others!! You are not only changing skin but changing lives.

I was approached while walking in the French Quarter and brought into the store for what became a very long skincare demonstration. Several products were applied to my face, including a warming mask and the Black Truffle Instant Repair Syringe under my eyes. The eye product did create a noticeable temporary tightening effect, which made the demonstration very convincing. I repeatedly indicated that I was not planning to buy anything, but the sales presentation continued. I was shown the Black Truffle Instant Repair Syringe with a stated retail price of $1,250 and eventually purchased an unopened one for $250. The sales pressure then escalated considerably. I was shown a skincare/light device initially priced at approximately $7,000. After I declined, the price was repeatedly reduced until it reached approximately $1,700, and a two-year payment plan was discussed in an attempt to persuade me to purchase it. I ultimately refused and left without buying the device. After the demonstration, I experienced significant irritation under my eyes from the tester product. Because of that reaction, I decided not to use the syringe I purchased. The product remains completely unopened, unused, and in its original packaging. My receipt states that exchanges are allowed within 14 days. Since I had already left New Orleans, I contacted the store by email within that exchange period and requested instructions for exchanging the unopened product by mail. I used the email address provided by the business for exchange requests. I received no response. I followed up again and still received no response. What concerns me most is not simply that I regret an expensive purchase. It is the combination of the prolonged high-pressure sales process, dramatic price reductions, financing attempts, the irritation I experienced from the tester, and then the complete lack of response when I tried to use the exchange policy printed on my receipt. My advice to anyone visiting this store is to research the products and prices before buying anything, do not make a decision because of a dramatic in-store demonstration or rapidly decreasing "special" price, and carefully read the return and exchange policy before paying.

He explained how things would flow during my time there. He guided me to the sauna room first and explained how to enter the sauna capsule. I was given space and time to undress and enter the capsule. He knocked and entered the room as he stated he would just to make sure that I was correctly in the capsule. I was not lol. So I'm glad he came in to correct. The sauna was at 99 degrees I believe an it got toasty quick. There is a clock on the wall that you can see. About halfway through, I got too hot (I'm not a regular sauna user so this may be a newbie thing) so I removed myself from the capsule to cool off a bit. I later got back in with about 10 min left on the clock. The timer went off and I grabbed my things and walked out to lobby area to go to the float room. Once in the float room, he explained that the pod would fill with water and that the lights would go out. In the room is a floatation pillow for your head to use if you prefer. There's also a shower in the room for after your float. They also provide ear plugs and Vaseline to apply if you've got any nicks and scratches to avoid irritation from the salt water. The actual float was nice. The pod stays open the whole time and there's ambient music playing in the beginning to relax you. The total darkness was fine for me but may be difficult for others. I floated on my back initially and kind of just let the water carry me. I switched to a stomach float later on, using the flotation pillow under my chin. It was really nice to relax and bounce off the pod walls without feeling the need to course correct. My only concern was the airflow in the float room. I'm not sure if there was any or if it was just warm due to the water in the pod (the water is lukewarm btw). Maybe I was just overthinking. Overall it was a nice relaxing experience!
