They made a repair on washer, however it still didn't work. on 2nd. visit they told me another $240.00 to repair. I would not have spent $48.00 on the first repair if I knew another $240.00 was needed. Cost $105.00 for an inaccurate diagnosis. They refuse to refund the cost of first repair as I no longer have broken machine. read more

Unprofessional, unqualified, and unethical. I highly encourage anyone considering this appliance shop to read some of the poor reviews and better business bureau complaints as we had a very similar experience to those. We will be filing a BBB complaint and small claims lawsuit. Please feel free to contact us if you had a similar experience and need help filing the same, it is just that easy and needed to hold this business accountable. Bought 2 appliances here. Both of which were faulted. 99% sure they even knew about them and attempted to hide it from us. All the stoves we looked at were plugged in except for ours. didn't think anything of it. Because, didn't think an appliance store would screw us. But, come to find out. if we didn't unplug the stove after use the oven part would turn on and stay on, on it's own. Only way to turn it off was to unplug it when we're done. Woke up in the middle of the night because it was sooo hot and smelled burning. NUMEROUS times from the oven heating up on it's own. We're pretty sure that's why ours wasnt plugged in at the store. Then! The fridge we bought started leaking because the caulk they tried putting over bad line finally gave out and we noticed it a week after buying. wouldnt trust these people 1 bit very sketchy. I'm not even going to start on how rude and unprofessional their customer service was after bringing this to their attention. We were super nice and tried giving them a chance to fix the mistakes before we accused them for anything. But, they had zero interest in helping or talking in a respectful manner. read more

My recent experience with this business was absolutely horrible and I will not do business with them again and I do not recommend them. I asked them get my 2 refrigerators making ice again -- which should be a relatively simple task for an appliance repair & service company. My experience was awful right out of the gate. Starting with the tone of the guy that answers their phone. He came across as jaded and negative. At first, I thought he might be having a bad day (like we all do). But after several calls spread over weeks, his horrible attitude confirmed my initial suspicions. Secondly, it's hard to conclude that their technicians are competent. The guy that came to "fix" our ice makers couldn't get the job done. We called him back multiple times (6 or 7x) and he still couldn't get either one of them working. He was wrong on everything that he told us was wrong with the appliances. And none of his "fixes" worked. After so many tries, eventually, we just had to give up. Third, they are quick to take your money but not so quick to deliver. They charged a fee to come out the first time -- and every 30 days thereafter--whether your problem is resolved or not. They. Don't. Care. I had to call them back multiple times to let them know that their fixed did not work. Not once did the technician follow up with us to check to make sure the appliances that he "fixed" worked. Just absolutely horrendous service. It's a shame that after several visits, wasted time and over $1,000 spent in materials and labor, these folks could not correctly diagnose or fix our appliance problems -- and they don't have the decency to tell us that they simply don't know what's wrong or give us a refund (partial or complete). read more

I was having difficulty finding a counter top company that would come out and repair/reattach my dishwasher to the countertop. I then heard about Wismans Appliance. When I called them they initially suggested ways that I could reattach it. Unlike most appliance or service places they are all to happy to take your money and charge a good sum to repair. Wismans (Pat) was genuinely trying to save me money. I appreciate that kind of service. He came out, fixed it and the service call was more than fair. Pat also recommended other business that could be called for other service/house issues if they present themselves down the road. I appreciate honest and prompt service. Surprised at the negative reviews. Best prices on used or "scratch and dent." Scratch and dent is new and sold at a significant discount typically because of a scratch or dent. I'm a landlord and check here first. I do my own repairs but need help and advice and the service department knows their stuff and is generous with their time. The salesmen are old school, let's make a deal types, but I don't mind that. Management is honest. I was unable to install a refrigerator I purchased. I had them take it back. It was 6 months before I could use my store credit, no problem. read more

I will not be buying from them again. 2 years ago i bought a speed queen washer from them over $1000.00 5 year warranty with it. this year it broke down called service man came out said he had to order parts took 2 weeks to get in he said the washer would have to go in to get repairs.Department manager wanted to charge me to pick up and deliver, we took it in.another call from them they had to order more parts finally after 3 more weeks my washer is done, went to pick it up and there is new marks all over my washer looks like tape but wont come off the man at the store was like i don't know what your talking about. Called Wisman's to fix my Jennair range. I told them the model nuber, serial number, and the fault codes that the range was giving me. The repair man showwed up, started googling things on his phone and said the electronic boards, aren't available for this, and charged me $90 to come out. Absolute garbage. read more

