Been researching E-bikes for a while. Stopped in here and was greeted immediately, acknowledged and left alone, ( huge bonus IMO). When we were ready to ask questions, and there were many, Keith didn't disappoint. He's very knowledgeable of what he sells and has a great sense of humor. Very kind to our Grandson and took his time with us. The fact that you can actually get on the bike & ride around is awesome! Plenty of room and we musta spent at least half an hr in the big oversized lot. We came back a few days later Went for another test ride & asked more questions. I mentioned I was worried about the seat. Keith said " I have the seat for you" and switched it out and after about 2 minutes I knew it was perfect. We bought out bikes and have enjoyed them all summer. We have been back for accessories and again been very well taken care of. The prices were about average No more than the other bikes we checked out. They also service your bike if needed which is so important. I purchased an eBike battery online from this business using one of their coupon codes. The battery arrived defective and would not charge despite attempting to charge it using multiple electrical outlets and battery chargers. I contacted them directly, explained the issue and sent them a video illustrating the problem. They directed me to return it and they would send me another one. I paid over $100 to return the battery via UPS (USPS would not ship due to the UN 3480-9 label). Rather than sending me a replacement battery as I'd been told, they instead refunded the original price I'd paid them for the defective battery only, not including what I paid to ship it back to them. After contacting them several times they did offer to apply the original coupon code for repurchase of the same battery BUT with an increased price of nearly $100 (34% cost increase). I will not purchase from them again and cannot recommend their business due to their lack of integrity, product quality, and poor customer service. Buyer beware. read more

I live in SF and was reluctant to buy an eBike from a shop so far away. I've now bought two and as with all things there are always little issues, but the staff at this shop are easy to deal with and resolved the few little issues by guiding me over the phone. I promised the guys at my local Haibike dealer I'd get the next one from them since they're a great team - and I will. But I still recommend eBikes508 highly and if you don't have a local Haibike dealer buy from these guys since they've got low prices and stand behind their products. read more

On Saturday November 28th. I purchased a 2004 Harley Davidson Dyna Low Rider from Motorcycles 508. The bike was paid in full at the time of the purchase. The salesman advised that the bike would be shipped to my home in Maryland and it would take no more than 30 days. He said it generally takes much less time but they tell everyone 30 days to be safe. I agreed and went forward with the purchase. After three weeks, I called and spoke with the Sales Manager and he advised that the promised 30 days hasn't passed and that they were within their quoted timeframe. He did slip up and advised that they didn't order the shipping until December 4th. I'm not sure why they waited 5 business days to order the shipper. The sales manager was not exactly friendly and basically told me to be patient. Today is December 28th. (30 days) and I have not received my bike or any calls from the shipper. If you purchase from Motorcycle 508, don't expect to receive your bike in a reasonable timeframe. Poor customer service. Update: Today is January 4, 2021. The motorcycle still has not been delivered. I have had four other motorcycles shipped to my residence in the last 10 years and none have taken this much time. Motorcycles 508 has made NO offer to make this right for their customer. read more

Before you set off on a trek to the south shore let me just paint you a nice picture of this place. This shop to motorcycle gear, is what places like big lots, building19, and ocean state job lot are to target and kohls. The prices really were rock bottom, but the words unsavory and sketchy definitely apply. A lot of the stuff is open box and came from god knows where, the salesmen were rippin butts right outside and shooting cell phone videos of some guy doing burnouts and peeling out in his t-rex in their parking lot. Just totally unprofessional. Stuff that is listed in stock on their website magically disappears when you go to pick it up with excuses "oh we haven't updated our website", followed with offers to sell you something similar for more money. Bait and switch much? When they saw I was about to leave, the guy said, and I quote: "i think i have one of those left in MY PERSONAL STASH".... Needless to say I'm not making the drive to Brockton ever again. read more

