The one in Rancho Cucamonga is way better food and service . They will get your order wrong here and basically tell you to be quiet because they can't multitask. I decided to come here day before yesterday for a small cup of salsa which I paid $5 for . MIND YOU I DIDNT ORDER ANY FN FOOD. There was three ladies working . Two younger middle aged Hispanic women and an older one . The older one was minding her business and doing her job while the other two, one looks like a dyke with black hair and the other one had brown hair w horse teeth. The lady asks me to pull the the window and as she's getting my change I hear the other worker asks who ordered the salsa and the dyke proceeded to say IN SPANISH SOME GORDA ! LMAO right in front of me !! I let it go over my head in the moment because i genuinely thought they were just discussing with eachother but my bf made it a point they were talking sht . I spun back around and the other lady came to the window and I started to speak in Spanish to her telling her I can understand them and she wanted to look dumb founded and agreed at first then flipped it around saying they were talking amongst themselves. It's funny too because even when I was talking to her in Spanish she still couldn't understand me !? Right ok What pissed me off the lady wanted to give me wrong names and she didn't want to give me any mangers number nobody where I can report them . Worst customer service ever and workers rly gonna be sneaky racist with me??? The website clearly states that combos come with a pepper and tortilla chips. I've been going to this Senor Baja for 2 years now and have never had to ask for this. It just comes with the meal as advertised. I went today, purchased three orders of ceviche and one combo. They had everything wrapped up, so when I got home I opened the bags--no pepper, no chips. The ceviche barely had any shrimp, mostly onions and tomato chunks with tiny bits diced in. Called to complain, and they said I should've asked for the pepper, plus their chain doesn't do chips. Why's this spot different from every other one all of a sudden? And why did I always get it before? Girl on the phone was said no refunds. Had to come back in, push till the manager fixed it--she couldn't even explain why they lied earlier. And then she had the audacity to only give me a partial refund ($25 out of $30). I asked why and she said bc one of the ceviche looks slightly eaten and I said we didn't eat anything, just opened it and she just shrugged. Im not one to make a scene but that was mad annoying so I just took my partial refund and left bc she wasn't trying to accommodate me at all. As I was leaving the manager called me "Chinito" to her coworkers as if I don't know that's a derogatory word towards me as I am Asian. Fuck this place lol read more

We always come by Senor Baja for fried fish tacos and fried shrimp tacos whenever we're in SoCal! We typically do drive through so I'm not sure how ambiance is inside but the service at the window is always super quick and efficient. The fried fish/shrimp tacos are super filling and super flavorful! They'll also include yellow peppers on the side if you ask. This place isn't fancy by any means but pricing is reasonable and the food absolutely hits the spot! read more

The best fried fish tacos !! Everything was so tasty, 10/10 recommend , the salsa was good

A few days ago was my first time back to Senor Baja in Upland since COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020. My go-to food item here is the Grilled Shrimp Burrito. It was really good, but I didn't get any shrimp until the last one third remaining of the burrito. I was like, where's my shrimp?... did I get ripped off? LOL. I finally hit some shrimp in my last few bites. Suggestion to Senor Baja, please spread the shrimps across the burrito and not place them all in one corner of the burrito LOL. I'm knocking off 1 star for poor placement of the main goods. Wow... prices have gone up that's for sure... it's now a $9.99 burrito + taxes + credit card service fee... totaling $11.22. It costs as much as an entrée at a sit down restaurant. Also, they didn't used to charge a credit card service fee until now. I was slightly disappointed that the cashier didn't pre-warn me on the service charge otherwise I would have paid cash for my burrito. Another reason for knocking off 1 star for lack of notification. One thing I don't care about this location is how the drive-thru is set up. It is not the best layout. Barely 3 cars can fit in the drive-thru lane at one time without blocking other cars from getting through the parking lot. And they share the drive-thru with another restaurant which makes exiting very challenging. I had to make a U-turn to get out of there. Very poor design IMHO. Anyway, give Senior Baja a try when you're in the Upland area. Despite of higher prices and bad drive-thru layout, their foods are very good. Happy Senor Baja'ing! read more

I have been going to this spot for years, and most of the time I order my favorite item, the fried shrimp burrito and usually it's good but not today. Today, it was by far the worst shrimp burrito I've ever had. It was like they used old ingredients, the rice was hard and crusty, and the shrimp breading was soaked with oil and looked like it had been fried more than once, the shrimp themselves were chewy and it was overall disgusting. My pet peeve is old food and needless to say this is my last visit, I have a stomach ache as I write this review. read more

How are the stars on this establishment so low? I absolutely used to love their fish tacos (now vegan) and my family can't seem to get enough of them on Taco Tuesday currently! My son is a very picky eater and yet requests their fish tacos and potato tacos a few times a month. They also have a drive thru which has been very helpful during the pandemic. On Tuesdays the fish tacos are $1.99 and on Thursdays the potato tacos are $1.99! You just can't beat that price for the quality! read more