I have used Wisman's Appliance 3 times in 2017 to fix new appliances from the manufacturer that are not functioning properly. The good first. Their service technicians are excellent. Great in home service, and they did a phenomenal job. If I could hire them directly, I would absolutely do so. Now for the bad. The employees that arrange for the actual service do not have customer service skills. They were demeaning, and made us feel like it was our fault that the appliances broke and that we were inconveniencing them. We can deal with that though, as we needed to get work done, and poor customer service can be lived with. Unfortunately in our latest go round, we couldn't even get that far. After Whirlpool assigned the repair to Wisman, we received a call from Wisman saying they could get here early, which sounded amazing. As we gave them our information, they checked their records and realized they had fixed this very problem with our fridge 4 months previously. At this point, they informed my wife that they could not fix the problem and that they were refusing the appointment. She called me to inform me of this decision. I was shocked, and called Wisman, as there clearly was a misunderstanding. Much to my dismay, the service department continued to decline taking care of the problem despite being the assigned company per Whirlpool. I asked to speak to the manager, who said they were too busy, and since they had already replaced the part once, I needed to talk to Whirlpool. I was obviously frustrated by the lack of assistance they provided. It is possible that the contract that Wisman has with Whirlpool and Samsung (of which the first employee said they were sick of working with/for) is not favorable to the company, but that is no way the consumers fault. This may be the case, as Whirlpool called Wisman directly to intervene on my behalf, and they still refused to honor the repair. I wish I could work directly with their technicians, as they are wonderful. Unfortunately that does not seem to be a common trait with their service department, and I will certainly not be taking any future business to them. read more

A straight up middle of the road review here because, full disclosure, I've not purchased anything from them. I did go in with model numbers of three GE appliances I wanted to order through them. First they wanted to show me their inventory: "scratch and dent" units. They had LOADS of them, especially refrigerators. This is why I gave a three star rating - because I see the potential for a decent deal on a nearly new unit. However we had very tight space restrictions in our kitchen so I had to have specific models. They checked their computer and told me they could get all three pieces, and each one BELOW the MSRP listed by GE. I should have suspected something but I figured that they were able to get some sort of volume discount. I took their quote to two other appliance stores and was informed that the prices quoted by Wisman's couldn't have been for new appliances. It appears that they were allowing me to believe that the appliances were new although they were probably from their same source of "scratch and dents." Can I prove this to be true? This is locally owned business and I LOVE that about Wisman's! They service units under warranty which is also great. The technicians are very knowledgeable and friendly; I would invite them into my home anytime! Not always will things go smoothly, or will every issue be resolved BUT Wisman's actually tried to resolve my issues. I did not purchase my unit from them, it was under warranty thru a different company, and they did an amazing job. GE had gotten my phone number wrong, so I never heard from Wisman's. As soon as I called they apologized and talked with a tech and had a part ordered for me without needing to come out! The part came a few days later and they were out the next day! My washer works great now thanks to Wisman's!! Stucky did not fix their own problem, they had to refer me to Wismans and I am SOO happy they did. I will be purchasing ALL appliances from Wismans from now on. read more

GE set up a repair appointment, but gave the wrong phone number for me. Wisman did not contact GE or try information to contact me even though they had my name and address. When I called to see when they were coming, I learned they did not even keep the repair appointment and I had been waiting at home for no reason. Then I learned a technician would not even come out to confirm the problem but wanted to order a part first a part first and they would not even reschedule the warranty appointment so that I would at least have a spot in their schedule. When I questioned that, I was told to call GE back and say they would not be serving me. GE messed up here, but there was ZERO customer service on their part in taking the warranty call. read more

Will NEVER do business with them again. Trying to get my Washer fixed. The original call went to them on 12/23/16. After a month they were still waiting for parts to come in. FINALLY the washer was picked up on 1/24/17 to be repaired. We were told it would take two days to fix. I called them on 1/30/17 almost a week later and was told they had to order another part because they broke one of them. The lady answering the phone had a "I don't really care what your problem is" attitude and said there was no management there to speak to. In the meantime I'm spending money at the laundromat to wash my clothes. This was a warranty fix by Lowes. Hopefully Lowes takes their warranty work away from them and gives it to someone who will do a better job. This place is a JOKE!! They get a zero from me. read more
