Recommended 60,000 mile service with prices.
    Jessie S.

Purchased my Subaru in SoCal, but routinely get my Forester serviced here. Subaru called me to get me in for service. I made an appointment for an oil change. I came at the time of my appointment, and it is now more than 2 hrs later, and I am still waiting for the car to be done. A different customer at the service desk was upset about their wife being sold a 60k service when the car was only at 38k miles (that they purchased only 2 years ago). My oil change is $134 even with a $15 coupon. They recommend a 60k service package while I was checking in that appears very overpriced. All signs are pointing to me not coming back for service on my Forester again.

Excellent Customer Service and Sales. I explained what I wanted for my next vehicle purchase and they delivered. I got the car and the color with all the amenities that I requested. I love my new 2026 Subaru Forester. Steven Wu. You rock!!

I had an excellent experience with my leasing experience at this dealership. Steven was very patient, thorough and efficient while handling my lease return and new car lease paperwork. I was in and out of dealership in less than an hour with a car that I wanted and with the lease terms I wanted. Serramonte Subaru is my new preferred dealership for future needs.

Just bought a 2026 Subaru Wilderness Crosstrek - love it. It was so easy and Steven Wu was awesome. Answered all my questions - everything ran smoothly. Thanks for a smooth transaction! Christina Krauss

i bought myself a wrx from this dealership. i want to point out the guys that stood out and was very patient with the entire process. they genuinely are good folks! don the morgan freeman of this joint. talk to him. carlos, very accomidating. niko, the coolest sales rep in the bay area. arse, chill finance representative. will definitely be recommending this place. very professional establishment.

I visited the dealership's service department because I noticed a burnt plastic smell coming from the cabin vents, along with a melted and warped plastic cap on the driver-side mirror. After inspection, the service advisor told me everything "checked out fine" and that the melted mirror cap was not covered under warranty because it was caused by a "natural phenomenon."I work for an OEM, and I understand how warranty coverage works. Material defects and workmanship issues are exactly what warranties are meant to address. A plastic cap should not melt under normal environmental conditions--especially on a vehicle that is marketed for durability. Yet Subaru refuses to replace a plastic part worth around $50, choosing instead to risk losing loyal customers and reinforcing the perception that they use low‑quality and cheap materials. I've owned multiple vehicles for over 20 years, all parked outdoors in sun and rain, and not a single plastic component has ever melted. Now I'm being told that I need to watch where I park my Subaru, avoiding reflective surfaces or glass because they can melt Subaru exterior parts. That explanation is disappointing and unacceptable.Overall, I'm extremely dissatisfied with how this was handled. Subaru can do better, and customers deserve better.

Love all the safety features that the Crosstrek has.

Ela was friendly, helpful, straightforward, and never made me feel pressured. She made the entire purchasing process very easy and worked with me on the things that were important to me. Even after the sale was completed, she continued to help me with accessories and other follow-up items. I've purchased quite a few Hondas over the years and have also helped several friends with their car purchases, so I've dealt with many dealerships and salespeople. Ela really stood out. I especially appreciate that she treated me like a customer she wanted to help rather than simply another sale. I also want to mention that her manager, Jimmy, has been very helpful in making sure I'm a happy customer, even after the purchase was completed. If I could give a higher score, I would definitely give Ela and Jimmy a 10 out of 5 for their professionalism and customer service. I would definitely recommend asking for Ela if you're shopping for a Honda at Serramonte.

During my test drive, the car would not start and had to be jump-started by an associate. I was told the issue was because the car had been sitting for several days. Since the vehicle was being sold as Certified Pre-Owned, I trusted that explanation and proceeded with the purchase. Only a few days after buying the car, I had the same starting/battery issue again. When I contacted Honda of Serramonte, my concern was dismissed and I was told the battery should be okay because the car was Certified Pre-Owned. I was not comfortable with that answer, so I took the car to another Honda dealership, Honda of Capitol Expressway. They inspected the car, confirmed that the battery was the issue, and replaced it. My frustration is not just that the battery failed. It is that the issue happened before the sale during the test drive, then happened again within days of purchase, and Honda of Serramonte still dismissed my concern instead of properly diagnosing it. This caused unnecessary inconvenience and forced me to take time off to bring the car to another dealership to resolve something that should have been caught before delivery or handled immediately after I reported it. I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Honda expecting the vehicle to be properly inspected and expecting concerns to be taken seriously. This experience made me question the quality of the CPO inspection and the after-sale support from this dealership. I am giving Honda of Serramonte an opportunity to address this with their management, and I will update this review if they take responsibility and make it right.

On top of that I got a great deal and my lease payment is actually significantly less than what I was paying on my older EV6, same trim package. RC in finance was also super easy and efficient to work with. In the past, my biggest issue with car buying has been all of the BS and wasted time, and I got NONE of that with Kia Serramonte. I was interested in one of the lease specials advertised by the dealership on their website and contacted a salesperson by text to get a quote. He responded that he would be happy to send me a quote, but first wanted to know if I was ready to move forward and could come in if they worked out the deal I was looking for. I explained that I was not interested in coming in and was simply getting lease quotes at this point. His response was: "Since you live so far away, I'm not interested in giving you a quote to shop around with." I was honestly surprised by this response. I understand that a dealership doesn't have to offer a particular price, but refusing to provide a quote simply because a customer wants to compare offers seems like a poor way to treat a potential customer--especially someone who already drives a Kia and is looking to lease another Kia. I wasn't asking them to hold a vehicle or spend hours with me at the dealership. I was simply asking for their lease numbers so I could compare them with other Kia dealers. I'm including the screenshot of the conversation so people can judge the interaction for themselves.

