The chairs were super comfortable and the polish lasted 3+ weeks! I couldn't believe it. Today I came in for a gel manicure. Thanh did a fabulous job and was very meticulous. White gel polish can come out really uneven if not done right, but Thanh made sure it looked great! I will definitely be back. read more

Henry is my guy, he is amazing excellent work. Been to a few other places, but this place is by far the best. After a week at other places my hair always gets underneath my nail when shampooing it, but here they don't do that at all not even when it's time for a fill. Unless I have a date with a friend, manicures and pedicures are more like mandatory maintenance rather than relaxation time for me. I have places to be! ;) With that said, I was so thrilled when I decided to try out Nicki's for shellac and and a pedi and they started to work on me simultaneously!! I grabbed a magazine to pass time but never once opened it, the lady that did my pedicure ( her name will come to me later) was such a joy to converse with & she did such an efficient job. I only dropped one star because the shellac had a few grooves that the manicurist tried hard to fix but still resulted in peeling too Soon. Regardless, I'll be back! read more

If Possible I would give it a ZERO stars. WORST place I've ever gone. The man Kim gave me a Sloppy Pedi and Mani. It's no wonder they have to give discounts in order to get clients. On top of that they have a dog in there, so UNSANITARY. I'm probably going to get an infection. I recently got my nails done here and left completely satisfied and happy with the outcome. I always feel relaxed and welcome. It does get busy, which is a great thing, but despite that they always manage to accommodate professionally and quickly as possible. They do a great job with the manicure process - I get gel and it typically lasts for up to three weeks and my nails are always pretty and shiny. Even when I have to come in and re-do my nails after the three week mark it doesn't feel as though they are yanking and scraping off my nail bed when removing the gel/shellac (I've had bad experiences at other salons) to prep for a new coat :) Will recommend this place to anyone who asks me! read more

My first ever visit was on Friday (2/24/17). My nails didn't turn out as expected but I let it go. On Saturday, the ring finger nail broke off and so I came in and got it glued back on. From there on that nail just didn't feel right and noticed a few others didn't feel strong as well. On Sunday morning, I went back in and Thanh helped me out. Nails always last 3 weeks (& longer if need be). All the girls there do nails well. However, they aren't the most talkative or friendly. They have awesome pedis selections. Prices are really good. I would recommend this place if you aren't into 3d nail art or hand painted designs. read more

Came here twice. 1st Time was awesome!! Did an awesome job with the marble design and color. The second time I came in for a simple ombré. I paid and left and when I sat in my car I looked at them closely and the ombré was not blended at all, you could see where it cut off and the whole nail was bumpy :/ I didn't even take a pic because I went to a different nail salons right after and got them fixed (Vanessa's Nail Salon). If anything does go wrong they are always more than willing to fix it for you. Best thing to do is call ahead for an appointment because their walk in availability is a hit or miss. TL;DR beware-wouldn't recommend this place, rude workers. One lady does good job, elderly lady does not. Talk rudely in their language. TBH I've came once before to get a pedicure, which wasn't bad for the price. Recently though was a different story though... Terrible service! I asked for a shellac manicure and picked out my color. Was told to sit by elderly woman, who spoke English fine to me at first. (Later she pretended she didn't speak English as to ignore my requests.) I asked for square nails and she says ok, but continued to try to put the polish on without shaping my nails.... I stopped her and asked didn't she need to shape my nails before applying shellac? She acts clueless as to what I'm saying so the owner working next to us tells her something in their language. My lady then proceeded to cut the tips of my nails with a nail clipper, and file the top once.. Not the edges; no shaping... I knew It would be downhill from here. I really hate complaining, so I let her put the gel polish on and surprise surprise, it was the wrong color. I pointed out it was the wrong color and she pretended she didn't know what I was talking about. I tell the owner who is next to us and she seems irritated and says "oh yeah because the one you picked out we don't have". What?? You shouldn't have it on display then and you should tell people that when they pick it out. I proceed to pick other colors and give her the color names and numbers but she goes into her nail polish drawers and picks out random ones herself, ignoring what I'm asking for! She says she will find me a similar polish and comes out with first an old dry polish of completely wrong color, then a very dirty one that she has to clean with a rag before showing me. At this point I was done. Very politely I told the lady and owner it wasn't going to work out for me and I would just like to leave, is that fine or do i have to pay? The owner then tries to tell me I will have to pay TEN dollars for my "manicure". Remember, the lady never filed or shaped my nails! no polish was put on my nails! all that was done was my cuticles were roughly cut and made one of my nails bleed. Like I said I hate arguing so I usually just pay and leave upset at my nails, but the owner was so rude that I said no I will not pay $10 for nothing. She argued I had to pay $5 which at this point was nothing to get out of this terrible nail salon. Will never return or recommend to others. read more

This is a very nice Salon! The staff is Excellent! They have alot of pretty gel colors that I don't see in other salons. I get tons of compliments on my nails. The staff are very nice, friendly and accomidating! They even offer complimentary wine! One night I walked in at 8pm and they did my full set I was so thankful. All other salons were closed. The owner did my nails and they were ok... they did last a lot longer than mine usually do but if you look close they were bumpy. And my poor mom got a regular gel manicure, the lady that did hers didn't even file or shape them, and her gel came off some nails the next day. I also had my eyebrows waxed because it was easier than going to my usual place since I was already here.. she burned me bad! I was so embarrassed for the next week while it healed. Great pedicure! No picture because I don't need you all looking at my janky feet, but seriously, they did a great job! Nice, clean pedi and the guy who did mine totally went back at the end to make sure all my cuticles were immaculate before polishing. It was nice! I've heard from two credible sources that this was the best pedi in Modesto, and I agree! At the end I got a little customer loyalty card! 28 points today and when I get to 200 I get a free mani! Awesome! Overall, not the trendiest, hip place to get serviced, but the prices are solid and they do a good job. read more

Came in here on 12/31/17 and asked to have my acrylics removed and for a new set. From the beginning they were very rude one of the ladies started trying to yank my nails off! I told her I wanted them soaked and you could tell she was annoyed, then I was transferred to another lady I think her name was Linda she was the one that ended up doing my nails. I asked for coffin shaped nails and they are all different shapes. So disappointed to have paid $40 just to go pay a different salon to fix my nails because they are so embarrassing. read more

Me and my aunt went here on Sunday and we got a pedicure done and they neglected to tell me that gel is an extra $15 and no where does it say on the price board it was extra. I should've been told. My aunts toe chipped and they said they would fix it but when she went the guy wasn't there to fix and supposedly " no one else could fix it except him ". Doesn't matter whether you're getting a full set or a fill. There is NO PRICE CHART posted. The prices are on an individual basis. And don't accidentally drop any cash, cause they will not return it to you. I lost an additional $20 on top of my cost of $67 plus $10 tip ($5 each) I know because I walked In with $100 cash and got home with nothing. Zero stops on the way to and from. Came here while randomly in the area. I got a spa pedicure and basic manicure with white tips. The guys doing it was very good, and i was on a time crunch so he got me in and out. He did the manicure with tips in about 15mins which is pretty damn quick. Pedicure was really good, included hot stones for $18 not bad. If i lived in the area I'd definitely go back. read more