I purchased my first bike from MC508 - a 2009 Honda Shadow. I didn't know what I was doing, just that I wanted a bike so when I finished training wheels I could get right on the road. Ronnie works with you and they arguably have the most reasonable prices around. I spent a season on that bike and had already felt I outgrew the 750, so I returned to the shop to look at upgrading. Ronnie not only gave me what I paid a year earlier for the Shadow in trade, but cut me a deal on the Victory I wanted. Both times I financed through them and he worked to get me a great rate with the credit union. A few months into owning the Victory, I ran into trouble with it and they offered to tow it free of charge from Foxboro to Brockton and do the work, which was done quickly and I haven't had a problem with it since. Ronnie also lent me a helmet that I needed to take my girlfriend out for the first time, as she wasn't sure if she would enjoy it and I didn't want to commit on purchasing a helmet if she was going to hate it (luckily she didn't) Another major point for me is this shop lets you take the bike around the building for as many loops as you want to get a feel for the bike, which is not common practice. Some dealers won't let you sit on the bikes without signing on the dotted line. So in my opinion, which is all it is, this is a great motorcycle dealership (I can't speak for the auto sales department.) Take a look at their stock online or stop in and ask for Ronnie if he's not busy...I think you'll be rather satisfied. read more

My first bike and the process was easy. I had a small list of potential bikes when I went in. There was a young kid who showed me some of the beginner types. (I wonder if he ever got a commission?) Ended up getting a nice CBR250R no need to finance. But according to Ronnie the interest rates were pretty good if needed. There was absolutely no pressure to buy and it was a really relaxed place. I went on a weekday so it was real quiet. Highly recommend because of the selection and atmosphere. read more

Wanted to buy my first motorcycle and mc508 was one of the 2 that I found first. When I called everyone seemed so bothered to answer questions, and just told me to look online and apply for financing. After applying for financing it took 2 days to get back answers where I was denied which I found strange as I have good credit. I called a few times in between the 2 days and asked if there was any update and I was told no. I went to another dealership and was approved immediately which was normal to me. A week later I get a letter in the mail stating that mc508 ran my credit for $30,000!!!! When I was only looking at a $2,500 bike! I will be calling when they open to complain. Not That it'll do anything. Wouldn't recommend. read more

After my horrible review of Motorcycles 508, Ronnie Fortin replied by saying they were very sorry about my two experiences with MC 508 and will certainly be more proactive in the future regarding trailer sales and shoddy maintenance. No where in his reply does he offer to make good on the money I had to lay out to fix the damage now to include the trailer fender!! To me, its like buying a new car, being thrown the keys, and not going over the car with you. Granted I know how to drive a car but I may not be aware of the amenities in it. Yes, I can handle a trailer but the 2 5/16" ball "amenity" should have been made clear before WE connected to the truck. I kept the dealer name off of Facebook out of consideration but I am getting to the point of taking out a full page newspaper ad! read more

Good selection of bikes at low prices which is a plus, but they charge outrageous unadvertised fees such as documentation fee and set-up fee which almost total $700. I know all dealers will say they have to charge doc fee, not sure how true that is but I rarely have seen a dealer charge the consumer for when they go over a used bike they are about to sell. Don't they have a mechanic they already pay to go over the bikes which Im sure is an oil change and basic check. Hardly worth that amount. They do seem like they only want to make a sale and get you out the door. No follow up after sale, no specials for existing customers, no were you pleased with the service, etc. Basically a used car sales mentality. In closing, its a place to buy a bike at a good price and 5 min out the door its on to the next customer, no real motivation to encourage future sales or build a returning client base. read more

Hands down the worst dealer I've dealt with. They said they could inspect my bike, they didn't. They rushed my bike out the door with my triple tree nut missing. Fluids from the brake reservoirs were all over my tires and calipers/rotors. They care about sales, not customer service. Their prices are decent, but it's not worth the headache. Their staff looks and sounds incompetent. They knew nothing about the bike I bought. As soon as you're out the door, they do not care about you at all. When my motorcycle was being inspected, the mechanic noticed the sweet odor of brake fluid, which went on the tire, they didn't bother to clean it thoroughly. If I had taken a turn, my bike would've been on the ground. I called Ronnie irate and explained what happened and how disappointed I was. He said "What do you want me to do about it?" in a dismissive and nonchalant tone. They do not value customer safety, rush on jobs and only care about the dollar. This place has changed owners to my understanding a few times. Deal with someone reputable. read more

Do Not Apply For a Loan for any vehicle you wish to purchase from here. They knew i got approved for the Loan and still decided to sell the bike to the first person to walk in with cash. Now my credit score dropped multiple points since I had to DECLINE the loan. The DEALER KNEW I WAS APPROVED AND STILL SOLD THE BIKE OUT FROM UNDER ME! I was in contact with the owner for over a week.
