I will invest in the water leak detector at a later date. Sean was professional and respectful throughout the service period. It's been a year since the initial install of a brand new R/O system by this company. I'm very pleased that a year came and went with no R/O system issues! I recently received an annual reminder from the company about replacing filters. The scheduling process went smoothly. Notifications up to the appointment day were sent to me via email and text. A tech arrived within the time range. Initially I was told Nick would be the tech, but the morning of I received a text that it would be Mark G. Mark arrived and took care of the filter replacement, inspected the system, and did all that came with the annual service. He showed me the filters as he replaced each one and explained the 'job' of each filter. I was shocked at the visible staining of the 'white' filter. I was not expecting the staining considering it was just a year and a very small household. I was actually thinking I could have gone considerably longer before a filter change, but seeing the filter and the explanation of the function of said filter proved to me otherwise. Mark explained the value of changing out the filters to preserve the overall performance of the system, so I'm glad I was diligent about scheduling the service and plan on continuing the annual filter replacement/inspection service. Mark answered my questions and I learned new things about the system. He made some recommendations that I followed up on and I feel even more confident with my ability to monitor and maintain the R/O system. I will continue to invest in the annual filter replacement and inspection by a plumbing professional (because I take no joy in dealing with plumbing myself). Woke up on a Saturday morning to discover the water softener was leaking. After a recent battle with the pool heater, I really wasn't in much of a mood to deal with anything but knew something had to be done. I reached out to Serv-All through the yelp app and they immediately responded. I explained what the problem was and described the kind of unit that I had. They asked what a convenient day was for me for them to send a technician out. I explained that I really would like it looked at immediately. They were able to set me up with a same-day appointment. They gave me a timeframe for the technician's arrival and continued to communicate with me throughout the day. Mark arrived on time and got to work. My unit was well beyond its life expectancy and was in need of replacement Mark had my old unit out and a brand new unit installed in no time at all. Mark was very knowledgeable and gave us a quick tutorial on the new system. I would not hesitate to use Serv-All again, but with the terrific warranty they offer, I don't think there will be a need to ... at least for the water softener. I do not like to write bad reviews because I am in the service industry as well and also do not like to read petty complains. I had this company come out because my lines got criss crossed when I had my filters and membrane changed out. Plus I have used them before. Their email said that the person coming out was an expert with more than a decade of plumbing experience. Not the case. I had to pay a higher labor charge because he stayed in the truck more than my house calling the owner for advice. This went on about 4 times. He also had to wait for a call back because he was at an event. I was charged $150 and not my problem he stayed longer because he was inexperienced and new with the company. He also said he had to take my membrane out and if I had another one. That cost me another $75 to just change it. I never understood why he had to change that out because I just did it. From the beginning he try to up sell me on a new system. He also asked where my water shut off was. He said he found it. He said you should never touch that. Like he was scaring me into another up sell. He put an auto shut off valve on the one tank which they had put one on another area of the system a year ago. Plus you pay the $89 fee just to show up. I thought my bill would be around $150 no more than $200. He first said $400 and I was in shock. It ended up being $360. I called in and talked to the receptionist and she said well he was there 2.5 hours and I told her why. I said I have cameras to prove it. She said said she would have a manager look into it and call me back. I honestly felt like they knew I was upset earlier and still did nothing at the time. read more

And, Service Technician Nick consistently provides the BEST service! I request Nick when it comes time to service my water filters. Today, while Nick was changing out my filters, he noticed a bit of water towards the back wall underneath the sink. He could have let it go, as the water was not due to work he was doing. He says if you ever have any questions to call them and they will answer any questions I might have. Nick inspected our softner because we were having issues with more calcium buildup, both valves were leaking and corroding and the resin needed replacement so we swapped out the whole system and our water quality is much better. He also thoroughly explained everything and even fixed our general water pressure.
