Serene. Serenberry's location is a bit off the beaten path but worth the time to visit this peaceful, restorative place. The wines are good. Both the reds and whites are worthy and if you have someone in the group with a sweet tooth, steer them to the Cooper's Creek Peach. They do have a selection of Georgia- based snacks so you can nosh with your flight/glass/bottle OR bring a picnic to enjoy on the grounds. Dogs are welcome in their outdoor spaces but not in the tasting room. There's plenty of parking and plenty of peace. The location is everything. read more

One of the best boutique wineries we've been to and that includes California. Not by the number of wine selections but the quality of their wines they produce. Janice, the owner spent a lot of time explaining the history of the property and how they became Serenberry Vineyards. Small family owned , beautiful outdoor tables and chairs for tasting and the wine tasting room looks great once opened. Most of all I loved their wines. Had a fabulous white similar to a Sauvignon Blanc and loved the Cabernet Blend. Wines had just amount of fruit forwardness to them. Can't wait to come back for more. They do ship within the US. It was a beautiful day, 64 degrees and sunny. Great day to wine taste outside. And yes, we bought 3 bottles of our 3 favorite wines to take home. read more

As we drove down the road leading to the vineyard my partner jokingly said, "I think we're going to someone's house." It ended up being the perfect description - the staff are so warm and kind, welcoming you as if you share the space. It has a humble appearance but you quickly realize how much intention was put into the design. Essentially, it really feels like someone is welcoming you into their home. We tried the red and white/rose flights. The red flight was a winner - we had a hard time choosing a favorite between the Hemptown and the Blue Ridge Red and also really liked the Railroad. We had been told that GA wines tend to be sweeter, which isn't really our preference and had been our experience at a few other wineries here. But at Serenberry, all of the reds are dry or semi-dry and we enjoyed each one. For the white flight, the Snow White was my absolute favorite! It is described having a finish of green apple, and while I typically don't taste or feel the "notes", this one I did. Tart and delicious! They also serve a port style red if that appeals to you. Then there's the ambiance. We came on a cool fall day and they have a fire pit and a fire place outside with seating all around. They have cute decorations adorning the walkway made from wine bottles. A really beautiful setting for a nice day with a bottle or glass of wine. read more

A beautiful vineyard nestled down a single car path. Really feels like you found a wonderful gem visiting this location! Our hostess was so kind and was very helpful with guiding us through the different wines available. Got the Morganton Rose' and ended up sticking with that for the rest of the visit. I'm usually a Red Wine person so this was a great change of pace for me. Highly recommend you check out this wine; very soft, not too sweet, good for any occasion! Beautiful vineyard! We came for a wine tasting and enjoyed a sample of 7 different wines that were made at the vineyard for only $8! Kayla was our hostess, very nice and in informative. After our tasting we were able to walk through the vineyards and it is so beautiful. They also have seating in the shade if you want to buy a bottle of wine and just sit outside and relax. Charming little winery that is a true gem for the Morganton area. My husband and I came here with our two dogs and sat on the beautiful covered back patio. We each did a wine flight. I enjoy sweet wine so I went with the sweet option of the flights, they were delicious and extremely sweet. You are allowed to bring your own snacks along as well. There is no service on the back patio but you just order inside and bring it out yourself. It is a beautiful setting and feels like a hidden gem. read more

I love Serenberry and always have a great time whenever I go there. My most recent visit was on March 7th, and I enjoyed an excellent tasting lead by the winemaker's nephew, who's name I only wish I could remember! (My previous visit was years ago on a quiet Saturday afternoon.) The wines were fantastic and he did an excellent job of keeping up with everyone at the tasting bar, since there were 8 people total there. When I say that "the wines were fantastic", I mean that the wines I tasted were complex and rich, well made, and sophisticated. My favorites were the Morganton Rose', the Railroad Red (bought a bottle), Blue Ridge Red, and the Aska Red (hubba, hubba, this wine is rich, velvety, and STRONG! I regret not buying a bottle). If you are partial to rich reds, this is the Vineyard for you! The real highlight was the experience. The wonderful man pouring our wines obviously loved wine, loved *these* wines, and drank them often. You could tell that he spoke from a place of personal experience and pride. Having moved here from Virginia where I visited wineries constantly, Serenberry is officially one of my favorite Georgia wineries! read more

