Came here recently for a makeup session and loved the end look. Prior to that visit I've been to this location multiple times and have had pleasant experiences for the most part. Sometimes I've had trouble trying to find someone to help me, but for the most part I shop on my own so rarely need anyone anyway. This isn't the biggest location as others have mentioned but I actually do find it to be pretty organized. One great feature of the Sephora website/app is you can check for products in store so if you're looking for something specific maybe double check that it's in stock at that location before going. read more

I love all things that have to do with being a girl which is why Sephora is a mecca of just that. This store is located in the pembroke gardens mall across from the Starbucks. They carry majority of "high end" makeup, hair, fragrance, and skin care brands. Some brands include; dry bar, bumble & bumble, anastasia beverly hills, clinique, stilla, urban decay, laura nercier, nars, makeup forever, bobby brown, estee lauder, kat von d, urban decay, too faced, glam glow, Kate somersville, pericone md, chanel etc... The store is a pretty good size things don't feel crammed. As soon as you walk in you will be greeted by all things beauty. The middle section has whatever sets they have for sale at the time. You will find makeup on both sides of the store. On the right side wall you will find all fragrances. On the left side wall you will find all hair related products. On the back wall you will find all skin care product. Sephora has a membership reward system that's free to join. You get 1 point for every $1 you spend. You can trade these points for different trial sized items of makeup/skin care/hair care. If you spend $350 a year you become a vib the great thing about that is that they have better kits etc you can redeem your reward points for. Their also vib rouge which I think you have to spend $2000 a year for. If you're in one of these tiers of membership you get a gift on your bday and get the infamous 20% off coupon on the entire store that happens once a year in November. The great thing about Sephora is that they have a "try me" for every single item they have in their store! Not only that but you can ask them to prepare a sample so you can try the product at home before you buy it. If that's not enough you can always return a used product if you didn't like it no questions asked. So you can never go wrong with Sephora! Fortunately since I frequent this store I'm familiar with some of the sales girls so I go to specific people when I need help. I'm giving this place 2 stars, not for bad customer service but the overwhelming amount of customer attention, within 10 minutes of me being there I was asked by 9 different employees if I needed help, even after just asking where a product was located in the store, I was then redirected into a different product and being swarmed by 2 employees talking to me about a product I didn't even inquire about. I would have purchased items but ended up leaving empty handed. Will not be returning to this Sephora. read more

Not to give away my sexuality or anything, but, I've always had this secret fantasy of living in a condo on a high floor of a building with a Sephora located on the ground floor. In that fantasy, I would wake up every morning and go down to the Sephora and pickle myself in as many expensive products as possible. I would, of course, be using the "testers" and would do this every day. I'd be so glam without paying a dime. Located in the ultra-successful Pembroke Gardens, just east of 75 on Pines Blvd, this may be the smallest Sephora I've ever been in. Luckily, sephora.com is a success. So, if you can't find a desired item at the store, it's just a few clicks away. The staff at this Sephora is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you see a product you'd like to test but don't want to test it in the shop, ask for a "to-go" sample. Someone will fix it up for you in a jiffy. If you haven't registered for the Sephora rewards program, do it online or with a staff member at the store. And, for God's sake, look for the most expensive eye cream in there and test the hell out of it! Every day! read more

