Actual Ethiopian beans. Check! Bagel and lox sandwich. Check! French pressed coffee. Check! I am always on the lookout for quality beans and Mobile has been a surprisingly great source. I happened upon this location thanks to Yelp (and the close proximity to my hotel) and it has become my go to for breakfast and coffee all week. The menu is pretty extensive and based on what I've had so far, I'm eager to explore it a bit further. read more

The coffee may be good, but the service is seriously lacking. Multiple orders after ours received their food first. No one bothered to go check on our food until they were prompted. Food finally arrived cold. Numerous customers waited to place an order while the staff gathered behind the bar chatting with each other. read more

Serda's is great. When I am working from our Mobile office, it's the perfect stop for a morning coffee (love the ice cube choice) and a snack. It has outdoor seating, if you have the time, and friendly staff. Plenty of space if you need to meet with other people. Outstanding mocha latte! I stop here about half the time I'm passing through Mobile. It's just a few minutes off of the 10. Parking is never an issue unless there is a parade downtown. They have great sandwiches which aren't too filling and a huge and ever-changing selection of gelato! They also give a good military discount. read more

Its a great little coffee place, right on Royal St. and close to a lot of the better hotels downtown. The really cool thing is they have a full bar so you can get a few drinks and hang out if your not in the mood to go to a bar bar. Their bagels were a little on the stale side but that could easily be a one-off. Every time I go to Mobile we always get a coffee at Serda's and you should to. This place made taste buds dance! I came here for the coffee and decided I was hungry enough to grab brunch. Thinking that a wrap might be light enough, I ordered the Sante Fe wrap. Now I was hoping this wrap would have some corn because of the name, but never the less when the food came out it was delicioso. The wrap was a hot cheesy combo of chicken and Monterey Jack cheese. Serda's is located in downtown Mobile. Great atmosphere and staff, delicious coffee. Way better than anything you'd get at a Starbucks.

On business to Mobile, I found Serba's and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the staff helpful and patient, and the coffee top-notch. I didn't get the chance to eat any menu items, but the fare looked fresh and tasty. The prices were reasonable, too. I certainly will make an effort to get back to this local gem. Great place for a coffee, snack, or light meal. We stopped here before checking in at the Battlehouse. There is great art from local artists that adorn he place. Cool ambience to chill and hangout and there's a full bar as well! Gelato looks delicious. My party all had the panini. Turkey Artichoke was on point but all of the sandwiches were runny . I recommend getting the potato salad as your side, which tasted great. The staff was also friendly. We had a gift card and there were problems with it but they were very patient and figured it out. Great pit-stop if you are in downtown Mobile. Thanks for the hospitality. read more

On 12/28/19 at 8am I went to Serda's for a coffee to go. 2 young women were working behind the counter. I ordered a cappuccino, and was treated so rudely by both women. Being a business owner for over 27 years it must be such a luxury to not have to worry about being kind or caring to your customers. I wasn't trying to make idle chit chat, I tipped etc. Horribly rude, uncaring, and unkind....these two employees should not be in the service industry. It was such a bad experience I did not buy my wife a pastry and did not ask her if her coffee was good. It didn't matter to me because I will never go back. read more

The drip coffee was less than desirable. It might have been because the cashier gave me the skunk and didn't top off with freshly brewed. She didn't seem to be happy being at work today and it clearly showed with her lack of professionalism. My husband, who normally enjoys Starbucks' chai tea lattes & caramel macchiatos, felt his chai tea latte was so sweet & only drank 1/3 of it and called it quits. I love this coffee spot! I usually just got a regular coffee when I come here but I absolutely love the atmosphere in here. If you like doing some work in a coffee shop, this is a great place to do it. They have a really eclectic style with different seating areas, along with tables and couches.
