My boyfriend and I were looking for a nail shop since we spent the weekend in New Orleans and we passed this one and I'm so glad that we decided to turn around! This was the best pedicure I have ever had in my entire life. When I walked in, the lady asked if we had an appointment and I told her no, but I had no idea that they go by appointments so she was able to fit us in which I was very grateful for as soon as we walked in we sat in the pedicure chairs and got service right away. My boyfriend and I got the luxury pedicure, and with that comes the wax and hot towels, and also a heated neck pillow. My nail tech Ronnie was so nice and welcoming and also explain to me that with each customer they take their time which I truly appreciate it was so nice in there so relaxing and everyone so nice. My pedicure was so relaxing. They really truly rubbed and got the dead skin off of my feet which was much needed. They do just about any type of meal service or foot service that you might need. They also do waxing which I was very surprised about overall I get this experience a 10 out of 10 I will be back! I truly appreciate how they take their time with each customer because it makes things feel not rushed. Even though this nail shop is a bit of a drive for both me and my boyfriend. I had the most disappointing, disrespectful, and unacceptable service today. The same girl did both my refill and pedicure. She was rushing thru my pedicure and didn't think I would notice. Then she stopped midway through painting my toes nails (mentioning the bottom coat had to dry) to start on this Caucasian women while leaving me sitting there for approximately 45 minutes to finish this Caucasian woman's nails. I'm an African American woman who is 6 months pregnant btw. I can't help but feel like it had something to do with my race and for that reason I will not be setting foot in this establishment again. This place is currently appointment only and it is perfect because you don't have to wait. I came about 10 minutes early and was seated immediately. Let me tell y'all, the place is beautiful on the inside. They have water flowing towards the back wall with flowers and it is absolutely gorgeous. My technician, Armani was amazing and friendly (recommend him if you're getting a pedicure). He asked if I wanted a beverage: water, wine, lemonade etc. After, he brought out a heated neck pillow and this was the first salon to ever have that. So I came here to get a deluxe pedicure with the honey scrub and he did such a great job! The mood and tone was relaxing the entire time. Definitely coming here more often :) read more

OVERCHARGED and TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!!! I was told on the phone when booking my gel that it was 30.00 and for a callus pedicure it was 37!!! I was charged 108.00 for absolutely no reason. I'm beyond annoyed, displeased, and dissatisfied. The lady who did my nails was coming out with a powder and I said "oh no i dont want dip powder." and she replied "no its not dip powder it's for your nails to remove the streaks and proceeded to put it on my nails.. without telling me (which I found after days later) that it was it an EXTRA TEN DOLLARS!!!!!!! Why wasn't this mentioned to me?????? then I was informed that the person at the front desk should have told me it was 40.00 for a gel manicure not 30.00 so now it's an extra 20 I paid for just nails... this is beyond ridiculous especially since I'm not in charge of prices. Why should I have to pay more for their mishap. Then I PAID and BOOKED the callus removal for the pedicure and it was NOT done. I was told from the owner that it was only done IF THEY FELT LIKE I NEEDED IT... then why charge me for it. This place is a SCAM! I should be owned back 26.00 dollars in which the owner refused to give me. I HOPE she sees this and does the right thing and refund me for what I did not get and for what I wasn't told. My girlfriend went to here and received one of the worst nail set refills I have seen. I may not be a nail expert but when the refill shaping of the new nail vs the old ones that were still intact do not even look the same even I would be confused. The thumb nail is not even pushed in all the way and compared to the previous set on her thumb it looks hideous. My girlfriend is not pleased and we will not be returning to this nail location. I usually drop her off and return in about an hour and a half to pick her up because nails do take time to fix and refill. This is my second time visiting this place. The first time I just happened to be looking for a place at the last minute. I had to wait a while because they have a lot of appointments but it was worth the wait. The staff is friendly and the service was excellent. The second time I made an appointment and the service was exactly the same with a different person. I love that consistency. They offer you wine, tea, lemonade or water and one of my favorite things is that they don't try to hold lengthy conversations with you while you're trying to relax unless you want them to. Beware! I believe this nail salon is under new ownership, and I went and received one of the worst "manicures" I've ever had in my entire life. They painted on my skin, there were no clean lines and ultimately I had to ask them to take the polish off because it looked so terrible. Three weeks later and it looks as if when they were ripping off my cuticles they severely damaged my nail bed and there are large dents in my nail. I've attached a photo of this. I would not recommend this place as some of the nail techs are TERRIBLE (though the lady right next to me looked as if she received a decent manicure.) I would not risk it. read more

The pedicure chairs are SO comfortable and there's sheer curtains separating each one for that little bit of privacy that you may want. They adjust to any position you want and of course have personally remote controlled massage. They offer manicures, solar nails, acrylic nails, gelish, pedicures, SIGNATURE pedicures (with the flavor of your choice, which are heaven), eyebrow waxing/shaping and eyelash extensions. When it comes to eyelash application, Heather is perfection! I don't get the eyelashes on a regular basis (just for fun or if I'm in the mood) but when I do, I feel glamourous! Every member of the staff is so friendly, they always engage in conversation while they work. Since I go there so much everyone knows me by my first name and I've even become friends with the owner. There's always either upbeat music playing or a good movie on their TV. Not to mention their wide array of magazines, that the technicians ALWAYS offer you before your pedicure. On April 24th, I had an appointment for a gel pedicure. This nail shop is close to my job & I wanted to try them out. The service is overall pretty good, the BIGGEST/MAIN issue I have is w/ the quality of the work. As you can see I got a gel French tip pedicure which cost me $80 ($85 w/ a tip on my card.) (I also included a picture of my receipt so you can see the pricing for everything I was charged for.) Not even 2 weeks later, on May 4th the acrylic from my big toe completely came off. I didn't hit my foot on anything, wasn't being rough w/ my feet it just came off. My experience going to my local nail shop my gel pedicure can last me roughly over a month w/ no problems!! It's very upsetting considering I have paid so much for such poor quality. Even looking at a few of my other toes, I see the gel cracking/lifting & a few imperfections. I did arrive early and had to wait for them to finish up with the last client before Bebe (i believe that is the correct spelling) got to me but I was not ignored! My favorite nail spa! I've been going here since they first opened and all of the girls are very nice. I use to live on the Westbank and moved to Gentilly and I have tried other nail salons closer, but none are as comfortable and friendly as they are. They are very personal and with appointment only I never feel rushed. They are always willing to do whatever crazy design I ask for and they get it as close as they can. Other salons never want to take the time with my designs and I never like them. I just wish I could make more trips to them, but my time is short with travel and having to make an appointment doesn't always work for me. I wish they would open another location Eastbank. If I have to give any negative feedback it would be that you can't leave tip on a card. I never carry cash, but they never make that a big deal anyway.
