The store looked small from the outside, but it's actually much bigger than it seems once you walk in! The layout is pretty standard, similar to other locations, so what really stood out to me here was the customer service and unfortunately, not in a good way. I've been to multiple Sephora locations, and this one was definitely not the friendliest. It took a while for someone to assist me, and when I mentioned that I've gotten tanner since my last color match, she still just seemed to guess my shade instead of properly checking/updating my profile. At checkout, the experience didn't improve. The person at the register just looked at me without saying anything, so I awkwardly started taking items out of my basket myself. When I asked about using my points, he seemed annoyed, which made the interaction even more uncomfortable. I also didn't receive any samples, which is something I've come to expect from past visits. One associate was incredibly pushy and kept trying to make me try on darker foundation shades when I told her multiple times that they wouldn't work for my skin tone. Shout out to Cole who immediately ran to my rescue while the other employees stood around at the front door chit chatting. They didn't even greet anyone, they were standing in a Lil girls club, chit chatting. ‍ SHOULDN'T YOU GUYS be "welcoming in customers" and asking if they need help instead of chatting and gossiping? Very unprofessional!!! Cole was amazing, deserves a huge raise and 6 months off with pay!! Cole approached me with open arms and professionalism. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because I love the products that I got, and the selection. Be'Jean was actually the most normal and kind person working at this store. Sephora PV definitely has friendlier staff. I probably encountered 12 staff members while I was in the store, they were the only person that was kind to me. The overall vibe across the store is how can I serve a bad attitude and be as inhospitable as possible. Considering I spend thousands every year at Sephora and Sephora preaches inclusivity. Customer service is terrible. I had the rudest salesperson I have ever encountered at Sephora when I went in to exchange a product. I've been using the same Drunk Elephant product for years. My mom ordered 2 for my birthday and I ordered 1 for myself as well. When I opened the one that I had purchased, I noticed it had a different smell, color, and texture. When I went online to look at reviews, others complained of the recent formula change. I decided to take the 2 unopened packages that my mom had purchased for me to the Camelback location to exchange them for another brand. I was told that the camelback location doesn't carry that brand, but that I could bring the Drunk Elephant products to the register and that the salesperson could order the other brand for me online and use the credit from the Drunk Elephant products to purchase the other brand. I showed the salesperson the email I received with the gift receipt and she told me that the Drunk Elephant products had been purchased more than 60 days ago, so all she could give me was in store credit, rather than credit that could be used online. I told her that was impossible because my birthday was about a month ago. I showed her the date on the gift receipt email, as well as the date on the email showing when the products were delivered to prove that the products had been purchased in February, which meant I could receive online credit. The salesperson, who claimed to be the manager, argued with me and told me that she didn't care about the date on my email, that her system told her that the products had been purchased over 60 days ago. I asked to speak to another manager and she told me that she was the only manager there and that she would only give me in-store credit. After the manager refused to check my email documentation, I left, taking the products with me. I went to my car and called the number on the email receipt for Sephora online. The customer service rep confirmed that the products had been purchased mid February, not more than 60 days ago. She immediately credited my mom's account so that we can purchase the brand that I want online. I will never shop at the Sephora on camelback again. It's much easier to shop online and the customer service is better. Shame on Sephora on Camelback for not trying harder to make things right. read more

Idk if the parking is free here..? So, I drove down to where I saw regular-looking and parked there, instead of the parking closest to the store. I came here because I ordered perfumes online, very risky lol I mean, I've learned what notes and accents I like for the most part. But, one of the perfumes I ordered, I absolutely detested it! Sadly, it was the Love, by Killian, Don't be Shy fragrance. I only bought it because I saw that it was one of Rihanna's favorites perfumes. But, I didn't like it at all. I even tried smelling it at different times throughout the day because I thought maybe I did or ate something that was throwing the scent off, but no, it just smelt like that lol it so, I was a little disappointed because it had so many great reviews, and I LOVE RiRi, but hey, that's life. But, before I made the trip to Sephora, I used the app and contacted customer support via chat. They ensured me that I could return or exchange the item, no problem! I was delighted to hear that! When I made it inside, I was instantly greeted and asked if I needed assistance. 2 ladies helped me find a perfume that I liked, but, I sadly didn't get either of their names. But, they were a great help! It took awhile for me to find something I liked, as I'm very picky with fragrances. After spending about 40 mins in the store lol I finally found something I wanted! Surprisingly, it was that new Prada fragrance, Paradoxe. I was sooooo happy I was able to make an exchange to get something that I enjoyed because I would've cried real tears if I had to keep that super expensive, stinky perfume lol so I'm super appreciative Sephora let's you easily make returns and exchanges whether or not the purchase is online or in-store! read more

