I was shocked and concerned about the lack of respect for a member's information. When I asked about corporate security in place against breech of information there was no reassurance. I have climbed thousands of floors, attended plenty of classes, weighed myself many times on the BMI scale,and cried plenty of tears here. Going to a gym can be intimidating especially for newbies. I have always felt welcomed here. The group fitness classes are absolutely superb. All of the instructors are very passionate about the classes they teach. I have been to the most classes with Jacqueline and she is an excellent teacher. She makes sure the classes are always welcoming and always keeps the class exciting with a new routine. If you're looking to kickstart your health journey, MFC is definitely a good place to be!

First of all, the gym itself is much larger than you would realize just driving by it! There is the upstairs is where the treadmills live, along with other cardio machines, cable machines, and more. Downstairs there are two other rooms that connect, free weights in both. A couple things that I noted about this gym is that while yes they have a lot of equipment, there isn't much of a warm up area for stretching nor is there yoga mats, bands, or stuff like that (at least not downstairs). A lot of the equipment is kinda old, and I would imagine that it would take a bit of prior planning to structure a workout where you're not going back and forth from room to room for each exercise. Also take a few times there to get a feel for where all the different things are. Parking situation can be a little crowded since they share a parking lot with other businesses. Love the 24 hour access option here though, so depending on the when you go you can really feel like you have the gym to yourself! Overall, I don't have many complaints, just didn't feel like this gym was a fit for me!

Membership Pros: a…read morelot of equipment and space to workout! Cons: these jokers are scammers! I had the Qfit membership but realized I was not using all of the services. I also went to another location downtown Salem,which was horrible facility wise (see previous review with pictures). So, I decided to downgrade my membership to the basic. Do you know these jokers said that I had to pay $10 per membership to downgrade? So essentially I would pay $20 to downgrade to basic from the QFit (i.e., $10 for premium and $10 for basic). I ended up cancelling and going beck to planet fitness. These jokers also charged my card when I cancelled without telling me or notifying me for the reason. I checked the my cancellation document and the contract and didnt see anything about the extra money they charged. Not happy with their service. I have attached the contracts, which has nothing about being charged extra money for downgrading memberships other than annual membership fee.

Even after 3 months off during the first year for illness and surgeries, I recently completed 100 workouts and received a prize and certificate.
