Would have loved to like this place people were friendly especially the young guy there. However they were in such a rush to get my nails done that they left polish on my skin and also the acrylic is so un even. I've never ever had work like this b4. I asked for extra acrylic...I think she purposely did add more cause she acknowledged that i asked for more and didn't do what I asked for. read more

Oh no, Serenity, what happened? This place used to be 4 maybe even 5 stars when I first started coming here! The last few times have been pretty bad. I used to recommend this place left and right. I wouldn't consider sending a friend here at this point. They really need to get it together. Made an appointment on Tuesday for Friday at 6. Arrived 10 mins early, didn't get started until 6:40. Was there until 9 PM. I've learned appointments mean absolutely nothing-they do not have a nail tech available for your scheduled time. In fact, they had just started on almost everyone that was in there. No one was close to wrapping up thus the long wait. It gets worse. The lady cut through my nail with the buzzy thing. No joke, she cut a small gash through my nail to my skin by my cuticle! I've never had that happen in the 10 years I've been getting my nails done! Owie! It still hurts like crazy-3 days later. I couldn't give them 1 star because if you can catch them when they're not busy, the experience is not terrible- everyone is nice enough and they usually do a pretty decent job. The pedi chairs are relatively new and super comfy. They serve wine. It's more spa-like than your average nail salon in terms of decor and comfort. Bottom line: go here during the day mid-week and you'll likely be fine. Avoid on weekends, and especially on paydays!!! read more

The reviews on this place were mixed, so I decided to give it a try. I was just a walk-in and the owner (i'm guessing) took me right away. This was a plus. The only good thing. She was doing a decent job, but then when her employee (son?) returned from break, she passed me off to him. Ick - he had been on a smoking break. The rest of the pedicure was just torture. He stunk and in turn, it seemed to like the cigarette stench from his hands was just mixed into the lotion he massaged onto my feet. He left the sopping wet towel under my feet after he moved to the next step. I had to finally ask him for a fresh towel because it felt awful and was freezing. The employee next to him scolded him. The decor of the place was awful, couldn't stand the colors and the worn out look of it all. Cleanliness was so-so. Don't go here - I would never return. read more

I use to really like this place for my Pedicures. One of my favorite things is the paraffin treatment, They get bonus points in my book for placing paraffin in a bag 1st and then on your foot. It seems very clean every time I've been there in the past. But this last pedicure seemed very rushed, not very relaxing as usual, the lady did all the steps of a pedicure but she slopped on the polish and then removed the excess with remover and a brush tall tell sign she was too lazy or in a rush to carefully paint my toes right, very messy looking. So short story..Clip,clip,buff, buff, rub,rub,paint paint DONE..Probably will be going to find some where else for next time. read more

The staff was very nice and the place was nice but the quality of the paint job was HORRIBLE! I can do a much better job on my own! And the price for a mani pedi shellac was $75 AND it took them 2 hours. No exaggeration. Granted, I didn't have them do my fingernails at the same time as my pedi, but still. Also, they used way too much polish for the different shellac steps so now grow out will cause a big ridge between the polish and my bare nails. Ugh! read more

I will not be going back here. I go in for a mani pedi, i have to wait 15 minutes after they tell me to sit in the pedi chair for anyone to come over and turn the water on. In other places when I get both they do the mani while I get the pedi, but that did not happen, so the whole trip took about an hour longer than I thought it would. Then while getting the mani, the gentleman was distracted talking with the lady working next to him and cut into my finger, not once, not twice, but three times. The third one actually made me yelp a little and started bleeding alot. He added super glue on it to make it stop bleeding, then tried to put the ointment to treat the cut on over the dried super glue. And to top it all off, charged me full price. read more

I have been coming to this nail salon for years. Yesterday I went to get a pedicure by a young man who usually does my toes. The chair was so sticky and gross, the air condition was out I was sweating while getting my pedicure. At least close the salon down till you have air condition to make it comfortable for your customer. Obviously they need the extra business. Tried this place today due to receiving a gift certificate at church. The only complaint aesthetic wise is the chair covers are wearing out. Might I suggest conditioning spray next time to keep them from peeling. The place looked fairly clean. Maybe a little more attention to detail in that area. It's not quite doctor office clean. The prices though are fantastic. 25 for a pedicure and 35 for a new set of nails. The tech was very gentle in the application of my nails and I'm completely happy with them. My toe does have a smudge on it but that's my fault for not checking on the way out. My biggest star reducer is it was hard to communicate what I wanted. I'm new to nails and couldn't really get a description break down of what is available. With the use of props and patients I got a basic with pearl color nail. Prices will bring me back. read more

I used to come here pretty often but it has been awhile. I came last night and I think they were already closed but they quickly opened the door and asked for I what I was looking to get done. They told me they could take me and of course started offerring other services besides the manicure I came in for. I decided to get a pedicure done too. They put me in the pedicure chair and the lady decided to do the manicure while I was sitting in the pedicure chair. So she's jumping back and forth to each side to get the manicure done. Everything seemed very rushed and sloppy. I decided to try the shellac for the first time because I heard it lasts longer. I wish I would have just saved my money and gone with the regular polish. The regular pedicure was $25 plus they tacked on $20 for the shellac polish. The manicure with shellac was $30. I also got an eye brow wax which was $10. So this came out to $85 before tip and I definitely don't think it was worth it for the quality received. Plus as I'm sitting in the pedicure chair they sat the UV lamp thing in my lap so my nails could dry. Then they sat another lamp at the edge of the pedicure tub and had me place my feet to dry. The water in the tub had already been drained but I still thought this was odd and not very safe. I give them a star though for their friendly service. They were very nice and they did do a good job on the eyebrow wax. read more

I received absolutely the most rudest service i have EVER received from a business. The man who is the manager even yelled at me and when i told him i didn't appreciate him yelling and he continued to yell at me that he is only trying to help me - by yelling at me. i told him to stop speaking and to just complete my half painted nails (i would have walked but they do not give refunds - only redos) and i told him i would never come back and he said good. The manicure/ shellac service i received was also done poorly. I was upset to begin with because this was my 3rd time to go back in 2 days to have it redone because the shellac was coming off. I will never go back to this place and I will let all my friends and family in san antonio know to never go to this place. I am only giving it 1 star because there is not a 'no star' option. read more

WARNING! Do NOT get a brazilian wax here! They are not experienced at doing this! There was a dirty towel on the table that I was supposed to lay down on (YUCK!); not all the hair is gone (even though she tried and tried to the point that my skin came off); I was still in pain 2 days later.
