Fyi there's construction on Ventura right now, so drive around to the back and park up the ramp and they do validate! The front desk was so nice and upfront about copays right away. I was called back quickly for vitals, and Dr. Zadorian was great. He was super friendly, thorough, and clearly explained the treatment plan, wrote my prescription, and gave solid advice on prevention. The facility is spotless, professional, and I was in and out in under an hour. Definitely my new go to whenever something comes up.

There was plenty of it, which is rare compared to other Labcorp locations where parking is usually paid and a hassle. The office is small and was pretty full when I arrived, but even with an appointment, I was called back within just a few minutes. Bernice was handling everything during my visit, and she was amazing. The waiting room had several patients asking questions and feeling impatient, but she stayed calm, organized, and efficient the entire time while keeping things moving. She mentioned it's usually a two-person team, but they were short on supplies that day, so she was holding things down on her own, which made it even more impressive. When it was my turn, she was professional and kind. I usually have very difficult veins and often get poked multiple times, but she got it on the first try. Overall, top-tier service. I would definitely recommend this location. Just be patient if it's busy - they're working hard and doing their best.

For several years I have been going to Labcorp in Tarzana for all bloodwork ordered by my doctors…read more Unfortunately, the last two appointments they cancelled the day before saying they were closing down for whatever reason. This was really an inconvenience so, I switched Labcorp office's and starting going to the one located a 7345 Medical Center Dr., Suite 502 in West Hills. This Labcorp is even WORSE than the Tarzana office. I had lab work in June pending my surgery in July and they lost the bloodwork. My doctor's office said they were able to recover my bloodwork and Labcorp had my birthday mixed up. I had additional bloodwork in July pending a medication that I take weekly and as of today, the bloodwork is still NOT uploaded in my patient portal. My doctor's appointment is tomorrow to review this bloodwork. You can never reach anyone at the West Hills office. I have left 3 phone messages and now 3 messages via "patient inquiry." I highly recommend to my Yelp Peeps not to go either office. I no longer will, since I am very disappointed with the lack of service at both Labcorp offices.

Quest has eliminated a proper reception desk, which forces patients who are dropping off test…read morespecimens or paperwork to wait on line. What should be a simple drop off is now a 45-60 wait, as a "walk-in". This is not efficient for the paying customers, and exploits sick people in need for business profits. Why treat people like this? To save money paying for a reception? Treating patients as employees? Patients don't work for you, Quest. You make money off of us, that isn't good enough for you?? You put your clinicians into the awful position of exercising this cruel treatment on regular people. How do they feel about this exploitation? This is not how business works. You offer a service that expects specimen drop off, it is unacceptable to demand patients wait as a "walk-in" "appointment". Drop offs are NOT appointments. And your sick patients are not yours to expect to do your work for you or wait until you find time between other sick patients. Doctors send you business. Behave like you deserve to earn it, Quest.

You can do a pre-check-in then just scan the QR code when you are at the place. I went early before my appointment, check in then I was called in no time. I was impressed. The Phlebotomist was friendly and made me comfortable, and the first draw was smooth. Then here comes the catch - she didn't take enough vials for a certain color, so she has to stick me again. Waaa. I told her I didn't want to be probed in the same arm. My right arm isn't good as the left; she called another Phlebotomist to help her. At first no blood came out, so they have to adjust the needle. By looking at it, it makes you not to be probed anymore. It doesn't hurt though. And they were able to get what they needed. This is a good place for a phlebotomist to do their externship. They will enhance their skills. Limited parking. Decent gender-neutral public facility.

Check in was easy and a front desk staff member called us soon to explain to us that they accept Medicare, but not her supplemental insurance, so we should go to a Foundation lab where they will accept my Mom's both insurances. We like how thoroughly and courteously the lady explained everything. Parking is free and plenty.