He heard my needs, he validated me and then executed my vision. Now, my car is running smoothly and I have a list of things I can update for my long term happiness. At a future date. The only downside to servicing any vehicle at the dealership is the exorbitantly higher cost for the labor/ Service. Now, the positive are: they will always use factory parts. Also, having your info in their system allows them to send you regular updates that are needed about your vehicle. Finally, when to do regular services so it's not forgotten. We had it towed to this dealership's service department since they could take it overnight and diagnose it the next day. The diagnosis ($500) found a rear left wheel speed sensor issue and some transmission problems. Getting an actual quote from there, however, was a nightmare. Communication was our biggest frustration. Since we didn't have a car, we couldn't just show up. We were entirely dependent on phone and email. Our service advisor was a nice person, but it was incredibly difficult to: Get him on the phone Get a straight answer on costs (parts and labor) Get anything in writing To make matters worse, the service advisor mixed us up with other customers and sent our information to them. That's a pretty concerning lack of attention to detail and a privacy issue. Once we approved the work and parts were ordered, he kept giving us delivery dates that came and went without any update. We had to chase him down every time. Our car sat in their shop for 45 days. Then, the kicker. We picked up the car, and before we even got home, the ABS light came back on. The very issue we brought it in for in the first place. On top of that, the car was making a really weird scraping noise that hadn't been there before. When we returned, they diagnosed a front right wheel speed sensor malfunction and said they'd need to order the part (of course not in stock). We needed the car back for a family emergency, so we left frustrated and unresolved. When I escalated to the general manager, the response was dismissive and at times patronizing. Not what you want to hear after 45 days, poor communication, and an incomplete repair. The one bright spot was Walter, the service advisor manager, who actually listened, validated our concerns, and showed genuine empathy and understanding. Here's what really puts it in perspective. We ended up paying around $2,000 at this dealership for a 45-day ordeal that still didn't fully resolve the issue. When we took the Jeep to a local mechanic in my hometown, he was able to diagnose the problem, source the part, and install it. All in a single day, for under $150. He also identified the scraping noise as a brake plate issue and fixed it easily at no extra charge. I understand Bay Area prices are higher, but that's not a small markup. That's an enormous gap that's hard to justify given the level of service (or lack thereof) we received here. Bottom line: Disorganized, unresponsive, and overpriced. The mechanics may be fine, but the service experience was so poor that it doesn't matter. If you're a Jeep owner, I'd strongly recommend finding another shop. A dealership that specializes in your vehicle should make the process easier, not harder. This place did the opposite.

Looking online I saw that City Toyota had the exact car I wanted so I emailed them, finally someone got back to me and all they said is "Good news, It's still available", I spent 20 years in the auto industry and expected someone to reach out and try to sell me a car, I had to call to initiate contact with the salesperson. He said "I think it's still available?" I said, YOU THINK? I explained that I just sold my car and won't get the check until they send the payoff to the credit union and get the title released (standard procedure), I have all the docs showing this. I can write a partial hold check and put the rest on credit card, and cash. The remainder I was going to finance, which I would have gladly done an online credit application and even a deposit if necessary. The salesperson was over his head and said he had to talk to the manager (he should have just gave the manager the phone), the salesperson said we can only do $3000 on a credit card and hold a check for 5 days (it will take 7 to 10 days). I said I am going to finance the rest (I have A+ credit)... The salesperson was quiet, I said OK, I guess that's it, he said thanks for calling. I wasn't calling for the hell of it, I was trying to buy a car, willing to do an online application, whatever they needed, man oh man! I was willing to Uber from San Jose in the morning and buy the car (because this was early evening at this point), I guess business is so good it either falls in their lap or they just don't care. The car is OVER $60,000 +fees!!!!!!!! No one tried to assist me, no one tried to earn my business, they couldn't be bothered. I sincerely need to get a car and obviously they didn't need to sell one. The salesperson sounded new, the manager who sincerely should be in charge obviously didn't want to be bothered. Any decent manager would have taken control to assit the salesperson and the customer. 1 star is 1 star to many! I'd actually like to thank them, a Toyota dealer in San Jose, got one in last night and I bought it. I used City Toyota's price for an even better deal! lol (see attached pic).

I just wanted to look on my own, but it was OK as I was learning a lot of stuff. He asked me if I wanted to see the Armada outside and I said sure. So we took a look at two versions outside. And then I asked if I could just look at the infinity version to see what the difference was and he said he would get the key. About 8 minutes later, he didn't come back so I went inside to look for him. He apologized and said the key was not there. And then he awkwardly said that he can only show so many cars within a certain period of time. I had been there for maybe 20 minutes. I have never been brushed off like that. The salesman wasn't willing to show me a single interior of the Infiniti version of the Armada. I was polite, I didn't test drive any car, I just sat in each one and listened to him speak 98% of the time. So it seems like the sales person got talked to by a manager inside and told him not to show me the infinity version. And basically just ghosted me and not come outside until I came inside. Completely weird! How am I supposed to make an informed decision when I can't even sit in the cars I'm interested in? There were many QX80 models on the lot, so it's not like they were rare. Instead, they were offering $11K discounts and I still couldn't get to sit inside one to compare it to the Armada. Weird! I guess I'll just keep driving my Range Rover Sport. The dealership was not busy at all. Maybe 1 customer.