Don't get me wrong, I adore Sephora and exclusively buy all my makeup, skincare and hair care there; I am a VIB Rouge member, the highest tier. The customer service here is deplorable. No one is actually willing to help you; even when meandering through a nearly empty store, the employees act like you are harassing them when you ask for product recommendations or to do a demonstration. Let's be clear, I was not asking for a glamour makeover. Literally, all it wanted was to try a new concealer along with my regular foundation, and was basically told that I would have to had booked an appointment. When I pushed, saying "just something for a base, not a big deal" since I went in makeup free, they told me that "we don't do that." Wait, you don't make product recommendations and allow clients to try out cosmetics before buying? Basically , love the store, hate the staff. This is definitely not your Aventura Sephora. Stopped by on a Thursday night to pick up some foundation. Though I did not need any help finding my foundation I did need help finding where my brand was located. 6 sales associates on the floor, not one asked if I needed help. I'm in line waiting to pay while the cashier is doing a return. When it's my turn to pay, the cashier is ringing me up and here comes this girl who claims to be next but was looking at other make up, the cashier cancels my ONE item transaction for her 10 items. While the cashier is ringing her up she's running from place to place looking at different products, by now I've been waiting 20 minutes. Once her transaction is complete as she's walking away she decides to question the cashier to show her another item, if I didn't huff-puff loud enough I'm sure I'd be waiting longer. You know how around Christmas time, you see all of the toy commercials on TV where the kid gasps as he enters a toy store of magic and wonder? It's pretty much the equivalent of a child's heaven. That's how I feel whenever I walk into a Sephora, except my angels consist mostly of deceased grunge rock stars and Brandon Lee; soundtrack provided by big band swing. Daydream aside, the Sephora at the Shops at Pembroke is small if you compare it to Sephoras in New York or Boston. However, since this is the only one near me, it has to make do. The staff here is great. They are friendly, ask if you need help, and back off when you say you're just looking. I've never been harassed here. They are pretty good at getting new lines, but keeping things in stock is a different story. I could easily go into a cosmetic review tirade, but I will just stick to the store for now. You'll be able to find lines like Kat Von D, Stila, Urban Decay, Too Faced, Lorac, NARS, and most of the department store brands. My biggest complaint about this store in particular, and the reason for only giving it three stars, is the stock problem. They always seem to be out of certain things, especially the new Lancome collections. I have gone to the store about three times for a Philosophy skincare kit and it is always out. Always! While you can call the 1-800 number or order on the internet, I like to go to the store and see what's new and just be surrounded by all the different goodies. Colors and sparkles are a makeup barracuda's best friend. It would be nice if things were kept in stock and the store had more events like visits from national makeup artists. I'm very finicky about makeup artists, so I can't really recommend anyone to do your makeup at the store. I would like to give this location a higher rating, but they really should keep up with their stock. If you live in NW Dade and SW Broward, this is the closest Sephora around, which, in my opinion, is always better than NO Sephora. read more

This is my go-to Sephora mainly because the customer service is superb and all the makeup artists working here know their stuff. They are great with finding your shade, which colors work for your skin tone, which products to use for your skin type, and helping you build a make up routine. I have never felt like I am bothering anyone, they are all happy to be helping and give great recommendations. This store is super busy which can be intimidating, but don't be afraid to ask for help. It's very clean in here and I love how they have all the brands separated with enough room to maneuver around the store. I also enjoy smelling the different perfumes in search for a new fragrance or gift. The checkout line is also great because they have small sample sizes of products for you to look at and perhaps buy while you wait your turn in line. They are also very nice about giving samples so you can test a product out first, and they will return your opened product if you don't like it. I highly recommend getting Lauren to help you if you are ever in this store, she is just awesome and so helpful! I must have asked her like a thousand questions and she was so nice, professional and genuine that I bought everything she recommended to me. read more

Sephora has everything from skincare, to perfume, to makeup brushes- everything you need to be pretty! This location isn't my favorite. It's new (at the Shops at Pembroke Gardens), but really small compared to their other locations. Still, they have a good selection of perfumes and skin care products for both men and women. The staff is friendly and helpful. They really know their stuff, so don't be afraid to ask questions- everything from choosing colors to makeup application- they are great! read more

