I had such a bad day today because of a run in with a rude client and the neighbor's visitor parking on my driveway. Make-up shopping elevates my mood and so I headed to Sephora to check-out Marc Jacob's new line, I zeroed in on the wonderful selection of lipsticks, strolled to the back to check out some primers that are leaning towards the natural side and while doing this, Kiki, came up from behind me, a very nice sales person who also helped me pick out an everyday foundation. So, when at this store, look for Kiki, she will really make your day! She has a bit of an innovative approach to make-up shopping and showed me the new Color IQ machine pressed on your skin that's able to recommend the right foundation based on your skin tone, I was really fascinated and brought home two foundations. I will keep coming back as it is one exit away. read more

Never coming back to this location. Had the worst experience today with a rude staff member with no sense of customer service or human decency for that matter. Even the manger in charge I spoke to was some what courteous but completely useless. I usually dislike giving such negative reviews but some of the workers here treat customers like dirt and that's not ok. read more

Today was disappointing I usually come to this Sephora a lot because is so close to my house . I'm also VIP rouge from shopping here so much anyhow I went in today and I asked three associates where was a make up kit for the holidays and they just pointed oh go that way just to shut you off . Whatever happened to walking the customer and help them out hey maybe I would buy something else too in the process of it if they were helpful but they are not . The customer service is not that great and some of the people there don't have a clue when you ask them a question . To me customer service is top priority if you want any business to be successful and this place lacks that . The associates don't show any interest in helping the customer in any way . read more

Oh Sephora....... how do I love thee, let me count the ways......and thanks for finally coming to my hood!!!! From makeup, to perfume, to nail polish.....Sephora takes care of all my girlie needs! For the most part it is a one stop shop for beauty, except they don't sell MAC so I always have to make an extra trip to Macy's for that. If you love to shop at Sephora, make sure you pick one of their Beauty Insider reward cards. Collect points and get free gifts....doesn't get better than that!!!! I love shopping for make up here. The sales associates are really helpful, but the best part is that you can return anything. So if you get an item of makeup home and you realize its the wrong color or you just don't like it, you return it, no questions asked. I love that! This is a great store. The staff are friendly and not snobbish (I've been to other Sephora stores where if you aren't spending a certain amount they have a bit of an attitude). It can be difficult to find what you want but sometimes it's just fun to walk around the entire store and see what's new. During holiday times it can get packed and then it is difficult to get help but it's never been too much of a problem. read more

Initial feeling once you walk in is that there's too many people and the service is not going to be good. Was I wrong. I went to the NARS section where a representative patiently explained the difference between lip colors, foundations etc. $300 later I think I'm good to go! Loved it here. Go see Tramar King! He gave me the ultimate contouring lesson and how to do it all with just one Makeup Forever product. He knows his stuff; not really sure what I THOUGHT I was contouring before. In general, I love sephora and can spend hours in there, but I tend to lose focus of why I went in in the first place... The Staff helped me get to the root of my makeup routine problem. read more

Love Sephora. Unlike other Sephora stores, this one is very quiet and not busy at all. The staff are so nice and friendly. They are very helpful and knowledgable as well. Came in and it was quite busy. Walked around looking for someone available to point me to the new Anastasia glow kit. I love that I can find all the cosmetics I like at Sephora and the design is very chic and easy to locate certain brands and items. Terrible experience!!!!! I am very disappointed of this place. I am not a makeup person but I had an event the day after I visited this location at Shops of Pembroke Gardens. I spent $600 and they didn't have the courtesy to show me how to apply the products. Additionally, when I got home I was missing 4 products. 1 star is too much for this rating. First, don't believe the 4 or 5 stars. This place has consistent poor customer service- since it opened. Also, I just had my makeup done and the service was terrible. I went in hopes that the one artist I like was there. Unfortunately, she wasn't. The foundation looked terrible and I ended up wiping it off. First time at a "stand-alone" Sephora store (I always visit the ones within JcPenny stores in the mall). It was great! Staff on the floor greeted you upon entering and asked if we needed help a few times. As an Interior Designer, I must say that the store was laid out great! Everything spaced well (yet packed with makeup delights!), products were easy to find, good general lighting as well as natural and task lighting for seeing the true colors of the makeup & skincare products we all love to play with and try-on (which is something you don't get in the poorly lit Sephora stores inside of a JcPenny, inside of a mall...hard to tell true colors)! For the first time, I saw the interactive, touch-screen computer systems that they have, for the skincare and fragrances. I was staring at it, when a sweet lady by the name of Rosalind approached me and started telling me all about the machine and how to use it. It was incredible! You can learn so much about any product that you scan or get products suggested to you based on your particular needs entered. I loved it! She took the time to explain the entire thing to me and it is a fantastic tool. I sure am glad she approached me and showed me how to utilize it...we ended up finding the perfect eye cream for "de-raccooning" my eyes LOL! The cashier was very pleasant and happily made a fragrance sample for me. I will be back here definitely. read more

