OK, just picked this place via Yelp. Total winner, loved it. Jake brought top level service, kept us watered and fed without missing a beat. Maddie made sure we were happy (we were). The filet mignon was really nice - the seasoning and temp perfect. Its not a typical filet mignon - 6 oz goes a long way. I opted for couscous - the turmeric hit well. By all means -- go for the brussels sprouts. I absolutely love Jordan wine, the cab paired very well with steak. Went here for Mother's Day with a party of eight and a baby and they did an exceptional job, both on service and in the quality of the food. Good cocktails, excellent apps ( had the calamari and the charcuterie platter) good salads, an excellent crabmeat bisque which my wife and I shared, excellent steaks cooked properly and nice desserts. ACTUALLY -5........Ok you ask why so low? The place is new and well appointed--But we didn't go for the decor. INTEGRITY--lacking. Scheduled specific table(works with my handicapp-none of the others do) six weeks in advance(there is a disclaimer that no guarantees on anything). Had 5 text messages to confirm we were coming. responded to all. Arrived early and the table was given away 10 minutes before we arrived.(there were plenty of other tables open. the Manager on duty was not the least bit applogetic. We were given a complimentary loaf of bread!!! Did i mention that the lobby reaked of gin? Ironically a similar thing happened to a fried the same night at a different restaurant and the owner was so upset that they gave the friend a complimentary meal!. If there is no integrity with the reception area think what is in the food!! So happy eating. our recommendation is go elsewhere. read more

McKenzie was top-notch in her service The other folks who came by to see how the food was we're very interested in knowing our honest opinion. I didn't know there a second Serrato's until my Uber dropped me off. I remembered the name and walked in and the menu seemed familiar! Adam was the bar tender that greeted me at the bar. I remembered the crab bisque and it all came rushing back to me so decided to ask Adam if there was another Serrato's and he informed me that this location opened last year in June. I immediately ordered a bowl the crab bisque as I had at their other establishment last year. Outstanding just like my previous visit! I was kicking around the menu looking something unique and I found the fillet mignon bruschetta appetizer. As I ordered it from Adam, he said, " You got a little surf and turf with the bisque", and his comment got me thinking about expanding so I added scallops to the FMB App. As I was about to ask Adam to blacken the scallops he read my mind and suggested the same. I wasn't sure how it was going to be served and I saw someone speak with Adam about my request and he made sure it came out as imagined. The flavor of the heirloom tomatoes, garlic bread fillet and blackened scallops were a perfect combination with ample portions of each. The fillet was seasoned and tender, the scallops were sweet and a buttery texture. Honestly, I can't decided where this meal ranks among my favorites of all time, but this unique and tasty meal is definitely in my top 5 with ease! My wife chose this restaurant for Mother's Day lunch. I didn't make reservations, so we had the option of Bar seating or Patio seating and the the weather was nice so we sat outside. This place is always good. Top notch food and service. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is very clean and classy. They offer Apps, Crab Bisque, Salads, Entrees, Seafood, Sandwiches and Handcut Steaks. They Offer food specials and a Fish of the Day. They have a full bar and limited outdoor Patio. This place is worth driving for and it's only about 15 minutes from Nashville. It's a great Date Night spot or a great Lunch spot. We had already visited the original Serrato's in Franklin, singing its praises to anyone who would listen. But when a second location popped up nestled deep into Maryland Farms, we hoped it would be as good as the original. It is! And while Brentwood has extraordinary wealth, it shockingly lacks superb, high-quality restaurants forcing residents to scatter to Franklin or Green Hills for the closest upscale dining experience. There is something special about Serrato's. Many steakhouses in town prepare a pretty good piece of beef, but few rise above and beyond. And while the greatest steaks are usually found at the fanciest restaurants, Serrato's executes this to perfection in an unassuming environment with relatively simple decor and two locations in what are essentially strip malls. Don't let that fool you. Their steaks are among the best in the city! At this location, we started with calamari which was pretty tasty but probably not crisp enough for our preference. But the 18-ounce ribeye was absolute perfection! I didn't love the scallops I added to the steak (I would avoid those), but the blue cheese butter was fantastic and the perfect complement to the steak! The truffle mac and the fries were incredible. And although my dessert was a seasonal item that won't be around the whole year, the pumpkin praline cheesecake could possibly be the best dessert I've eaten in Music City!! And that's saying something!! I'll have to try the regular cheesecake offered year-round because it's probably just as good. Visit Serrato's and you certainly won't be disappointed. read more

