I guess I'm just accustomed to luxury theaters with reclining chairs and seat warmers. Here, I found the experience a bit lacking. When I ordered popcorn, they filled my bag halfway, and I had to trek over to the butter station to finish it off. When I asked for salt, they didn't have any--just some orange seasoning that I decided to skip. I also expected the lights to dim once the movie started, but they stayed on throughout the film, which was frustrating since I was sitting right under one of them. The parking behind the theater was large and had so many parking spaces close to the theater entrance. We came at the last showing though, so that contributed. Entrance wasn't really easy to determine from the back parking though, we just assumed where the doors were. The line to buy tickets and concessions took a little time since there was only one person at the cashier but it wasn't so bad. Seats are comfy and the overall service was good. read more

I got inspired to write this after reading that asshole christian a's review. i come here occasionally with my grandparents to see movies, and the staff has always been above and beyond kind to us and good about the numerous questions we always have. Their friendliness and welcoming attitude always stood out to me. I've also never seen any of them look unclean, as having piercings and a different style does not equal uncleanliness. That is an ignorant backwards way of thinking. Onto the theaters - they're clean and comfortable, and sometimes you'll be the only ones there. It's the most peaceful movie theater i've ever been to. The only bad thing i have to say is that when i saw Coraline, the projection stretched outside of the screen and spilled out onto the walls so I don't think it was optimized too well. However, that was the only time that's happened. read more

I don't know why people diss on this location. The staff is always friendly to us, the sodas are "all you can drink", and there's tons of parking. The way the theatre sits on the property makes it a bit of a walk to get inside, but that's because it's attached to a mall. It's only a mild inconvenience. The seats lounge and are very comfortable. The employees seem very friendly. The bathroom was clean. Today was our first visit to this theatre, and we were very impressed. If there is another movie we'd like to see in the future while it's at the theatre, we'll definitely be back. We went to a matinee time earlier in the day so the price was reasonable in today's economy. read more

This theater has seen my presence only a few times these last couple of years, but it was for the sake of Star Wars related movies. And they have done well each time. This past time was for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Now I will say that it is a part of the mall so time of day/day of the week/week of the year plays a part in your parking availability. That said, there is a mall entrance to keep you warm/dry if you are the passenger. They have what most have as far as concessions; snacks, Coke Freestyle machine, and limitless butter for the popcorn. Once you make it to your seat, you will find it has a nice reclining feature and cup holding on either side. I have always found the team here to be friendly and the latest features to be offered. If you are looking for something else, you might want to consider staying home. *Insider's Tip -Buy the tickets online. It's 2017 (almost 2018), just do it. read more

Great service, nice movie times to fit any schedule. Very comparable with prices anywhere else. Very clean.

Finally, they are open. It seems like they have been building this theatre for years. Anyway, I really like this theatre, not because it is the closest to me but because everything is new and up to date. They have 12 theaters to see and it's convenient to the mall. My Mother and I decided we wanted to see the new Incredibles movie and as I am an AMC lover we drove down from Athens, TN to this location. I pre-purchased our tickets through Fandango before we left home to make sure we would get in and then arrived an hour and 15 minutes before showtime to get our seat assignments. After arriving at the theater we discovered that they don't assign seats, but we went ahead and checked in anyway, got our tickets and then went shopping. We arrived back at the theater 30 minutes before showtime and decided to go ahead and take our seats. I was surprised that we were the first ones there, but figured it was a smaller theater and folks would be trickling in. Fifteen minutes before showtime I decided to go get our popcorn and soda. I was concerned that we were still the only people in the theater and when I walked into the hallway I noticed that the sign did not show the movie and time as it did for the other theater rooms. When I got to the counter I questioned the young man about it and he said everything was fine. I was still feeling uneasy so I asked him to please so check. Sure enough, he sent the manager over who explained that they were having problems with the camera in that theater and the showing had been cancelled. She explained that they should have told us that when we picked up our tickets. This is where the rating I was going to give this theater took a turn: The manager was very apologetic. She offered us multiple choices as to what we would like to do including waiting for the next showing, going to another AMC theater, coming back on another day, etc. When I explained that I was from Atlanta and my Mom was from Athens, TN she totally understood why we would not be able to return and did not want to wait another three hours for the next showing. To compensate for us not being told upfront about the cancelled showing she gave us coupons for four movies, two small popcorns and two small drinks to use on a future date. This is exactly how a manager should handle these types of situations. This small gesture on her part has kept me as a loyal AMC customer and converted my Mom to AMC as well. I will also be recommending this location to my friends and family that live in the area. read more