(Sephora inside jcp @pembrokes lake mall) Been going here for two years now almost everyone is nice, but today the treatment I got is terrible I will not go back to this Sephora. Waiting to get a Black Friday beauty blender unfortunate all was sold out at the time I got there, one of the artist told me she will try to see if she can get me one but the "manager" whom know me very well also, refuse to sell me one telling me to come back mid night they will put it back out , I finally came back it's only 40 min away from the time they will put it back out, she decline me again. Superman has his kryptonite and I have Sephora and by that I mean it literally kills me whenever I'm there. Top of the line cosmetic products and a staff to help you find just what you need. I didn't go in there expecting to buy an entire line of products but I was convinced I needed it. I wasn't sure what shade of makeup I need and after asking one of the associates for help he proceeded to give me a mini make over and showed me tips and tricks to get my desired look... Of course I bought all the products he used on me, I looked beautiful and there's nothing I like more than to feel pretty... Well I like cheesecake more. I LOVE Sephora! But this location is so unfriendly and unhelpful. I am used to sephora employees asking if I need help almost immediately , but I would go as far to say that I was IGNORED at this location. All of the employees just stood in groups and spoke spanish as they looked at me. I was helped by Nexy ( for shorter version of name) She was very helpful! I was a bit overwhelmed when I came into the store. I was out for a girls nite out, I looked in my makeup bag before I left & realized it has taken me decades to find out what I love as far as make up goes. Nexy was so helpful, not pushy AT ALL. I told her my story & she showed me the mascara I mentioned & she explained to me what the store had to offer for mascara. She also told me what the store has to offer. How their point card works....so on so fourth. Oh she also told me about Kats Line of lipstick and how people are crazed over it. They've been out of stock of it for like a year! Typically the service here is relatively alright. However I just called to try and make a reservation/makeup appointment and they left me on hold for 10 minutes. Never came back to check or anything. I do t really understand how they operate their business here. For starters, the shelves are bare. Nothing I wanted to purchase was in stock. Maybe this is an issue regarding how things are ordered now due to COVID? But I was incessantly nagged and followed around the store like I was a thief. First of all I would never steal anything, and secondly there's nothing on the shelves to even take LOL. Granted I was carrying a large shopping bag, but what do you expect when your store is surrounded by other retailers? Needless to say I was and still am quite insulted. The only saving grace was in Fragrance and my encounter with the gentleman there was wonderful. He wasn't even a Sephora employee, just a vendor for a few of the fragrance brands who really knew what he was talking about and obviously has an undying passion and education for fragrance and the science behind it. What can I say.....I think I might be addicted to Sephora. That being said if you haven't been in one you are missing out. This particular one in Pembroke Gardens has a very friendly staff. This place definitely profiles customers. I was followed the entire time I was in the store. Others were in the store and left unbothered, it was so bad they changed shifts to continue watching me. I came in straight from work in business attire not lurking went straight to what I was looking for. My girlfriend and I went in here to go pick up some makeup for her and I have to say it wasn't bad at all. The sales girls were pretty easy to talk to and I ended up buying skin cream for myself along with perfume and stuff for my g/f. She was pretty shocked and so was I that I actually bought stuff, so kudos to you guys. I like the product I bought and my girlfriend said that the prices are reasonable. Great location- interesting atmosphere. First experience at this locatiion meh and satisfactory. I went two days in a row so let us begin. DAY 1: I enjoy shopping at Sephora but the majority of women working were not able to assist me, they were too busy playing security in store. I purchased makeup from bare minerals but someone used it and placed it back in the packaging without it looking suspicious... which brings us to DAY 2: Exchanged used makeup found a great eyeliner with the help of the associate standing by the perfume and fell in love with the original sent of Chloe' unfortunately, they have a limited collection of perfume in that store. read more

I will admit, I used to frequent Sephora when I lived near the Aventura mall and before ulta came on the scene. I remembered it being packed and was a little too hip for me. Plus I liked that ulta had drugstore brands like L'Oreal and Cover Girl. But lately I've been disappointed with ulta and sephora carried a brand of perfume I had sampled and loved in my Birchbox. So I headed in and was pleasantly surprised with the number of employees on the floor assisting customers. Totally different vibe than ulta. One helped me locate the perfume with ease. I wandered past the sephora brand foundation and noted how many color options they had. I had literally tried on every foundation at ulta and could never find the perfect combination of color and coverage. And BOOM here comes the 10-hour sephora brand with a huge bottle for $20. I tried a few times to track down someone to help me with choosing the color but they were all busy and the one I did flag down was disinterested in assisting. Even so, I am still pretty happy overall. The cashier was super friendly and told me she was wearing the same brand, and gave me a couple tips to extend the wear. All in all I'm a happy camper. The only downside is finding parking in this busy shopping plaza and it's a bit of a trek for me to get there from where I live. read more

I had such a bad day today because of a run in with a rude client and the neighbor's visitor parking on my driveway. Make-up shopping elevates my mood and so I headed to Sephora to check-out Marc Jacob's new line, I zeroed in on the wonderful selection of lipsticks, strolled to the back to check out some primers that are leaning towards the natural side and while doing this, Kiki, came up from behind me, a very nice sales person who also helped me pick out an everyday foundation. So, when at this store, look for Kiki, she will really make your day! She has a bit of an innovative approach to make-up shopping and showed me the new Color IQ machine pressed on your skin that's able to recommend the right foundation based on your skin tone, I was really fascinated and brought home two foundations. I will keep coming back as it is one exit away. read more
