First time visiting this Labcorp location and I had a really great experience…read more The biggest surprise was the parking. There was plenty of it, which is rare compared to other Labcorp locations where parking is usually paid and a hassle. The office is small and was pretty full when I arrived, but even with an appointment, I was called back within just a few minutes. Bernice was handling everything during my visit, and she was amazing. The waiting room had several patients asking questions and feeling impatient, but she stayed calm, organized, and efficient the entire time while keeping things moving. She mentioned it's usually a two-person team, but they were short on supplies that day, so she was holding things down on her own, which made it even more impressive. When it was my turn, she was professional and kind. I usually have very difficult veins and often get poked multiple times, but she got it on the first try. Overall, top-tier service. I would definitely recommend this location. Just be patient if it's busy - they're working hard and doing their best.

Labcorp - I'm smiling because Lily was so gentle. I didn't even know she took my blood.

This is probably the best Quest location in the valley, as far as I'm concerned. This is the second…read moretime I've had bloodwork done here and the staff I've worked with are so kind, with a great level of attention to detail. As a nurse, I know what to look for and appreciate when you can tell someone actually cares about their work. I can't remember who helped me last time (though I think she was in the first cubby on the right, sometime last year), but I was having around 20 vials of blood drawn including some very specialized labs, & she took her time ensuring she had all the right tubes for the right labs, as well as enough of them. She also found a billing error in my chart, which she facilitated the correction of. As far as I know, she did not have to do that; it was above and beyond. Today I had my blood drawn by Jamus (I think that's what his name tag said, I'm sorry if I misremembered!) and he got more than he bargained for when he asked me how my weekend was and my response was "rough." But instead of shying away from what could've been an awkward conversation, we had a laugh, and he asked me what happened. He was very sweet to listen & sympathize with me, especially as a fellow pet parent. He didn't have to do that either! He was also very gentle with the blood draw & let me know before I left how long the labs were expected to take to process. This location is also not overly crowded, and they do have a parking structure, though they unfortunately don't validate. I was able to find street parking today but I don't remember it being as expensive as the parking for the Quest locations in Burbank near the hospital. I'll be coming back here next time I need bloodwork done that I can't get drawn at my doctor's office. Thank you!!!

I have never written a review for any service no matter how negative my experience as I understand…read morepeople have bad days and would never want to affect the livelihood of any employee doing their best. With that being said, I genuinely feel it is in the best interest of people's health to know how ineffective the Quest service is. I want to be clear this has little to do with the employees I came into contact with this day, as they are simply working under a flawed system. After going to four different locations over the past two days, I witnessed almost everyone on the waitlist being turned away (some after waiting hours) and even people with appointments being made to wait that long. At 2:30pm I witnessed an elderly woman be told she wouldn't be seen and to go home - she explained she'd been there since 10:30am. In my case, I was turned away as I ran a few minutes late for my appointment and, because they themselves were running behind, I was told I was not able to be seen. I was doubled over in pain and explained to them I will be leaving town the next day, so this was the only time I would be able to come in for my appointment (which was simply a drop off). After speaking to three different people, they let me know there was no way I could drop off what I needed to. Once again, no knock to them as this is simply a problem with the Quest service. I understand I was late, but how is there no wiggle room for a service dealing with urgent medical needs? I simply needed to drop something off that I was holding in my hand. They told me I'd need to fill out paperwork in addition to my drop off, but why couldn't I do that in the waiting room like every other doctor's office in America? They suggested I go to the Burbank location as that one is open later, and upon getting there, I was also told I might not be seen. If you have any urgent medical testing need, PLEASE do anything you can to avoid using Quest. I cannot believe the needs of patients is put in the hands of such an ineffective, and quite frankly inhumane system. Like I said, I have visited four locations in the past two days and this dynamic in the waiting room was present at all four. I ignored all of the countless negative reviews at every location, which I now regret.
