Dirty martini during happy hour. It was undrinkable
    Sheena T.

I really hate to write this review, but unfortunately I don't have a good experience to share and want to prevent others suffering the same fate. I was looking for a happy hour location with coworkers and was drawn to Ludlow & Prime based on their menu and the fact that they have martinis on happy hour. It was a big mistake. We showed up and the bar area was busy and they seemed understaffed. Understanding the staffing shortages we patiently waited and were seated in the dining room. Service was spotty but we browsed the menu and ordered drinks and appetizers. When my dirty martini showed up in a wine glass and was the color of watered down puke I knew I was in trouble. I literally gagged when I took a drink it was that vile. I had to add a lot of water to it to make it drinkable. Another person had an Old Fashioned that was also subpar and a huge let down. The food was not much better. The deviled eggs were bland and the queso tasted like the canned cheese you get at a sporting event in a plastic tray. The cheese board was also boring and nothing special, but the best item we tried (that's not saying much). We would have gone somewhere else but didn't want to drive so we reluctantly ordered one more round of drinks. I had a glass of wine that I knew and it tasted like it had been open for at least 3 days and was stale. The server threw down another drink on the table in a rush, barely pausing to issue a quick apology. Overall this was a huge waste of a good happy hour that I won't soon live down from my peers.

If your looking for a larger private dining experience, ludlow and prime is the place to go! Rachel was so helpful with our organization of our birthday dinner! The service was great even for a large party! Food was great. A delightful night

This place is a dumpster fire, except a dumpster fire would get more attention than my table. The one star is only because the bar made a great cocktail. I'd love to review the food, but I'm an hour into being here and the bread rolls aren't even out yet. We were a party of two celebrating our anniversary, thought this would be a lovely place to go. Nope! If you're not a party of 5+ you're getting neglected. Quotes of the evening..."Has anyone talked to that table (my table)?" Other server, "No I haven't talked to anyone." ...Come talk to me! "If you need me to throw on an apron and help y'all I can." - The table next to ours experiencing the same thing with a different server.

I would not recommend if you want it to be romantic dinner . You will be sitting on hard old school Chairs and some chairs that are fancier than others ( I wish I took photos because I wanted to switch my chair). I don't understand either . I showed up at 8:30 and we sat at a small table which was wobbly. We ordered a dozen of oysters (very good and fresh ) . Gumbo soup is on the watery side ( it's ok) My scallops was good and boyfriend got steak which was good also . We spent over 400 on our tab. This is more like a bar /club vibe trying to be a high end restaurant. Service was amazing though !!!

    Happy Hour!

Met up with a friend for happy hour and an early dinner. Only 1 side of the restaurant was open (the bar side). The service was a little slower than I expected, but I gave the server the benefit of doubt. I know places are going through understaffing. I love eating lobster rolls in Boston, so I thought I'd try one here. When I got the food, my Lobster Roll wasn't as warm as I thought it'd be. I also wish the roll was buttered and fried.

Food was good. I had the salmon - it was tender and well seasoned. The mashed potatoes were good. Service was poor. Our server was assigned to 2 tables with 10+ people. He did his best to accommodate everyone but it was way too much for him.

I visited with my parents during their last trip to town since the restaurant happened to be nearby. Upon walking in, the decor felt a little confusing. The menu clearly presents the restaurant as a grill, but the interior still seemed heavily influenced by what may have previously been an Asian restaurant space. The renovation didn't feel entirely cohesive, which made the atmosphere a bit disjointed. That said, the staff was very friendly, and we were seated quickly. Throughout the meal, however, there seemed to be an underlying sense of stress among the staff that was noticeable despite their efforts to remain professional and attentive. It created a slightly uncomfortable atmosphere at times. For dinner, we ordered the filet with broccoli and French fries, while another guest ordered a salad. Unfortunately, the salad had to be sent back because it arrived with blue cheese despite a requested omission due to an allergy. Thankfully, the issue was corrected. The filet itself was cooked to the requested temperature, and overall the food was fine, but nothing particularly stood out as memorable. Everything was acceptable, though not especially remarkable. Overall, Firebird Grill may work well for larger groups or families looking for a convenient, casual meal, but with so many standout restaurants in Nashville, it's probably not a place I'd personally revisit.

The atmosphere immediately caught our attention--creative, intimate, colorful, and just a really cool vibe. Then the food came out and somehow managed to match the setting. We tried the beef tacos, soy garlic wings, glass noodles, and steak, and everything was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The steak was cooked perfectly, the wings were crispy and loaded with flavor, and those beef tacos definitely deserve another visit of their own. ‍ What really completed the experience was the service. Gene was awesome--friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout dinner. Great food, great atmosphere, excellent service, and reasonable prices for the quality. It's always a win when you stumble across a place you weren't expecting and leave already thinking about what you're ordering next time. Mi Kitchen is officially on the repeat list. Five stars easily.

