I bought a refrigerator from this place. It started leaking water causing minor damage to cabinets. Could have been a lot worse. I called, left messages, and went to visit them to get service. They claimed they would come by the next day, but did not. More calls and messages not returned. Turns out the filter housing needed to be replaced. The bill was $258. I could have bought a new one. I bought a refrigerator $280.00 "cash" (because their CC machine was not working) from these knuckleheads and after 2-3 days the ice maker began to leak and the bottom drawer (freezer) was locked shut from all the water that was now frozen. I tried calling several times to have them come out and their phone "was not set up to accept calls" I went ahead and hired another company to come out and repair it because these guys were not "Available". My tenant called them and was able to reach them only to have them come and scratch their heads saying "this has never happened before" their advice was to unplug so that the freezer would warm up. Okay, what about the food? What about the inconvenience? What about the time to schedule them to come back and forth on something that should not have a problem? These guys took no responsibility nor did they accept any accountability for their failed attempt in selling me a working appliance. I specially asked them before I purchased it if "it does work right?" And they assured me that it did. -Wrong. I decided to give them another try. I bought multiple pieces of appliances from this company which change their name to SR appliances when they moved locations. I called them to come in service a dryer that I purchased from them in one of my rentals; I explained to them I had a renter checking out in another one checking in that I really needed them to be there I would pay them extra. They said they would be there at 1 o'clock. They never showed up. They never returned my calls. I called the office and talk to his sister who assured me that they would be there and if they couldn't for some reason they would be there the next morning. Well they never showed up the next day either. They put me in a horrible position and this is not the first time they did this. I will not be giving them a third try; and I suggest you read all the reviews that have been left recently. They have not changed. I just purchased an electric dryer today, the only issue was a dent in the front. It runs so well. Much better than the Kenmore I had that stopped heating. This is my second purchase from SR. We made a purchase from this company on March 07, 2015 for a stacking washer/dryer and side-by-side refrigerator. We provided the individual we met at the store with the dimensions of the space for our fridge (35 3/4"). He showed us a side-by-side fridge that he said would fit that and we agreed on purchase. On march 10, 2015 the same person, who I assume is the owner and his son arrives to deliver the purchased appliances. He does not bring a proper gas line to hook up the dryer and the fridge does not fit. His son apologizes for the fridge not fitting and advises they would go back to the shop and call me back to discuss options of a fridge that would fit. Mind you, he did nothing about the gas line for the dryer, which I had to go to Home Depot myself to purchase and install. A day goes by with no call from them and repeated calls to them from me. When I do finally receive a call, a day later, I am advised that they have a fridge "in-stock" that is 33" wide and would definitely fit. They asked me to drive to their store in Cathedral City to look at it and make sure it was acceptable. I arrived at the store, and the daughter was there. She showed me the fridge and I said it would be fine. I also complained about the gas line for the dryer, and told her that I wanted the fridge delivered the following day March, 11, 2015 or I would be expecting them to refund the purchase of the fridge as it was now almost a week after I had purchased the items. The daughter, who was rude and condescending acknowledged my demand and I left. ON March 11, 2015 I receive a call advising that they can not deliver until Friday, March 12, 2015. Again the daughter who called was very rude, but I agreed to give them "one more day" and clearly stated again, this was the last chance for them and I would be expecting a refund if they did not provide me with the item I had paid for. On Friday, March 12, 2015 I receive a call from the son saying the fridge they had me come look at would not fit. I got very upset with him and demanded to know why they were giving me the run around. He apologized for the issue and advised that the fridge his father chose and had me come look at was the same size as the one that I had originally chosen and would not fit. At this time I told him that I would not give them another chance to screw up and that I wanted a refund for the purchase price of the fridge, which he agree to, and offered to either drive to my home location to give me a check or refund it to my credit card. I told him that a refund to my credit card would be preferred. Today is March 19, 2015 and I still have not received my refund. I called the store yesterday and spoke with the snotty daughter again, who said she would call me right back, but she lied. This used to be my go-to for anything appliance-related. Our businesses were across the street from one another. I always paid cash and never rushed them. Gave good google reviews. Did work for them and charged very fair prices even though it was a bit of extra effort. I donated three working units instead of selling them locally, in hopes that it would win a bit of favor. What do i get for loyalty?? No callbacks, multiple ignored messages. They have not updated their location. Their incorporation status is suspended because they are being run by the daughter who has no business sense, no customer service integrity or RESPECT for the hard work her father and brother do. Thursday, my washer (Maytag-older model) stopped working with water inside. Called a friend for a referral and she referred SR Appliances. Called them about 10 a.m. told them what we needed, the make of our washer and what my husband thought the two possible causes could be. It wouldn't spin, agitate, load water, just plain ole not working. We arranged for a 2pm appt. The owner and his son came out brought a water pump and motor and maybe even other suspected parts needed for the Maytag. Sure enough, it was the water pump, they replaced the part in the machine (after removing it from the house) brought it back to the laundry room, completed job and was done at 2:25 p.m. We are highly satisfied. The $145 charge for parts, labor & time was well worth it for us; not having to wait anymore than 4 hrs to get my washing machine back in great working condition. This place is a joke of a business the old man that came to bring a pos refrigerator was rude and unprofessional, first he said he couldn't do it because the old refrigerator was too big without even trying then realized it did so switched it out but left an even worse refrigerator installed. I called my rental company and showed them pictures at which point he then had to come back with the old refrigerator and install it again, but first slammed it everywhere and ripped a hose off which affects its cooling. Bought a used Maytag Neptune washer and dryer from them 4 years ago after buying my house. I wanted to save some money and support a local business.The washer broke right away, I called them and they came out to repair as per the warranty. Still didn't work, called again and never could get anyone to come back out. The dryer still works, but the washer was junk and a total waste of money. I ended up buying a new Speed Queen washer online, which is awesome. Needless to say, I think this business picks up peoples broken crap, does a half-assed repair, then forgets about you after the sale. read more

