I'll be the odd dude reviewing this place. It was freezing cold today my cheapy wool touchscreen gloves weren't doing me any favors. I remembered that years ago I went into this store with my mom, who was buying herself gloves at the time, and decided to pop in on the off chance they have men's gloves. Turns out, they do! All of the ones I was shown were cashmere lined and the woman behind the counter wasn't shy about shoving various gloves onto my hand, but knew my size immediately upon looking down at my fingers. Within about 5 minutes I had some super warm buttery leather gloves on my hands for a very reasonable $120. I've had some of those bigger leather gloves (think Century 21 in the bin, or even Cole Haan) in the past that are bulky with fat fingers, but these are very lightweight while being incredibly comfortable and leaving you able to move your fingers around as if you weren't wearing any.

Great range of gloves, materials, styles, ... made in Italy. Amazing assistance. What else could one ask for? Sermoneta stands out.

The zipper on my cabin carry-on had jammed completely and I couldn't get the bag open or closed properly. I brought it in expecting to leave it for at least a few hours if not a day or two. Instead, the person helping me took a look, got to work, and had the zipper unstuck and running smoothly in about 15 minutes while I waited. What really impressed me is that he didn't just fix it, he showed me how to handle it myself if it ever happens again. His technique: overstuff the bag so the fabric draws out and the tension increases around the zipper track, then give the caught area a few firm flicks with the edge of a credit card. The added tension plus the flicking releases the fabric from the zipper teeth. Simple, clever, and the kind of trade knowledge you only get from people who have been doing this for a long time.

I filled out the paperwork on the Internet and mailed the leather bags to their Manhattan shop. I received a call the day the handbags were received. I gave a credit card number to repair both bags for $150 and $35 shipping and handling. I was told the bags would be returned to me within two weeks. The bags were returned by FedEx and have a glossy luster and shine now. The black bag looks like new and the white is better but not perfect.

I like the watches and they make some really nice leather bags and accessories. I do have one favorite piece. I purchased a wallet that is very well made. I've used it many years daily and it has held up beautifully. It's soft leather that's comfortable to hold. It's got the credit card holder and two zipper pockets that are very convenient. I'm giving Fossil Four Stars. It's pricey but beautiful merchandise. This store is beautiful. The employees let me browse to my hearts content. Fossil is more than watches. Visit when you're nearby. So you have to keep calling and calling and calling. It's like a shop in a third world country. We're in NYC and they don't know when the battery will arrive. You sell the friggin' watch but have ZERO idea of when the battery arrive. A major watch store in NYC doesn't know what or when or how. Amazing. Truly amazing. Will be returning the watch. EDIT Review: Apparently you can get the battery elsewhere and bring it in. Sooooo, I didn't NEED to wait a month, I could've went to Best Buy or on Amazon and gotten it right away. Employees need training to answer simple questions and tasks and NOT inconvenience customers!