From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. The first thing that stood out was their small plate concept, and I absolutely loved it. I enjoy trying a variety of dishes instead of committing to just one entrée, and this concept is something I wish more restaurants would adopt. We ended up trying almost half the menu and loved nearly every dish. A huge shout-out to our server, Nestor. He welcomed us warmly, was cheerful throughout the evening, and his recommendations were spot on. He truly made the dinner even more enjoyable. We started with a couple of mocktails, and the Purple Haze was refreshing and delicious. Here are some of our favorites: MI Cucumber - Smashed cucumber with soy dressing, crunchy chili oil, and cilantro. Simple, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Plantain - Fried plantains topped with sriracha goat cheese, cilantro, and crunchy gremolata. The sriracha goat cheese paired perfectly with the sweet plantains. K-Pop Chicken - Korean sweet and spicy popcorn chicken with great flavor and a perfect balance of sweetness and heat. Dumplings - Homemade steamed dumplings with edamame, truffle, yuzu ponzu, and garlic confit. I really enjoyed the truffle flavor, though it may not be for everyone. Kimchi Bacon Risotto - Caramelized kimchi, applewood smoked bacon, tomato, and shrimp. One of the best dishes of the night--perfectly cooked with incredible flavor. Crispy Spicy Tuna - Spicy mayo tuna served over crispy rice. This was one of the highlights of the meal. The crispy rice was absolutely perfect. Cauliflower Taco - Crispy cauliflower with guacamole, creamy miso, and tsiran spice. The filling was flavorful, and the cauliflower was cooked perfectly. Lamb Chops - This was the only dish that felt average. The lamb was cooked well, but it was missing a bit of flavor. A little more seasoning, especially some salt, would have really elevated the dish. To finish the meal, we had the Banana Pudding with Vanilla Gelato, which was a delicious and satisfying way to end dinner. Overall, MI Kitchen completely exceeded our expectations. Amazing food, a fun small-plate concept, and outstanding service from Nestor made this a memorable experience. We'll definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu!

Ambiance was nice as always. Not too loud but was pretty busy. We had maybe a 5 minute wait once we checked in for our reservation. Our server was the sweetest on a Saturday evening and she was so knowledgeable about their different wine options. He asked her to pick a good red wine that was middle of the road and her option blew him away. It was very good. I got a red sangria and was pleased with it, I prefer mine to be sweeter though. Their bread was delicious as always, crab dip was very good! Wish I had more. Their Caesar was much larger than expected so we shared it but it was good. I opted for the filet medallions Oscar (not pictured) which was good and ordered them medium. Honestly they weren't cooked consistently at all but still very good. Some pretty rare and maybe one out of 4 were actually medium. The ones too undercooked I just took home and ate the next day with eggs. Wish it came with a little more asparagus though. Whipped potatoes are very good! Overall enjoyed my time here and after all: two glasses of wine, two sangrias, bone in ribeye, Caesar, au gratin potatoes, filet medallions Oscar, whipped potatoes and crab dip we had a bill of around $225.

The baked potato was massive and tasty, though it could have used a little more butter and sour cream to really take it over the top. Service was excellent throughout. The staff was very attentive, consistently refilling water glasses and checking in to see if anyone wanted another mimosa, which added to the relaxed brunch vibe. All in all, a solid first brunch visit. Good food, great service.

Our server (I believe his name was Mitch) was phenomenal! We started off with the guava girlies, anti-hero, tan lines and good times - our favorites were the guava girlies and the anti- hero. The tan lines didn't have a deep enough flavor profile for us. For food, we got the Caesar salad, the green beans, the tuna crispy rice, the hurricane fries, charred scallion noodles, and burnt end lettuce wraps! Every dish was a hit but our favorites were the green beans (we were obsessed with the sauce) and the burnt end lettuce wraps. We also tried the lipstick marks, second hand smoke (sub mezcal with regular tequila), and guava girlies with tequila - all of these were also delicious! Despite being full, we had to try the dessert and tried the brookie with ube ice cream. We were also surprised with a scoop of pandan ice cream. This may be one of the most unique flavor profiles for a brookie I've ever had and it paired beautifully with the ube and pandan gelato! By the bar we got to see some of the dishes being made. Great date night spot. Limited parking. This is a tapas spot and our serve did a good job recommending how many dishes to get. The only reason Noko is not getting 5 stars is because the server said that they would time out the dishes for us, so it was best to place our entire order all at once. However, we got 3 dishes and then it took about 30 minutes for other two to come out. Maybe we were eating too fast but felt like we were waiting a while for our food. The food itself was absolutely delicious. There was nothing we ordered that I did not like. Some favorites include the burnt ends lettuce wraps and Korean chicken wings. The Sando, shrimp and tuna crispy rice was also spectacular. The tuna was so flavorful and refreshing on the tuna crispy rice. The sauce of the east side shrimp really makes the dish.
