Service is great. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. It is one stop shopping, as they have the best accessories and absolutely anything and everything you need to customize your bike to your needs. The product is top notch and there is a bike for every skill level. They take the time to get to know what your goals are and what you're comfortable with, and then match you to the best bike for you, and they never try to push you to buy more or spend more. These guys saved the day, I would give six stars if I could! My friends and I were riding from Boston to Provincetown on Labor Day weekend and hit a flat tire about a mile from the shop. Folks in the town called the shop to report we were stranded on the road and a nice lady picked up our bike to be fixed at the shop. We headed on our way and the bike hit a flat again about a mile later! Nate from the shop came out in his truck with some much needed roadside assistance and fixed the bike up again. He (and Serious Cycles) saved the day and we ended up making the full 120mi ride before sundown. Cannot thank you all enough! read more

I am a Mom looking to get back in shape and are not (yet) an avid cyclist. When searching for the right bike trailer I encountered other bike shops where they make me feel as though I am wasting their time when I asked questions. Quality and safety are key, as I was looking for a bike trailer for my children. They had the Burley trailers on the floor, and allowed me to test it in the store, I put my children in and was able to see how it worked for our needs. I visited the store several times, and each time I found a knowledgeable, helpful (patient) and approachable person. I was very excited to take my bike trailer home and was anxious to take it for a ride, but upon arriving home I realized the hitch that it came with was not the right size for my bicycle. I called them the next day, and they were quickly able to swap it out for one that would fit. They went above and beyond the call of duty. It was a great experience, Serious Cycles will definitely be our go to bike shop in the future. read more

I visited this place last week for the first time after a call to the shop revealed an enthusiastic and willing to please owner by the name of Seth. I had been looking for some tires for my mountain bike and he claimed to have a quite a few, so I thought I'd drop by. What I found was a well organized and nice looking shop with a decent amount of room and various cycle related stuff for road and mountain. In general I would characterize this as a mid-range shop. if you're seeking the high-end stuff that typically graces the covers of magazines don't expect to see it on the floor. However, the shop can always order what you need. If you're looking for Colnagos and Ellsworth bikes you should be on your way to Boston anyway. Let's face it-the demographic of an area determines the kind of shop you can run. They do have some good accessories though and everything from powerbars and books to clothes and tires. A better shop than it has to be overall. I can't comment on their technical expertise when it comes to repairs, but they've been around for a decade I believe so they should have some skills at this point. If you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit, but if you're closer to Boston don't bother making the trip. read more

Discovered this shop online and had to check out the shop. We were pretty impressed with the selection of road and mountain bikes. But moreso, the owner of the store was incredibly helpful, friendly, patient, and informative. The store is well organized and seems to carry everything needed for cycling trips. The only downside is that there isn't much to choose from for women's clothing and it seemed some other products were out of stock. Overall, we'll be back! read more

I was very impressed with the service I received at Serious Cycles. I went in yesterday to see if I could get the handlebars on an old Centurian 10-speed raised. The initial estimate came in at over $120 to replace stem, cables, and wrapping. As the bike is hardly worth that amount it seemed not worth it. The manager of the shop was very anxious to help me find an acceptable compromise. Within a day the bike was repaired at a cost of $70! I am very happy with the repair and can wholeheartedly recommend Serious Cycles. read more
