Service Pump has been our go-to for our outdoor water for almost 20 years. This particular issue concerned diagnosing and then fixing a leak in our water storage. Rick dealt by phone with the urgent issue with clear instructions until Andrew came on site. Andrew explained every step of the process and actually came out on Sunday to adjust some of our softener settings and to move a pump into a better location. I wonder if Service Pump is still in business. I had a problem about 6 months ago and called Rick twice and left a voicemail but got no response. Now just this week I have another problem and called and left a message and again, no call back. I had to go with Trew Pump Service which answered their phone and came out promptly. We've used Rick and Service Pump for many years and he has always been great but either he's gone out of business or just doesn't want any more work from a loyal customer. read more

Chris and crew did an amazing job. My sewage lift pump had died and sewage was coming into the shower. On a Sunday they answered the phone quickly and advised me. They recommended a few pump out services to get me flushing again. I got cleaned out on a Sunday and they replaced the pump the next day. I highly recommend Service pump. Super responsive, professional and good guys. I've had two pump issues and they came out the same day and got my water going again.

We live downhill from our sewer main and have a sewage pump that moves our effluent up the hill. Our pump failed over the weekend. I contacted several companies and Rick, the owner of service pump, responded promptly. Since I did not have any info on the pump size, voltage, etc. Rick sent Andrew out on Monday so the proper pump could be brought out to effect the repair. Unfortunately my pump was 230 volt so the new one had to be ordered from Roseville. When shipping was going to take too long, Rick drove to the distribution center and picked one up on Tuesday morning. Andrew came out Tuesday afternoon and the pump was fully operational Tuesday that same afternoon. This level of dedication and service is much appreciated when none of the plumbing could be used. I am impressed by the level of concern and empathy shown by both Rick and Andrew. They recommended a robust pump and the installation was handled quickly and efficiently. There was very little mess during the process and the area was left cleaner than when they arrived. I am confident I will get many years of service from this pump and the cost of the project was in line with other quotations I was given. read more

Rick and Andrew have been out to our place several times over the years. It's amazing how responsive they are. You give them a call and they show up just as soon as possible. The last call I had was a problem with my irrigation pump. I was outside when Rick pulled up and I told him I would meet him down at the NID ditch, but he said he had already fixed it. The review has a minimum star of 1. Should be like 0.24, 'cause nothing is happening after a year of waiting. After spending $345 for an irrigation pump repair, the 'ol pump hasn't squirted a drop and it won't 'cause it's still in pieces. I've called 4-5 times over the months and Rick is pretty good at talking the talk. I'm retired and it's hard to spend that money with zero results. And no one can say I haven't been patient. Andrew was great, knowledgeable, and overall the company had great customer service. I called Rick in the morning and he talked through the possible issues. Within a few hours we had a new pump installed. They tried their best to not have to replace the pump, and troubleshoot common problems but our pump was very old. I couldn't recommend them more. Rick tested our well and communicated back timely the results with us. We had some bacteria in the water and did a bleach treatment. That did not resolve the issue so we knew a sure fix would be to have a UV light installed. We were pressed for time. Rick did that timely and an excellent job, critiqued by my husband who is a plumber. That resolved the bacteria and the water sample passed. He was very reasonably priced. Great communication. This company is amazing. My first experience with them was in the 80's when Chuck owned the company. Some time later Rick took it over and now his son Andrew also works there. They have always been the consummate pros no matter what we needed. Water went out yesterday afternoon, called Rick, heard back that they were very busy with emergencies and might not be able to make it till the morning. He hasn't been here in 10 years but remembered all the details about our system. Doorbell rang around 8PM, Andrew and Todd diagnosed the problem and had the pump pulled in less than an hour. Andrew arrived this morning and put in a new pump and control box before 11AM at a totally reasonable price. It doesn't get any better than that. Andrew is every bit as congenial and professional as we came to expect over the years after dealing with Rick and Todd. Family business that feels like your own family. I can't say enough about how wonderful this company is. BTW- The pump they replaced today was put in 28 years ago. They are as good as it gets when it comes to professional services. I worked in the trades in a related industry and am very fussy about workmanship, theirs is outstanding. Can't recommend them enough. read more

What a great company! Rick and Todd installed a 300 gal. septic holding tank for us. They left our yard looking better than before they started. Then we had a problem due to recent storm/flooding. They bent over backwards to solve the problem and did extra things like replacing a crushed drainage pipe. These guys work HARD; and do whatever it takes to have satisfied customers. Another big plus: they are really knowledgeable. I would trust them with any future septic or sewer needs we may have. read more