When we walked in, 3 to 4 staff members were chatting with each other and did not greet us. The location is well stocked, was able to find a few hard to find items in this store. A young lady with short honey blonde curly hair (African American) was the only one actively going around asking other customers if they needed any help and was super friendly. More little chatty circles were being formed around the store by the other staff members not paying attention to the customers. This location seems to have more staff than it needs, and some of them need to be retrained. The older woman near the front was loudly lamenting about how she can't find reasonable tickets for the Taylor Swift concert tonight. Fair enough. Apparently a lot of people like her and want tickets. Then she comes over and asks if we need help, but she is the 5th person to ask if we need help. So, we say no thank you and she steps about 5 feet away. She stars to complain to a co-worker about another store. She says she just went to Chandler yesterday, and it "was even worse than Arrowhead now." The male employee she is speaking to asks her, "The clientele?" She replied in the affirmative and continued to complain so we walked away. What she obviously doesn't know is how loud she is so everyone can hear her - or that my daughter and I live in Chandler and normally frequent that location. I have no clue where Arrowhead is, but I guess it's not as bad as Chandler people (like my lowlife family). Anyway, I've worked retail and I know it's stressful- and people are allowed to have opinions but if she wants to vent, she needs to be more professional and not be so vocal about it. I guess I'll go crawl under my rock and go back to Chandler with "my kind."Ironically enough, I've found the staff at Chandler mall to be super helpful and friendly, so I guess it's just the riffraff customers that are the problem. I made an appointment to get my makeup done on my birthday. Going in i was so excited, i've never had a makeup service. By the end of it i was kind of underwhelmed. The girl did an amazing job at my makeup. But. she was not an esthetician, she used waaaay too much of something, my cheeks were cracking as she was setting me. Oh my goodness, I had the BEST experience here! I was in desperate search of the best lip stain/color for my upcoming wedding. You know, the perfect neutral but enough pop to show up in photos? I first went to the Sephora at Fashion Square on a Saturday {DON'T DO IT!}. It was so packed and I didn't get much help/ended up returning the items 2 different times because I was not satisfied with anything that I had picked out for myself. Their mirrors are super tiny so it is hard to get the full effect in the store. SO, I decided to check out the new Sephora at the Biltmore. Cory greeted me IMMEDIATELY and literally picked out the most dreamy color in 2 seconds. {Anastasia Beverly Hills Dusty Rose - YES PLEASE!} I'm obsessed. He knew exactly what I was looking for and i'm so grateful. This store was not nearly as crowded, about triple the size of the Fashion Square location, and amazing customer service to boot. I ended up walking out with way more than I came for {i'm LOVing the new Clinique BB Cream} but everything that I bought is perfect. It goes to show that incredible customer service DOES pay off in the end! ;) I'll absolutely be back again soon! Curbside pick up was a bit confusing especially if you are not familiar with this area. I called the store as the instructions for curbside pickup (inside the app) said to pull into the brown garage and I had no clue what that meant at all! They were extremely helpful the First Lady did have to get another person on the phone who was a bit better with using landmarks to guide me into the garage. I can't even explain where it's at if I tried but all I know is there are charging locations for electric vehicles. After those 15 minutes they came out right away I may have waiters another two minutes given the walk they had to do. I am sure if you are familiar with the area it will take not tile to pick up your curbside order. My next Curbside order should be less than five minutes. I ordered the spf powder. The sun here in Arizona seems to follow me around and it's important that I reapply sunscreen every two hours, and since I have oily skin I decided to try this spf powder. read more

I understand that I came from the gym and I don't look the best but when I go in there to spend over $250 I expected to be treated nicely. I especially love the sectioning of this store..skincare, fragrance, and hair care have their own section of the store. Everything is super easy to find. Today my mission was to get foundation, preferably Fenty by Rihanna. I walked in and ended up asking Lynbeth for help. She was so friendly and easy to talk to. I told her what I was looking for and she immediately used he color iq. Then she went to get testers to see what would match my skin tone and what I would like. I found the perfect shade of foundation in the Fenty by Rihanna line thanks to her. Unfortunately they were out of stock so she told me that I could order it online but in the store and that they would pay for shipping. She also gave me a sample so I could try it on my own. I also asked for her to show me eyebrow gel and we decided to go with the Sephora brand. She also gave me advice for skin care, specifically moisturizing. I've been to many Sephora stores but have never received customer service like this before. I'll definitely keep coming back to this location. The reason why I didn't give them 5 stars was because of the service I received at the register by a different employee. I came in to try to find a new dewy foundation, Friday February 11th at 3ish. The items that I liked were out of stock causing me to do several laps around the store. One of the employees asked me if I needed help almost 5 times within the time span of five minutes, insinuating I was shop lifting. I was dressed down and had comfort clothes on, making me question if that was the reason to it. Shoppers should be allowed to dress comfortably without judgement. This made me uncomfortable and I will not be returning. If you come here make sure you come with all your designer items to not be harassed. Ps.
