I was referred to With A Little Help by a friend of mine who is a hospice nurse. He actually gave me the names of three agencies, and I called them all. The first two had a corporate vibe, and sent me directly into a voicemail black hole. It was days before I heard back. When I called With A Little Help, within seconds, I was talking with Kacie, one of the owners, who was so kind and spent all of the time I needed talking with me about our situation and care needs. By the end of the phone call, we had a plan for an intake evaluation, and just a couple of days later, a new care team was in place...and just like that, the stress and worry that had been accumulating over many months lifted. This is just one example of the many, many I could share about the excellent care With A Little Help offers. They aren't a corporate-care behemoth. They are local, owner run, and some of the most caring people I've met in a long time. Kacie and Paul, the owners, worked with us to find the caregivers that are the best fit for our situation. The caregivers are highly skilled, professional, and compassionate. All of them have giant hearts. Some words that come to mind when talking about With A Little Help: Professional Flexible Kind Collaborative Communicative Compassionate Responsive Punctual Attuned For us, With a Little Help has been something of a miracle. Home and About cares about their patients they go above and beyond to ensure that you have the right caregivers at the right time. The owner visits, they check in with their caregivers they are very thorough. My mother came home from the hospital with an ulcer with Home and About, the ulcer was eradicated and she is in very good health I can't say enough good things about them. They are available 24 seven unlike other healthcare companies. They are always there when they say they will be there. They care! I can't say enough good things about them.

Their caregivers always arrived on time and were excellent companions who helped me withstand the rigors of a very difficult treatment protocol. The agency's management staff was also very easy to work with. Services and charges were clearly explained and the scheduling office went above and beyond in accommodating the inevitable changes in my treatment plans. Should I require caregiver services again in the future, I will definitely turn to Husky. I have already recommended the agency to several friends who are seeking senior care help.

This Adult Family Home is actually Owned and run by a Nurse (RN), which is not always true. Many are run by Nurse Aids (CNAs). The Owner is very kind and did as much as she could to be helpful in arranging for my Dad's care and medical needs. The RN and CNA's who work here follow medical and safety regulations more closely than the nursing home staff, so it was easy to trust that they would provide good care for my Dad. They even helped my Dad discontinue medications that should have been stopped by the nursing home doctor by helping me understand how to talk with my Dad's primary care physician about his medications. I wish I had moved my Dad out of the nursing home and into this Adult Family Home sooner, because he received better care all around.

My mother was a resident at Norma Beach Home Care for about ten years. During that time she…read morereceived absolutely amazing care from Tamara and her staff. I could not imagine how any aspect of my mother's care could have been better and I believe that Tamara frequently went beyond what anyone could reasonably expect from a care facility. Norma Beach really is like a family home and this is why my mother (who had quite advanced dementia) was able to feel so comfortable there. She still knew what a kitchen was and Tamara's kitchen is the heart of the house, and there is always activity with generations of family dropping by. The little ones are wonderful and adopted my mom as a special "grandma." We looked at several care facilities before selecting Norma Beach Home Care and only became more convinced it was the best choice as time progressed. If you need somewhere for a loved one because you cannot provide the care they need, you should at least consider this facility.
