I'm thrilled!! This is our first home with septic. Listing agents didn't use reliable septic company, thus false documents and not pumped prior to close of escrow. Used for an Escrow the first time a few weeks back. The pump tech notated that it appeared the a septic wall was collapsing. Pumped and left without a Certification. So then owner called another company that didn't find any damage - and then a third company was called for another opinion - ( to make sure) and they didn't see the damage that was notated. The pump tech was either inexperienced with recognizing actual conditions or pushing for additional business with a sister company he kept recommending. read more

I called on a Monday morning and scheduled an appointment for a tank pumping that Friday. I was told the driver would be there between 12 & 3. That Friday morning I called to confirm and was told that they had an employee out sick and probably wouldn't be able to pump my tank. I explained that my septic tank was full and I needed this done as soon as possible. The woman on the other end of the phone said "I'll call you back in half an hour"......4 hours later I get a text saying "I do not have a backup tech available today, apologies!.....if you are able to wait I can reschedule for Monday......". read more

I have been using another septic pumping service but was not happy with their customer service so I checked Yelp for ratings on other companies. I saw that Septic Pumping Service was getting straight 5 star ratings and I loved that they use a one-of-a-kind truck that is basically a sewage treatment center on wheels. They can recycle the water on the outlet tank saving the cost of filling it back up with fresh water. No other septic company has this. The cost was better than all other companies too, including my old service. Amanda answered the phone and was so pleasant to speak with. She seems like she really cares about the company providing exceptional service. Edgar was the technician who came out and he was extremely nice and very polite. Within the hour, I had 1,000 gallons pumped and recycled, plus they were nice enough to re-mortar my lids since they are right next to my front door. Great customer service! Amanda is the office manager and she went above and beyond to help me identify where my septic lid was located, referred someone to help us dig down to the tank and answered every email I sent her very promptly. When it came time for the pumping to actually occur, the gentleman who came out said everything was in such good condition and so easy to pump that he charged us LESS than the normal cost! Do not recommend. Technician that came was not knowledgeable about my property and was not able to pump the tank because he said his hose was not long enough. The hose was plenty long but he positioned his truck in a location that wasn't close enough to tank. He should have parked around the other side of the house to reach the tank. Damage to my driveway due to weight of truck as well. Came back a second time with owner and presented me with a release to sign for driveway damage. They should have told me about the release before coming back. I sent them away and will go back to Honey Bee Septic Service. read more

These guys came out to pump my tank and left the job unfinished. After a couple of days my plumbing was totally blocked and coming up around toilets. I called them back and Amanda in the office said to call a plumber. I told her I was looking in my tank and it was still full of waste. They refused to come back and then refused to answer my calls Had another company come out and they did a much better job. Said that it didnt look as if it had been done. It was two days later and still full. I watched the new guy and he did a very thurough job. I will not use or recommend this company to anyone. read more

We had a septic emergency last night, gray water started bubbling up through all of the showers and tubs. It was 8:30 at night and we had no idea who to call because everywhere was closed. I had Nate from septic pumping service out to my rental in Bonsall yesterday. The toilets and showers were backed up and they responded after hours which was amazing they were the cheapest and by far had the best customer service of any other company I've called. The tank and leach lines needed work so they recommend repairs and now my tenants can at least flush there toilets. Warning they do not empty your septic tank all the way, only Clear urine no solid waste, They simply tell you they do not want to vacuum rocks, and if you cancel the service at the spot they will still bill you for the full payment and if you don't pay, The owners show up with his gangs Bodyguard at your house, needless to say they want the homeowner to clean the mess simply because septic tanker hose broke down Driver left without cleaning company never called to make an appointment for a cleaning company never called to apologize company never called to offer a discount, instead they call the county code of enforced, and if you're a contractor they will contact the state contractors board just to take revenge from you. For more information about this company negligent or to file a complaint please contact San Diego department of environmental land and water division. They already have a complaint. Funny thing is, I thought I was calling honey bee septic. With that in mind I got a very friendly voice on the other end who politely reset my assumption and introduced himself as Nathan. I come to find out he is the owner of this company. He talked with me about my particular needs for a while and I hired him to go out and locate a septic tank on a property I am buying. Later that day, he called me telling me "he thinks he knows where it is" but because of the logistics of the location (under a slab of concrete and asphalt) he could not confirm. He did not charge me even though he spent the morning probing my land looking for the tank and then recommended me to two other quality companies to help solve my current issues. When I called the other companies I was pleased to find that Nathan had already called them and explained the situation to them. I felt very cared for and while no money has passed between our hands yet, Nathan has earned my business as the septic service of choice for the future of my new home. read more

Amanda, the receptionist is very good. She is knowledgeable and has a very "Can Do" attitude that is willing to accommodate. The owner came out to my house personally to do the job. He is very knowledgeable with a nerdy and outgoing personality. He is happy to teach you everything there is to know about your septic system, what he's doing, and the finer points of your job if you ask. He can recognize the make and model of just about any septic tank whether it's still manufactured or not. He took one look at my tank cover, knew exactly what type it was and where to dig to find the ports. In addition, the system was backed up because of a clog in the piping. He cleared that for free, saving me the expense of hiring a plumber to do it. My septic tank was over 25 years old and in need of repairs. The owner showed me everything that was wrong with it, gave me the make, model, and capacity of my tank. He then listed everything that needed to be repaired, assuring me that the tank would last another 20 years if I did so. After calling some septic repair companies to inspect and give me quotes, I found that his assessment of the repairs needed was spot on. This is great because one of the repair men was trying to convince me that I should let him install a new tank, costing much more money. They use a one-of-a-kind truck that is basically a sewage treatment center on wheels. They can recycle the water on the outlet tank saving the cost of filling it back up with fresh water. No other septic company has this. As for the price, I called for several quotes from different companies in the area and theirs was the cheapest (if only by $10 from the next lowest rate). It is a flat rate for pumping the septic tank and an additional hourly fee if digging is required. This is preferable to other companies where they charge a steep, flat fee for digging. Tried them for the first time today. Very friendly people. Their price was a bit lower than others. I like their concept of treating the septic waste right on site and returning the clean water that has your tank's bacteria in it right back to your system. That is a real plus! Their process makes it so it hardly smells at all while they are working on your tank. I really liked that! They were very thorough and did a great job.