I literally have bought 2 dryers, 1 washer, 2 stoves, and a refrigerator from these guys. They are nice. They've come out on repairs but, every time I talk to them it's like they've never done business with me before. I just stopped in for 2 more stoves and a refrigerator and they were like "let me find out" and "oh, the owner said he never talked to you." Really? Do you want my business or not? Each time, I tell them my name, the name of my business and they can't remember me? I'd say I'm a pretty good customer with all the appliances I've bought from you. Had a very bad experience with SR Appliance. They fixed our leaking washing machine and were available right away, which seemed great. But days later when our washer leaked again they were much harder to schedule. They did come back after two no-show appointments, but claimed they couldn't find a leak. If you are a new home owner or need an appliance then DO NOT purchase from this establishment. I purchased a fridge and they told me up and down it has 90 day warranty. If anything happens to call and they'll be there. They talk nice over the phone and in person. A week after purchasing the fridge the ice machine stopped working. We called and setup a date and time for a tech to come out but he never showed up. I called and they said they'd call me back but never did. We called and called and nothing. No answer. No call back after a few voice mails. Nothing. How can this be okay to run your business? It's been 2 weeks and not one word. I've called back but their business phone is on an iPhone so I'm sure they have my number saved. I had my father in law call and they pick up right away. It's just not right and not ethical. If I could leave less than one star I would. My hope is that somebody in my position, a new home owner that's just looking to get a few appliances at a good cost, sees this review and doesn't let them do what they did to me. I had to call another company to come out and look at the fridge and it was FILTHY. The bottom was covered in dust and build up. The water filter had not been changed in years. Nice guys but it's been 6 months of back and forth with these guys. They also change or miss appointments more than they stick to them. We bought a used dishwasher from them. It didn't work almost immediately. Then they tried another. When that one also failed I bought a new one. They agreed to pay me back for the dishwasher but then fell out of contact. My frigidaire refrigerator went down yesterday. The lights worked, but both the freezer and frig sides were not cooling down. I was thinking the compressor or something serious was wrong. Well today I called Servicio Ramirez because my boss used them a few months ago and spoke well of them. They were able to meet me at my house within a couple of hours. They checked the frig, diagnosed the issues, and replaced the two bad parts within a few minutes. I was expecting to pay big time money for a frig repair and at the end of the day, got out of there for less than a hundred dollars. These guys are straight shooters and I recommend them. read more

Melissa, the owner said they sent out the refund check in three days. It is 2/16/2017, we still have not received the check. We called millions of times. Within 3 weeks the freezer stopped freezing so I contacted them to come out to repair as it was under their 30 day warranty. She informed me that I would need to bring the refrigerator to them or pay a service fee. I pony'd up the $30 fee and they came out completely unarmed to fix the problem promising to come back in a few days. After not showing up for the next appointment, I called again and was told they were at my home and no one answered. I have 2 dogs and I work from home almost every day. I was home. They came back the next day and claimed it needed a freon charge. Charged the system. It is now 4 months later and the refrigerator is doing the same exact thing. I had someone else look at it (not a tech) that pointed out the caked on mess on the coils that had been there for years most likely, never cleaned before they sold it to me. I have received and education regarding purchasing used appliances at this point and will do more research in the future. Tried this company for dishwasher repair only. Deffinetly a Micky mouse job. Guy that came (finally after 2 cancelations....after an hour late I called n was told they didn't have me on schedule, next day truck broke they said, n 3rd day was an hour late), seemed to fix problem but now not long after, dishwasher hose broke again n everybody knows what a headache water all over the place is. In looking at what he repaired, WoW.....if you don't have the right part, please stop and get it. Aren't you supposed to be a professional? He did not have proper hose coupling and tried to stretch hose to connection and have it hold with 2 ill fitting clamps which of course did not work. Of COURSE it came off. When trying to have them come back and fix again with RIGHT part (I could easily get from Home Depot but had already paid them plenty to come do the fix the first time) the principal was the issue with me. Other guys review of very rude phone service gal for trying to get previous service corrected was understated! Several attempts to try and have them come out to use CORRECT part which they had been paid to do, or even get a proper tech to call back, or ANY kind of remote apology even....surprisingly nonexistent! I give up! Going to Home Depot for coupling and fix myself this time. WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS OUTFIT......MICKY MOUSE TEMPERARY FIXES AT BEST, RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AFTER YOU MAKE SEVERAL CALLS BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT RETURN YOUR CALL ONCE THEY KNOW THERE IS A PROBLEM, AND WILL NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK IF YOU DID MAKE THE MISTAKE OF TRYING THEM.
