Well 1st time here. I had the super burrito. The carne asada tasted great! It had 1 piece of grizzle but overall was really good. I didn't mind the lettuce which some ppl mentioned was something wet in the burrito. I will be back for more!! I didn't give it a 5 because i don't like yellow cheese and lettuce in my burritos. I'm not sure what other reviewers are talking about stating this is their go to spot for authentic Mexican food, it's just another Alberto's, Mexican fast food. I had about 1/4 of the asada fries and was done, they were undercooked and not seasoned; the "asada" was cubed, bland meat. Loud corner apparently made my chorizo breakfast burrito add beans translate to only beans and chorizo. My burrito was missing cheese, potatoes and salsa. Asked for two green sauces got that wrong too. Come on guys you can do better. read more

This is the place. last might I ordered a beef taco and let me tell you that taco was full of meat and cheese. It was fried but not greasy or with juice dripping it was perfect and delicious. If you like authentic Mexican food do not go here. Honestly the service is way better than the food. The only thing that is good is the taco shell because they make it fresh. Beans are thick and nasty. The guacamole taste like sour cream. I ordered from here once every blue moon because it's close to my job but today would be my last. I ordered a taco salad with no meat and no sour cream. The taco salad was literally a whole bunch of beans and lettuce. No pico, cheese ,rice. I went by there toI noticed that none of the employees are wearing face masks or latex gloves when handling the food and money. I believe they should be during this time. Also I was told one price for the food that I ordered and the receipt showed that same amount but when I checked with my bank, I was charged an extra amount and was not told before I paid. I driven by this place many times but today decided to stop and give it a try. I'm so glad I did. If you're looking for some great Mexican fast food this is the place. I tried the fish taco, excellent! I thought I should try the rolled tacos since it seems to be a popular item. I didn't know what to expect but pleasantly surprised. My daughter had the Carne Asada taco plate. The tacos were filled with meat, guacamole, and pico de gallo. One taco was plenty as they are larger than street taco size. I also wanted to try the churro because you can't get good churros at many places. It was warm and filled with dulce de leche. A perfect finish to a good meal. I would've preferred a bit more cinnamon sugar on the outside but I would still order this again and highly recommend you try it. Friendly and fast service. We tried this place for the first time and they have a good selection of items but we were not extremely satisfied with what we got. The shredded chicken was super salty, we couldn't even finish our food. The beans were watery, the rice was decent. The nachos were ok but assembled a little different than what I expected. All the ingredients go on top of dry chips then they put the shredded cheese on the very top. It was only half melted by time I got home to eat. There were 2 employees working and neither of them was wearing a mask or gloves, so if that's a concern for you then skip it and go somewhere else. I always drove by this taco shop but had never tried it until recently. The service is quick and and the prices are reasonable. My go to are the taquitos but I have also tried some of the burritos. The burritos were so-so by itself but good with the red or green salsas that are free upon request. We like to come here when we want some quick food that is close to home. This place is a hidden gem. Me & my wife have been coming here for 2 years. Staff is super friendly, food is amazing with great portions. I think we have literally ordered EVERYTHING on thier menu and have never been disappointed. The one thing I wish they would do is go through YELP and deliver. Don't judge a book by its cover...this "hole in the wall" spot serves amazing food and was not greasy at all. You can tell everything is fresh and has a real homemade feel and taste to it (hand shredded cheddar cheese, real guacamole, and the salsa and the meat is all so flavorful and tender!). I ordered 5 rolled tacos and2 crispy tacos (shredded chicken and carne asada) and the food was delicious. I'm giving two stars not for the food. It actually was very good. But for the fact that I seriously hate when food joints have these big meals and disrespect you with 1 or very little cups of salsa. It's not liquid gold, you shouldnt be so stingy with it. If a customer says they want salsa, bet that it means more than 1 godamn small serving. For your fries it should be at least 3-4. The guys are always working hard and the food is always hot and fresh. They also utilize their small space better by having you order and pay on the right and then go through and pick up your food at the drive thru window on the other side instead of having 2 drive thru lanes. This was a great drive thru stop. My daughter and I ordered the beef taquitos and the fish taco. According to my daughter the fish taco was delicious she said the fish was fried perfectly with a nice crunch on the outside. She said she loved it and would definitely come back to order it again it was a good pescatarian option for her. My taquitos were delightful the guacamole was tasty and the shell was fried to a t. Everything we got was wonderful. The service was quick and the staff was nice everything was super affordable and if good quality will definitely be back again. But yes ask for more salsas read more

Was disappointed while coming here. It's convenient and next to everything in upland but my lack of Spanish and the cashiers lack of English we had a difficult time. I ordered cheese enchilada, steak bean and cheese burrito, regular fries, and two horchatas. I ended up getting a chicken enchilada and carne asada fries. I returned the fries immediately cause that was $9! The lady at the register who've been helping me was kind and apologetic about charging me for the carne fries. The enchilada, I didn't notice it was wrong until I cut it open. I already complained once so I just shut up and ate my chicken enchilada. I wish it was cheese enchilada. I would come here maybe one more time but with someone who spoke Spanish just so my order is 100% right. Good food, okay service. read more

It looks like a fast food joint and it very well may be, but in my opinion the food is more in the style and quality of a sit down restaurant...so I'm basing my review on that. Pretty much everything on the menu is under 10 bucks and the food quality is amazing. The place definitely doesn't look like much, but I was pointed in Servando's direction by numerous locals and it didn't disappoint. Great sauces, meats and very friendly and fast service. A wonderful place! I have been going for a long time. The food is homemade, and you can watch the cook. I always enjoy watching him. Breakfast burrito with a homemade flour tortilla, stuffed with scrambled eggs, sausage, and cheese. I add sour cream to mine...yummy!!! You can get red or green salsa on the side too. I would show everyone a photo, but I ate it too fast :-b The service and food are excellent. By the way--after reading some of these reviews, I still cannot believe someone will go to a Mexican restaurant and complain about language barriers. Wanted to try this place for a while. Today I bought a tostada and a taco and was very disappointed. Both were dripping with grease and the spices were lacking . Both the beef and the carne asada spices were mostly salt. Too much salt. When I asked for no onions, I was told " it's mixed in the meat". I saw them grilling it so I don't understand why they can't leave the onions out. Expensive for the quality. Not coming back... read more

Drove through about 1:30 PM this afternoon. Two guys on staff super friendly. Rolled tacos average. One order was suppose to be a combo meal 5 rolled tacos rice & beans. The rice and beans were put on top of the rolled tacos? Carne Asada burrito was alright. California burrito was good size & pretty tasty. Carne Asada taco was big and had a nice taste. Salsa offered is a green & or a red. They aren't to flavorful or hot. No hot carrots or chips offered complementary. Again staff was pleasant food just average. read more
