Than Dr. Rashmi showed up and spent plenty of time making my son feel comfortable and did an amazing job from numbing him prior to any shots and than being careful as to not cause him any discomfort. Unfortunately, I've had some bad experiences with Dentisits. When I finally decided to take action I took a look at the reviews on Yelp and decided to give La Frontera Dental a shot. On my first visit I made it known that I was nervous but unfortunately, their block lost power before I could be seen by the Doctor and I thought... just my luck lol. They were able to get me rescheduled a few days later and I'm so thankful that I got paired with his dental assistant, Melanie. She listened to my concerns, assured me that I was at the right place, eased my anxiety and told me that they'd help me. She made me feel so comfortable which is exactly what I needed in that moment. When I was seen by Dr. Satish he assured me that we'd come up with a plan to get me feeling better. I received a plan of action which I could alter depending on my availability of funds (dental work is not cheap!). I've already been back for step one which were filings and that appointment went well. I already have my second procedure scheduled. I think I'll request Melanie to assist with any of my future visits because she just made me feel so comforted. But honestly everyone I've encountered there from the front desk staff to Dr. Satish himself have been very welcoming and extremely friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sharon Mathias. I notice a lot of these reviews are for the office manager and male dentists, but I had no encounter with either of those on my visit. I went to a dentist in Dallas, she said I needed onlays...I went to Dr. Mathias for a second opinion (as one should always do if something doesn't feel right), and told her my issues. She agreed and applauded me for getting a second opinion, and gave me a different, and what became cheaper option for my teeth that is better for me long-term. She also found patterns within my teeth and asked if I had a grinding problem. No dentist has ever diagnosed that, but as days go by I realize how much I clench my jaw. Love that she got to the bottom of my problems instead of just treating the symptoms. I got a follow up call the next day after my fillings, checking on my bite. The dental technicians were very nice, put vaseline on my lips when they were drying out during my procedure, and brought me water and a blanket. I felt Dr. Mathias treated them like partners instead of assistants, which made me feel more comfortable. Dr Mathias is kind, courteous, empathetic, practical, and I wish she could be my dentist forever, but I have to move out of TX. Dr. Mathias was very patient with me through the whole procedure, and I truly felt cared for. She is a star, I can tell. I would follow Dr. Mathias if she ever left Castle Dental.

She took the time to explain what was going on with my tooth and why it was necessary to retreat my root canal. Immediately upon reviewing my CBCT image she saw that the original dentist missed a canal. (Original one was done 20+ years ago, when the technology was not near advanced as it is today.) She explained this is more common than you would think because these canals are so tiny and can branch off. Root canals are often why people dread the dentist. I can honestly say that this was done with zero discomfort. She was able to remove the old material, locate and clean the extra canal and complete the procedure within an hour. So methodical, precise and efficient. I honestly wish there were more practitioners like her out there! Fabulous work. Thank YOU!

I went in on a Friday and was seen for my root canal on a wendseday the next week. I was seen by Dr. Meenal McNary D.D.S. she was great... very informative and walk you through everything that she will be doing for your teeth. I felt like I was in good hands. Being that this was first root canal ever. I had a Crack in my tooth and she was still able to safe the tooth instead of pulling it. Would highly recommend this Dr. The main reason I did not give all stars is. Be prepared for a sticker shock on what needs to get done. As this place is completely out of network with insurances. They do there best to work with insurance but more than 70% comes out of pocket. My tooth was in bad shape and seeing how I was reffered there. I felt like I could not go anywhere else. I no we have choice but with life happening and time which who has that now days. I choose to go here.