We visited Serenberry Vineyards on a recent vacation to Blue Ridge, Georgia. Serenberry Vineyards is located in Morganton, Georgia just a few short country miles from Blue Ridge. On one of our previous trips to Blue Ridge, we went to a winery and quickly realized we were underdressed and out of place so we crossed our fingers that Serenberry would be more laid back. We were also traveling with our infant daughter. Who takes a baby to a winery? We do! Pulling down the gravel road, we passed multiple country homes (one even had two very fat pigs penned up out front) before dead ending into the vineyards. We were surprised to be the only car in the parking lot but we ventured into the tasting room where we were greeted with a warm welcome. We were greeted in the tasting room by Mary who gave us two tasting options - $4 for four wines or $7 to try all seven. It was a no-brainer that I wanted to try everything the winery had to offer while my husband opted to try only the reds. Mary poured our first glass and encouraged us to make ourselves at home and wander around the winery. She would be waiting for us when we were ready for our next taste. We sipped our wine in chairs around a fire pit. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we watched the sun start to set behind the vineyards. My favorite wine from the selections was Swan White, a crisp white with hints of green apple, though I also enjoyed Apple-lachian Harvest, a seasonal dessert wine made from an assortment of apple varieties from Merciers Orchards. My husband preferred the Blue Ridge Red, a Cabernet Sauvignon with black cherry flavors and a bit of oak. Serenberry's other wine options included Tipton's Treasure White, Railroad Red, Little House White, and Hot House Red, each with their own distinct flavor profiles. We loved the laid back atmosphere at Serenberry Vineyards, a far cry from our snobby winery experience in years past. We truly felt at home and wished we could stay after dark to enjoy more wine around the fire pit. As we were packing up to leave, more cars pulled in with patrons looking to taste the wine. If you're planning a trip to Blue Ridge, we highly recommend you take a little bit of time out of your afternoon to enjoy Serenberry Vineyards. And maybe you'll leave with a bottle or two as a souvenir from your visit. read more

We first went to the vineyard about a year ago. Quaint, small, nice views to the meadow and vineyard. My sisters came down from Ohio to visit several wineries over the weekend and we took them to some places we liked.. Out of the 7+ we visited, only Serenberry would only let 3 of the 6 of us in the building (even though we had been in the same vehicle together). We ordered the wine tasting from a glorified porch, they were the only vineyard to require a mask. No explanation/story behind each wine. Just take you tasters and go outside. Half of us passed and then we just left. Nice place. Decent wine. Bad customer experience. read more

This small winery is tucked away down a dirt road off the main drag. It's about 10 miles away from downtown Blue Ridge, but it's worth the drive. We are visiting from Florida, and had passed their sign on the way to the swinging bridge. We actually got lost, turned around, and headed to the winery to see if they could help and to have a glass to calm our nerves at not being able to find the swinging bridge. Not only did they help us find the it, but the wine was so good we bought a bottle! I highly recommend stopping here while visiting Blue Ridge. It's wide open, super safe, and the focus remains on a great experience for everyone who drives up to their cute little winery! read more

Very disappointed. Out of town and called Wednesday and was told they were doing tasting. Drove all the way out here and was told only glass or bottle. Don't even know if I like their wines. Glass is $9.50 and a bottle is $18-$22. U do the math. Of course if I liked one or more would have bought the bottle. Won't return. Waste of time. There was nowhere that it stated my husband and I had to wear a mask (though he was wearing one) and I DID speak with a person on that day. If I hadn't talked to someone I never would have driven that far. But it's okay cause Odom springs winery was soooo much better and friendly and we bought 4 bottles from there!! read more

They were out of my favorite wine yesterday, but that just tells you it's some good stuff. The ladies who pour for the wine tastings are very nice and knowledgeable. I took a group of 30 to the winery and bought bottles to taste the wines. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating to our group - they went above and beyond and set up a bin with ice for the whites and brought out extra chairs. The property and building were amazing and the wines were outstanding, much drier than a lot of what you find in GA. Our group enjoyed them all, particularly the Blue Ridge Red and Swan White. We even enjoyed the sweeter Cooper Creek Peach quite a bit. Excellent experience! read more

We were there when this charming place opened at 11:00 this morning. If you are looking for an intimate wine tasting experience, this is the winery for you. It is an old home that has been restored and the tasting room is rather small and Arnie is extremely personable. She walked us through the selections (7 in all) and gave us a "scorecard" to take notes on. We met Kayla, whose family owns the winery and were the only ones there for about 20 minutes. A party of 20 or so came in but it still didn't feel crowded. We toured two others today but cannot wait to go back here. Well done! read more

This is a great winery for a visit and to buy wines. Friendly family and pet friendly beautiful location - even a fire pit and picnic spot. Inexpensive wine tastings and crackers to buy. Owner was demonstrating grape crushing and giving info to visitors. Casual and low key, but a real gem. Their Apple-Lachlan Harvest dessert wine is fabulous if you like very sweet and smooth wine.