Year one into me living in Nashville and this restaurant has impressed me the most thus far. My husband and I took my in-laws here for a post-Christmas celebration, and we haven't stopped talking about it. The drinks were made perfectly, the server was kind and attentive, and the manager checked on us multiple times. I ordered the surf and turf medium rare. It was made beautifully and the lobster was divine. I don't know what was in that Mac and cheese but I absolutely devoured that. We ordered a communal french fry for the table and those were definitely a hit as well. I also took a bite of my husband's pork chop and my mother-in-law's shrimp scampi and WOW. I'd go back and order those, too. We finished the night with crème brûlée (not pictured) and the Italian lemon crème cake. I'm not huge on lemon and I LOVE crème brûlée, but the lemon cake actually took the... cake... for me. SO DELISH. My husband and I met with another couple and sat in their dining area to the left of the bar. It was cozy and we were easily able to speak and hear one another comfortably. The food was excellent. We started with the sourdough bread - loved it. My husband and I shared the Kale salad. I was apprehensive about the mustard dressing, but it really blends well. My husband had the filet and I had the Chicken Piccata, both were excellent and perfectly cooked. We finished with the Flourless Chocolate Torte - practically licked the plate! As great as this was, the service was as good - if not better. Villetta, our server, was top notch. Aside from knowing every detail about the menu, she was absolutely on it with timing and attention. Hands down the best dining experience my husband and me have had in and around the middle Tennessee area in years! The only place comparable would be high point in mount Eagle. So! We came in at 5:30pm for dinner, we had reservations for my husbands birthday. It was fairly empty and still calm for a Saturday night. We like to eat early so we can enjoy and still be home by 8pm to enjoy the evening. (We are old okay!!?!) We started by ordering drinks (old fashioned and raspberry lemon drop martini) and an appetizer, the calamari. Drinks were made spot on and the calamari with shrimp was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! We then split a house salad and I'm not sure what the house dressing is but this salad was a piece of art and so fresh! My husband had the bone in rib eye cooked Medium and he wished he had ordered it medium rare but the flavor was excellent and the steak was cooked just right for my liking. The Brussel sprouts he got to accompany his rib eye were so good!! Roasted and cooked w a little bit of bacon, delicious! I had the chicken piccata with mashed potatoes and asparagus, the chicken was so tender you didn't even need a knife and the piccata sauce was...damn good! The potatoes tasted like my grandma used to make with roasted garlic, butter, cream cheese... oh so good!! We ended the meal w the finest carrot cake we have both ever had. We have been looking for a local place to dine regularly for a solid meal and we found it! Aurick was our waiter and he was phenomenal. You know a good waiter when you have one and he had it down to an art. The presentation, how to pace the food, when we needed another drink, making sure dishes were removed, he had it perfectly timed and we enjoyed every minute of it. If we could have Aurick at every meal, he would make my heart smile. Fantastic job Serrato! You have made a regular customer tonight! I will add that for years my husband went to a "local" steakhouse that we had noticed went downhill quickly around 2019-2020. We were avid supporters and went there often due mostly to nostalgia. We learned after researching (bc the service got sooo bad) that they had been bought out by SPB hospitality group and we will sadly probably never go back. Alexander's was always our go to. I also looked up Serrato's bc we enjoy supporting local establishments & we learned of Mr Serratos life story and what he does in his community. The wife got a New York Strip that was cooked to perfection, along with garlicky mashed potatoes. The food met expectations I got the dual filet with seafood topping it was absolutely gorgeous as well as tasty ! Of course had to order the creme brûlée for desert.