I am giving this AMC one star. They had bedbugs!! Like no joke on theater 7! My boyfriend and I went to watch the new Despicable Me: Origin of Gru. He said he felt something bite and saw sobering crawling up his white tshirt. He hit it off course and knocked it off after killing it. Went to the bathroom and saw blood on his shirt thinking it was guts. When he went to wash his haha he saw bedbug carcasses on the sink. He came back and told me so we jetted. The movie started at 7:30 and we left at 8:15. I went to the managers and asked for a refund for the tickets, popcorn, nachos we bought! They said, "we can only order you ticket comp no cash back." I worked with that but was annoyed because no company for our food. Then I asked, "are y'all going to block off the theater and bathroom and check?" They said yes and we went home. I was irritated to find my ticket comps was expired so I went back the next day! Luckily the general manager was there. I made my case and he explained that the tickets would be honored and gave me two additional popcorn tickets and two drink tickets as well. I happily took my butt to Huntsville AMC and watched the new Jurassic Park movie. Ticket comps were honored but I feel bad for anyone that went there and ended up taking them home unknowingly without a refund and having to pay for infestation. Luckily my boyfriend caught the one on him and we both took showers and threw our clothes in a laundromat dryer instantly. I also had seat covers in the truck to throw away but that's not anything I'd wish on ANYONE. They get one start ONLY because the managers didn't do well with making my situation right by all means. That's also why I'm leaving this yelp review (which I hate doing!) that theater needs to be shut down and I'll NEVER shop at that mall because clearly ppl have bedbugs and don't even care. This Bradley Square Carmike literally just ruined the premiere of Christopher Nolan's Interstellar for me and the audience. Not only did we hear everything going on in theater rooms next to us (loudly), but the projector was actually out of focus! For the feature presentation! And this, not only after the staff checked it, but even after the manager went up herself! What was really the worst part about it is that after failing at correcting the issue, the manager walked down and said "I'm sorry guys, that's the best I can do." Literally left it like that expecting us to continue watching the movie out-of-focus. You'd think they'd have the initiative to offer a refund for everybody or switched rooms or stopped the presentation. Absolutely not. Absolutely mediocre fix & response to the issue. I've actually never witnessed something like this before, they were simply indifferent about it. Like, "Oh, well... Bye." The reason I mention the refund [that should've happened automatically courtesy of the management, and didn't] is that sometime before this - at a Regal Cinemas theater that had a minor hiccup before the [non-premiere] feature I went to - actually compensated the entire audience with various free IMAX tickets. Redeemable anytime. Clearly the right course of action & courtesy. Not here. And that's minor compared to their ACTUAL expectation that we should be fine watching an awaited EPIC, like Nolan's Interstellar, through a BLURRY SCREEN. I'm not one to criticize negatively, but this is just unacceptable. Stay away from this facility if you intend to respect the work filmmakers have put in the feature you want to watch by getting the proper experience and professional setup elsewhere. Movies deserve to be appreciated and not just "thrown" into some subpar-quality screen. Hope this helps someone rescue their next [premiere] experience before they lose it by showing up under an unpredictable circumstance like me. This location is sadly unprepared to handle those. Let's start from the beginning. Parking: It's a fairly busy mall so parking is kind of a hassle, but no more than any other theater during peak times. However entry is behind the building. So instead of the entrance being right on the road you have to walk WAY around to enter. There is no cover or anything so if the weather is less than favorable you have a nice long walk in it before you can get inside. Ticket/Concession Lines: The reason these are together is because they are sold at the same place. Which seems like as convenience but most certainly is not. Concessions are generally slow at any theater, but at ticket purchasing to the equation and you have a downright disaster. A nice long wait. There is an express lane for fandango purchases... But that means you paid the $2 convenience fee on Fandango, and still have a possibly of standing in that line. Kiosks: There are none. Not one your only option is to waste away in the rediculous lines. Concessions: The food is standard fair. Good variety. The soda and popcorn are self serve. I love this except those areas feel chaotic and unorganized. But being able to butter up my popcorn and make the most epic Coke Freestyle Suicide ever off sets this disorder and mess. Movie Experience: Movie is experience is good. Seats feel plenty large for people of all sizes and the picture and sound is perfect. They have the "Big D" which isn't a sex thing, but I instead their premium movie experience. It's very nice and comparable to Regal's RPX. But it falls far short of the IMAX experience. In short Carmike tried a bunch if things that in my option ultimately fail. This is the same format I have seen in Marysville, TN at Foothills Mall, so I'm sad to see it's a trend. It would have gotten more stars if I could get to my theater without all this other junk, but I can't so it didn't get more stars. It's all you have in Maryville right now so drive to Knoxville. read more

I enjoy watching films at this AMC theater. It is conveniently located near my home. All the staff I have dealt with are very friendly. I give lots of credit to the ushers who have to clean up after people who drop popcorn and leave drink cups and trash behind. Do you drop food and drinks in a restaurant or your home??? No! This is my last option to go see a movie at. Only Saw two movies here and both times the movies didn't start on time. It took 20mins or more to even see previews for other movies coming out. Even when the previews did play nothing was shown on the screens. Eventually got tired of waiting and finished my popcorn and drink before the actual movie started. I am glad I came here. The theatre is very new and nice. The chairs where very comfy and the sound and quality of the picture is great. The only observation I had is that they do not have a ticket counter, you purchase the tickets at the food counter. It's a little annoying but I guess it's a strangely so ppl will buy more food. read more

I would give this movie theater a negative one if possible. Absolutely the worst experience. The prices for everything is absurd. 8.25 for nachos, THAT DONT COME WITH CHEESE. THATS EXTRA. The TOTAL for the nachos are ten dollars!! What is this?! The ticket distributors aren't any help in explaining why this was so expensive, and do not care. I am baffled as to why EVERY theater doesn't do tickets and concessions together. The line got long and they quickly opened up registers and worked through the people. Great theater layout, popcorn was great, and perfectly acceptable service. I would love to see more movies here. read more

Just the worst theater. They force you through the concession line to get a paper ticket. Spent over 20 minutes just to get a paper ticket even though I got my ticket on line . Waiting behind people ordering food that had to be prepared from scratch basically. Missed the start of the movie. Will never com back to this theater. read more
