The associates are friendly, welcoming, and genuine. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and I noticed they recognized and acknowledged repeat customers. That's impressive, especially considering the number of tourists who visit the store. Another thing I appreciated is that they don't overwhelm you with emails. Their emails are event-focused and purposeful, which is refreshing. You're paying for quality, craftsmanship, and unique items you won't find just anywhere. She wrapped up my wind chime and bagged the card (now discovered to be two). When I got home, I phoned them right away when I saw the other card was stuck to it! I explained what happened and asked to pay for the mishap! Gigi was extremely helpful in figuring out how I could do so and thanked me for my honesty. I'm just glad we could sort it out! So just be aware if you pick up a greeting card to check another card isn't stuck to it! The pricing of items: very fair! presentation of the overall store: very good! customer service: great! Here you can find a wide variety of hand-crafted goods. And there is quite a myriad of objects on display. There are a large number of hand-woven bags, rugs and tapestries for use or display (or both). One wall is almost entirely devoted to jewelry. And there's a very large collection of pottery, including bowls, dishes and coffee mugs. This place is an excellent place to shop for those who are intrigued by foreign cultures. And the prices are extremely reasonable. And besides for being reasonable, you can find nice pieces in the under ten dollar range, well into the one hundred and fifty or more. There really is something for any budget. I was greeted when I entered the store and asked if I needed help...but was not asked every five minutes (something that I see as a major plus). There's a cashier at the front and not much interaction, but I prefer this over some of the older locations where they'd hover over you. I came in for downsizing my two piercings after about 2 months since the initial piercing. I'm…read morehappy to report the appointment went smoothly and apparently everything is healing really well, which of course allowed for the downsizing to happen. Kat did the downsizing procedure this time and she was just as cool to work with as the first time I saw her. Kat's great because she makes you feel so comfortable and she really takes her time to explain what she's doing every step of the way. Switching out the helix post was nice and easy, the flat was a little more tender and a tiny bit painful (it got bumped a few more times during healing so far compared to the helix due to its location), but it calmed down after about 20 minutes, so it was not a big deal at all. Kat also told me despite the bumps/snags the flat experienced, the piercing was still lying perpendicular the way it was initially pierced, which is good news. Downsizing costs $15 per post and $10 for the service + tax. You get to keep your old posts too. Best of all, just like last time, they sterilize everything. It's now been a couple of days since downsizing and everything feels and looks great! Looking forward to these piercings healing up nicely, I can't wait! I still highly recommend JuL Head Piercing, they're great!

how sad. does anyone even care that this is one of the last remaining antique shops on mission in…read moresouth pas? the rest have been closed and replaced by trendy clothing boutiques, interior design crap holes and effen Bellini - the Barney's NY of baby-world. i have to frequent these places partially out of fear they may succumb to a demise not unlike the Rialto but mostly because although I can't identify the proper use of most of the utensils sold here, I still love them. the place smells of old dust, but you cant see any of it. it's quiet; they could probably use better lighting and some music. but it's filled with books, dolls, drapery, furniture, china, pictures, records, jewelry - everything. it's a hodgepodge, really, but what antique store isn't? out of my own curiosity, i'd love to be able to sit and rummage through some of the boxes and closed cabinets, but things are piled upon piles and even closed off - that's probably my only gripe. that, and the gold fish tank they have there looks a little grimy. someone needs to change their water.