I have nothing good to say about this location. Unlike the much larger, better staffed, and better run Aventura store, this Sephora is beyond disappointing. I dread having to visit this location, makes the make-up shopping experience dull, drab, and depressing. It is uninviting. The manager is undeniably an angry, "you-know-what" and I should have told her where to go with that attitude from down under. The saleswomen are useless. They are literally only good for ringing you up. At times, not even that. A saleswoman once never asked me for my beauty insider card, and even after I gave it to her, never asked if I wanted a gift. I had 700+ points at the time! They offer no assistance, have no knowledge of any of the products that they carry, are unable to recommend or help you chose what is right for you. I was matched to a make up that was obviously not correct for me. I was told that they do not have certain products because they don't carry that brand (but upon further examination I was able to find exactly what I was looking for by myself). I have been stalked around the store by evilly grinning employees who offer no assistance, just watch and follow. I do not feel comfortable going here. The first time that I went to this location, I had to make a return from an online order. I did not like the way that the fragrance smelled and since it was a gift, I had opted for something more likeable by the recipient. When I went to return the item, the manager who took care of it was undeniably rude. She was annoyed, and before I could even explain to her my reason for returning the product, she asked where the bag it came in was. More like "So what happened to the bag that it came in?". Now, I am no genius. but if I were the manager of a store and someone came to return something I would logically think that they bought other items and I would not request that they return a bag to me, just the product. Also, online receipts do not look like receipts for store purchases in any way, shape or form. It is obvious that one is much larger. I am still puzzled as to what she wanted. I would have gladly brought her the box that the package came in but it was in the garbage. The product was returned the SAME DAY that I received it in the mail, only a few hours difference. It was fully sealed an unused, the packaging was pristine. Yet, she examined the product in and out for a good while. I did not like the way she talked to me and she was basically accusing me of trying to cheat the system. But its not like I could exactly strike big on a $50 purchase by credit card. She talked to me as if I were stupid and instructed me to keep my receipt of return for my records as proof of return of my item. Spare the headache if you can and avoid the crowd of the entire Pembroke Pines population in Pembroke Gardens and head to Ulta or somewhere else if you can, like the Aventura store. read more

Love this store and lots of friendly staff to always help. Most of the staff are never pushy about any products they recommend and it's always great you can almost get a sample of most items in the store to try before buying the full size. Always clean and smells wonderful. Conveniently located in Pembroke gardens shopping mall and parking is great on weekdays but beware of weekends. It gets crowded both in the parking lot and inside the store. read more

Very much in need of a team meeting with regard to customer service, specifically demeanor & approachability as well as timeliness and product knowledge. Great cosmetics store. The employees Are very friendly and ways have a smile on their face. They never get annoyed no matter how many question you have. They give free samples of perfume and make up. This is by far the worst Sephora I've ever been to. The employees are incredibly rude and mean. They are not helpful at all. I was asking one of them a question and the employee answered rudely before I could even finish the sentence. They stalk you around the store, not to offer help, but because they think you're going to steal something. AND this has not been just a one-time visit situation...it's every time I've been there I encounter the same situation. Don't get me wrong, I love Sephora and I've been to many where I have never had this problem with the employees. Usually, when you walk into a Sephora all the employees are so nice, kind, helpful, and with a smile, but here is the complete opposite. It's sad too because the store itself is very nice looking and is in a nice location, but man those folks need a class on how to treat customers. NEWSFLASH you need people skills in order to work in retail. For this very reason I'd rather not go back to that Sephora and take a longer drive to another one. Thanks but no thanks.
