It took a very long time and he said he could not guarantee the oven and burner would heat properly, however he did all he could do. It still does not heat properly and I went to the store with all of my paperwork only to be told they would do nothing else and I would need to purchase a new stove and, of course, the price was much higher. It gave me peace of mind to have such an experienced repair man show up for the job. Phil said the oil leak under my 8 month old washer is common for GE and doesn't require a repair.
